Not really, I still don't understand how can the mango be so successful as well. It's not bad, but it fails to engage/excite me when all that happens is just endless SoL with some He-Manesque PSA.
Shizuku's in it?
Yeah, the problem is that it's kept the same status quo more or less the whole time. The only thing that's felt like advancement is Nagisa and a lot of the is only recent.
I really hope things start picking up as they get closer to the end of the year.
It's popular because it's a manga about adolescents (target audience) dealing with problems that normally plague them by adding a fun assassination metaphor twist to things. If you think this manga is anything (or trying to be anything) more than a story of learning and growing you're looking at it wrong. It's a character driven manga, hence the story itself seeming like it's not moving very much. I know we're all interested in what Korosensei's deal is, but frankly his past is not the main focus of AssClass, it's the students.
It's fine if this sort of thing doesn't captivate you, but I think it's pretty obvious why it's popular for a Jump manga.
I am not sure whats there to be "excited" about?
I read the manga but litterally see no reason to jump and celebrate because of anime airing?
Can we expect superb animation and action? Nope.
Will it start right with interesting arks and great humor? Nope.
Are the characters so great i just have to watch it in anime form? Nope.
Its akin to Belzeboob adaptation, no reason to really get excited about and for most part for manga fags nothing great and for new ones just a mediocre long winded shounen series to watch.
I`ll be only remotely interested when reveres not trap will go grimdark, but its not any near in anime.
>I read the manga but litterally see no reason to jump and celebrate because of anime airing?
Because most of the manga is translated slow as fuck, it's nice to have something to tide me over.
Lighten up a little.
Almost all kids are paired up already except for that jock
Can't say I'm a fan of a trap MC. Especially with how hard /a/ spills their semen over traps, making threads less than enjoyable.
If there's no trapservice and there isn't yaoibait, I might give it an episode or two to see if it catches my interest.
As I thought, Koro-sensei's voice is not doing it for me, though overall it's not bad.
Why do they both have their tongues out?
>Not knowing how to stream torrents.
I don't like the VA choice for Koro sensei, Better than I thought it would be.
Hope he doesn't get killed by some faggot shit like "love" or something.
I hope they fire whoever thought this was a good idea
Just finished the entire manga in 2 days so yeah I'm looking forward to seeing it animated. This manga is the first where all the friends really seem like real friends. It just has a certain atmosphere. Even though it doesn't have that "nakama" theme to it, they feel closer than the One Piece and Fairy tail characters that focus on all that.
>wow that mc girl with the twintails sure is pretty
>he's a dude
What the hell man.
Funi have got nearly everything this season, I'm sorry for your losses.
Why is there a chinaman inside the alien's armor?
ugh, why does funimation have to use hard subs
also why are they insistent on romanizing his name are koro-teacher in japan
viz uses koro-sensei
funimation uses koro-sensei
the pun needs it to be koro-sensei
quit being stupid
I liked this touch.
>No public classroom use doujin
Well, this was a surprisingly nice episode, will look forward to more.
Also, well fucking done Japan. It took you seven fucking years, but you have finally made me gay.
It's more of a slice of life with an assassination inbetween which no one cares anyway since it's more important to explore the problems of a background character that is troubled because he has a weird name.
>this scene gets animated
>Bitch sensei VA can't speak english for shit
I really liked the artstyle. I really hope it didn't blow the budget first episode though.
Also, I'm assuming based on the OP that there are four "factions" in the classroom? Or maybe they just gave Koro Sensei his own still frame and had to split the classroom into three for the students, I don't know. Maybe I'm looking too much into it.
Also this is looking to be a good show so far.
Will keep up with.
I want Korosensei to pat me on the head.
Didn't read the manga
>Teacher actually wants the class to have a great time since they are... missfits
>Everyone is going to work togheter to kill the teacher
>They bond as a group
>Being an antisocial beta faggot I can relate.
I see Nagisa already has a healthy amount of "art" on pixiv.
I don't see why you'd bother watching an OVA of a show whose manga adaption you presumably weren't following prior.
VA's seemed a bit off in some cases and I really, really wish they had Wakamoto for koro-sensei.
Otherwise it seemed okay. Not sure how it'll compare to the manga, but from what they did in episode 1 it'll most definitely make koro-sensei actually seem terrifying on occasion.
Now to wait for waifu-droid to come in.
Just watched it, pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to it and to hearing Bitch-sensei speak english. I wonder how far they'll get in the anime. From the PV I was a little scared about Kayano's squeaky voice, but it's a lot better in the episode. Also horrible OP but love the ED.
Very good. So far my AOTS candidate. The art is top notch, as is the OST/VA. The animation is pretty fluid and dynamic, I really like it. The story is interesting, and the writing is up to par. Only the OP is not quite to my liking, but the amazing ED compensates very well.
Looking forward to more episodes.
Fuji Creative English site confirmed it's 22 episodes. I wonder why the territories is listed World except Japan though.
I really thought Kazuya Nakai would voice Karasuma
>only 22 epsiodes
>WT has 50
At least the animations will be better
I actually like the OP song, it's just a shame about the visuals.
The ED is REALLY nice, though.
Since I did this for someone else anyway; for anyone who might want it, have a vector of the anti-koro sensei emblem.
I'll work on getting the taller one that's on the magazines and on the pellets done in a bit.
It's pretty good. I already like it better than the manga
They should make it clear what gender Nagisa actually is...Giving him a unisex name too.
I think it's because the site is geared toward companies/channels that are interested in buying the rights to air/dub the series.
This isn't necessary in Japan, and I doubt Funi got it exclusively for English speaking territories.
They crossdress him later.
Probably won't get to the arc, though.
That would be a good death.
Verschiedene Anwaltsbüros arbeiten für verschiedene Firmen. Sony, Warner, Universal etc.
I want to protect that smile.
There's a reason for it. Want to know? Read the fucking manga.
It's not going to show up in the 22 episodes of this season.
Anyway, vector of the taller anti-koro-sensei logo done. Maybe I'll try and find the font later and do the full thing with text.
Judging from the picture it has already failed.
The manga has some heavy tones to it and the anime will fail to reproduce the atmosphere.
Just by glancing at that picture it looks like some shitty generic school anime.
Nope, ofc I am sticking with the manga.
I wish the manga was translated faster.
I'm pretty sure we're like 10 chapters behind.
I am not saying the atmosphere is heavy all the time.
But with that colouring scheme, I really fail to imagine how the anime will manage to reproduce the atmosphere.
It simply won't and end up failing on many many ways.
