Tht is the same as america. The 'art institute" and 2 year computer animation colleges are cheap and offer low wage jobs.

Pre-recession they various AI art colleges had over 80% employment rate for animators.

It wasn't the worst thing ever, but it was just completely mediocre in every aspect and respect, an utter let down in every attribute that held any promise, and completely failed to deliver on anything that it built towards.

It dragged its feet for an entire cour with nothing, and by the time we reached the end, we realized that it was it. There was nothing more than that, the pointless nothing throughout was the entire sum and content of the show.

It wasn't bad so much that it was so utterly without anything positive that it actually makes you feel angry for having watched it. It was the animation equivalent to eating toiletpaper

Tarou doesn't really strike me as the kind of guy who would be intimidated by a girl his age, his interactions with Aoi feel pretty equal if only because of his obliviousness and I expect the sex would be like that too.
