It gets way too little good fan art. I hope the spike in popularity will fix that.
All chapters of the Washio Sumi LN have been translated, an anon said that he was going to make an .epub earlier.
I hope so as well. Current amount is pretty low.
She's just acting. She knows she's recording her playing to promote the novel. Everything she does is meant for you to see, not her pure honest impressions. If she really fell out of the chair then every VA ever is also loves with every character they've ever done. They always say so in interviews after all.
Why nips put heart eyes on everything, they don't work well this way.
They all had a cock from the beginning, they are just really convincing traps. The shikoku barrier is finally destroyed by the vertex and the world ends with everyone dying, but since there are no girls your condition is still satisfied.
It's not longer possible.
Why is everything about this franchise to great?
There's also the chapter where they wear swimsuits to beat the heat after the power goes out.
White knight, stop. This late game damage control is hard to watch.
Remember how someone said you are always the one to start things? This is what they meant.
You have literally no reason to be bring this up again.
>mfw Yuuna is crying in the PV
Hard to take it seriously when she looks like she's puking.
I miss the time when Tougou was known as the Alpha Waves girl.
Anyone willing to make PIC RELATED pretty and english for the .epub?
Tougou's quirky side is what makes her so great.
>they get overrun
>the vertex destroy everything that's left
>our protaonists do the handpuppet performance in the kindergarden
>the town is smaller now
>the tree is smaller now
I want to rape Itsuki. I can only get off to the crying faces of cute little girls being defiled and degraded by disgusting things over and over. Every time I see her I get hard thinking of her suffering.
Would be nice if the anon who cleared out that Wasshi used his skills on this Yuuna here...
Repost from the past few threads for lazy anons.
Gyuuki: Extremely cruel and truculent, spews poison, likes to devour people.
Kasha: It is said to steal the dead bodies of people who have accumulated misdeeds during their lives.
Inugami: The spirit of a dog who was put to starve, then had his head cut off and buried in a crossroad to increase his hatred by having people walk over his head. Used as a fetish.
Kamaitachi: It rides whirlwinds and cuts people with the scythe-like claws on both of its paws.
Kodama: A spirit that resides in the trees, or those trees themselves.
Ungaikyou: A mirror which reflects the true nature of demons and monster, or of human devilishness.
Aobouzu: A one-eyed buddhist priest standing next to a thatched hut. In the Kagawa prefecture (where the story takes place) it is said to appear before ladies and invite them to hang themselves. If the invitation is refused, it will go away, but if ignored, it will attack the girl and hang her.
Gyoubudanuki: A transforming Tanuki who protects the Matsuyama castle in Kumayama (a region in Shikoku). Also called 808-tanuki because its kin consisted of 808 tanukis.
Shiranui: Type of mysterious fire in Kyushu folklore. It is said to appear in the Yatsushiro and Ariake seas during the nights of new moon on the 30th day of the 7th month of the Tenpou (Japanese luni-solar) calendar when the winds are weak. An actual existing optical phenomena.
Kawabotaru: When a boat crosses the Biwa lake, several firefly-like will-o’-the-wisps appear all over the passengers’ straw coats. Should one remove and discard the coat the fires will disappear, but if the person carelessly tries to put them out, they will only increase in number. The fires twinkle like starlight.
Yoshiteru：The 13th shogun of the Muromachi shogunate. Having learned fencing from Kamiizumi Nobutsuna and Tsukahara Bokuden, he was known as the Swordsman Shogun.

Huh, but if the girl says "FUCK YEAH LET'S SUICIDE" he'll stop her?
Kodama is the cutest. Perfect fit for Itsuki.
He's just really tsundere. He wants attention so he'll get mad if you ignore him, but if you respond to him he'll just go "Baaaaka, it's not like I want to kill you or anything" and go away while blushing.
I don't give a fuck about sales.
Taking even top place this season isn't much of an achievement.
I'm talking about how you're trying to bait by saying "lol" and "newfags" in the same post.
I still can't imagine that this is the same guy that brought us Akame ga Kill.
You can do better than this anon.
Fate entry on amazon is bugged and can't be tracked by Stalker. There is other version of Fate which is tracked but it will amount for 40% of total sales at best. (***,184位/***,229位 ◎ (**4,965 pt) [*,193予約] 2015/03/25, 7377 prediction)
I don't know what other big titles you might be talking about. Parasyte isn't up for preorders yet but it won't sell anyway. If you meant Pokémon etc. - nobody cares because they're for normals and have much different business format.
Togo and Yuna rehearse a play where the prince kisses the princess.
They both state that it feels very nature since it's with each other but Togo's words and actions are very clearly those of someone with a serious crush while Yuna seemed more innocent.
Then people bitch and moaned about how canon and mutual their gay love actually is.
>while Yuna seemed more innocent.
True, I noticed that as well.
Then again it was Yuuna who openly approached Tougou and decided to hang out with her often, pushing her wheelchair around, calling her princess, and so on.
I guess it's really open to interpretation as it's always with these yuri undertones in shows like these. After all if the crush was mutual then the show actually had to go further and they never do that.
If they're saying Yuuna is the one who doesn't love Tougou then they didn't really pay attention to the first few episodes.
Yuuna was quite literally obsessed with Tougou.
When Tougou got mad that Fuu dragged them into the hero club without telling them what it was really about Yuuna assumed that she only got mad because it put her in danger, when it was actually everyone.
Pretty much meaning Yuuna was hoping that Tougou was only thinking of her. That's about as gay as it gets.
But the show is not over yet, I really don't like that people started saying that just for that scene when everyone said it was mutual before it. It's not like the scene changed anything from Yuuna's side, it just confirmed Tougou's side.
As one nip said, they're acting, but the gay is very real.
I think Tougou's crush already became apparent here.
And from Yuuna's side, it's unusual how often she casually touches Tougou's hand and hugs her. Given that japanese aren't usually touchy and keep distance, this has even bigger weight.
Shit, am I gonna have a permanent boner all day?
I don't really get how people can deny Yuuna's gay.
I think Yuna's character has been very consistent throughout the show, maybe to a fault.
She is 100% with Togo unless the cripple is already occupied with something else and their physical interaction is way beyond those of everyone else in the show. The only problem is that we have had nearly no insight into her point of view so far, so whether she turns out to just be a loyal friend, a timid girl in love, a raging dyke or even an evil Taisha drone, nobody will really see it coming until after the fact.

I can't verify this, but I think the numbers are only for Amazon? The first volume is selling out on other online retailers.
Honestly I don't really care about that.
After watching so many SoLs and magical girl shows I'm used to all the undertones and the teasing and I know it never ends with something substantial, there will never be a kiss or a confession or anything, it will always be vague, always, and this show is the same. And honestly, I like it. Confessing means going into a relationship, and showing relationships isn't a strong side of anime.
>I can't verify this, but I think the numbers are only for Amazon?
No. They are based on amazon rankings (and barely significant NND) but there is formula in place which takes other stores into account. >>118334569
So probably around 4k and there's no way it will rank in the next two weeks because Christmas.
Damn, it might be a huge increase compared to being at the bottom but it's still pretty meh.
Thanks for the information. I just found some information on someanithing.com and what you're saying seems to be about right.
But I guess it's worth noting that the DVD has a predicted 534 points, which would make the BD/DVD vol. 1 average a non-significant amount higher than just the BD average.
***,252位/***,270位 ○ (***,534 pt) [*,*12予約] 2014/12/17 結城友奈は勇者である 1 [DVD]
Although I guess the average (for all volumes) will be lower as later volumes are released.
Don't respond to him. He's been going at it for long months in various threads. Whenever you see someone complaining about /u/ out of nowhere, ignore. In reality /a/ has much more yuri fans than /u/ had posters in its history.
I think you misquoted.
>I don't care about shipping
>you don't care about the story or the characters
I'm completely at a loss how you managed to read that into what I said but I guess I'm just answering to bait here anyway.
I don't think Yuna actually believed that Togo only got mad for her sake. I think she just said it because she knew it was the best way to talk to Togo.
Which leads me to believe that Yuna isn't as oblivious as she appears and at the very least knows that she herself is very important to Togo.
Yeah, I'm really worried about the thresholds which might be too much for wk2, wk3, wk4. As for average, I think 5k is possible if it keeps ranking well after next episode. You can never be sure with early releases, Sidonia v1 picked up 37.5% of its sales after wk1. But it might as well not rank at all in wks2+.
Good choice, someanithing is perhaps the best place for finding reliable info about sales. DVDs might not rank now because all the family stuff which gets popular around Christmas is usually released on DVDs but even v2 should sell ~400 DVDs which would be a considerable bump to the average.
I want more MG animes like this. Not the suffering but the SoL.
I think you got Aries and Capricorn confused.
>Stalker point for the last day is low
>wk1 sales is hampered by stock problem
>most probably can't have wk2 sales in Christmas due to same problem
It's just as beautiful as Shinju-verse.
I'm not sure if you buyfagged before (anyway bless you for supporting YuYuYu) but amazon sometimes returns (part of) the tax it took initially. If it slips by customs, you can even get full return. I think it's better because you don't have to personally deal with customs in your country and get the package as soon as possible.
You are my Hero and I love you Yuuki Yuuna.
Well, it's in the official dictionary like that.
Aries is a ram and capricorn an ibex, rams have spiraling horns, ibexes do not, and while both could be that running vertex (at first I even thought it was Taurus), the other vertex' looks only make sense as capricorn since his appendages look more like ibex horns.
Those with moon knowledge, get to translating, only one of the two is here.
Nips where expecting 5000k before yuyuyu hited the top 10 again. Stalker points are unreliable, storefronts are selling well enough, DVD got a boost in rankings.
The points won't update anymore, but right now they would have been around 3.8 at least.
That's from last decade, though, I don't think that data is all that representative anymore. I wish we could get a bunch of production teams to state the break event point for shows from franchises that are relatively new but don't matter anymore. Cost of production varies wildly among shows after all.
It's an error in the LN. They defeated Capricornus in chapter 3 already, yet it's illustration appears again in chapter 8 even though all three Vertexes in that chapter are supposed to be yet unknown to the Yuushas. The names on the official website seem to be correct and also fit the descriptions in the LN (Aries running, Capricornus with huge horns).
stalker points are based on amazon (mainly) and with amazon being one of the few or only place that remain open for preorder i would expect it cause an increase on the point value
This is a bit outdated. From what I know, operating costs are all over the place a bit.
I don't think he was saying that the DVDs will sell more than the BDs, it's just that
some of them will sell in the first place. Sales are sales, after all.
What's bothering me is the fact that we know it's basically sold out everywhere, but estimates are still only around 3.8k. Does that mean they didn't bother printing more than about 4000 copies?
Why produce the show in the first case if they only expected to sell just barely above the Manabi line at best?
Yeah, I know the Manabi line isn't set in stone, but YuYuYu isn't particularly low budget, and I doubt anything under 2.5-3k is going to turn a profit
Could be some sort of crazy marketing strategy where they will suddenly pull more stocks after the last episode airs because they are very confident in a last episode boost, or more likely they don't see the anime as the core of the franchise.
A strong storefront means that the points underestimate, in some stores YuYuYu was on first place, above even that CGI movie
Right now its a fucking black box, we can just wait and see
well, In japan they're having a low inflation rate over pass years and so as labour cost and rent and such, and disc price hasn't changed much too but just back to that time they don't have that much oversea licenses thus I would assume the margin roughly maintain at the same level
Aren't stalker points just an estimate based on the Amazon ranking history? That really doesn't sound like a reliable measurement of how much an anime will sell in general. Specially considering how YuYuYu had an odd ranking history where it catapulted into the top ranks at the last third of the anime.
it's just different translation between astronomical use and fortune telling use as sfar as i know. and the last kanji from the anime mean -class. As far as it is 羊 then you know it is the same.
So much THIS
All this blessing is too much for me,
Stalker points can be inaccurate, and can significantly underestimate or overestimate depending on how the title sells off of Amazon compared to on Amazon. However, it usually does a pretty good job, and it's easily the best that we can estimate before we have hard numbers.
That's true, DVDs will be ~10% of YuYuYu sales. What I was trying to say though is that if YuYuYu was released in normal week its DVD should be able to rank. However due to it being close to Christmas, it might not happen. Hovewer hope isn't lost because one of further volumes should rank, being released in less busy week.
>Nips where expecting 5000k before yuyuyu hited the top 10 again.
Aren't you confusing average with wk1? Also, out of the biggest stores, YuyuYu only dominates HMV.
I think it's standard for anything military oriented. For example Kaga is the only Kaga-class aircraft carrier.
2899 is definitely not enough to break even for majority of anime however the data we get isn't full (not all stores report to Oricon, sales from later weeks accumulate despite us not seeing them, exports aren't counted by Oricon...) and we have no idea how non BD/DVD/CD stuff sells. However, if we take it all into account, Manabi Line is pretty decent as a general ballpark.
>Does that mean they didn't bother printing more than about 4000 copies?
The figure is definitely completely different (see above), but you got the general sense - yes, they didn't print enough. Why? Because it's expensive, they can't afford to print too much. Remember that show was ranking poorly before. It suddenly picked up only recently. Printing more BDs isn't that easy, it takes some time. Hopefully it will be able to rank in wk3 or wk4 so we won't miss the data.
Exactly, that is the main problem.
The reports of stock problems are also odd, some stores are out of it yet others are not. YuYuYu has been staying too much on the top 20.
Also, the DVD sales are completely wrong, it jumped almost 400 positions on release due to the lack of bd stocks. I wouldn't be impressed with 1k or more
The LN video is getting a lot of love, buying vol 1 or 2 will give you priority in an event and finally, two more episodes to air.
So, basically, at least 5k is my vision here.
Depending on how the anime ends, a sequel could be welcomed, but more than likely it'll be a bad idea. For it to end on the highest note it could, it should probably be a fairly definitive ending.
But a different project in the same setting, either about different girls, a Washio movie, or maybe even a movie about how earth got wiped out and the Shinju came to be in the first place could be very nice.
Animating the prequel in some way (OVA or movie) probably remains the best bet, unless this series was written with a S2 planned from the start. A movie would probably be more likely than an OVA, simply because the industry is making movies out of everything these days.
It's entirely possible the show ends in a way that would make a season 2 possible. After all, it appears that they wanted to start a franchise with everything they are working on with this, so writing in a way that would allow a season 2 would not be a particularly big surprise.
There are way too many factors though.
I personally believe they will do more, since this is such a sizable multimedia franchise at the moment. It would seem like a waste to just end it
Think about it. Hero system? What kind of religious organization calls the magic blessing that gives birth to their holy knights "Hero system"? Taisha is actually a bunch of scientist and so it's normal that they classify their enemies like that.
I'm not even joking here. I seriously believe the men behind the curtains in Taisha are wearing lab coats and not holy robes.
I think a spiritual successor would be ideal. Get the same team, make a something similar, but original, maybe set in the same universe, maybe not. That, or make it into a trilogy. I'm not much for adapting the LN's. As much as I love them and think they're an integral part of the whole experience, they just lack a good climax to make for a good movie. It's an incomplete story without the anime.
Also, I'd love there to be SoL drama CD's set between chapters 3 and 4 of the LN.
No, thanks. I don't believe in sequels except for specific genres. Adventure stories or comedies are easily extended. But YYY seems like one of those shows that has a clear beginning and end. I'd rather not add on to it. Besides, they've given us a wealth of tie-in content as it is with the VN, 4komas, and LN.
>Also, the DVD sales are completely wrong, it jumped almost 400 positions on release due to the lack of bd stocks. I wouldn't be impressed with 1k or more
No way in hell is that happening. Even ranking for a whole week at #252 won't give you 1k. Difference between #20 and #50 is bigger than difference between #200 and #2000.
I'll be very surprised if YuYuyu manages to sell 700 DVDs.
In other news, amazon:
BD out of stock on amazon until 22. DVD out of stock until who knows when.
This practically never happens. Don't worry.
His lying out of his ass.
PP will sell better than amazon prediction suggests.
Prequel anime series seems to be everyone's preference.
Problem with all the other tie in content is that unless you can understand moon it's all useless to you. But with anime it'll get English subs.
It was overestimated because it did worse in other stores. Some shows are amazon-heavy, others are store-front-heavy. Stalker tries to aim for the middle ground which can be applied to as many anime as possible.
>YYY seems like one of those shows that has a clear beginning and end.
I agree with this. But I don't think it's that clear that it is planned to be just one season. It might be more of a second cour that a sequel.

actually not much change. it even advanced i more rank in the last hour.
No way in hell they are changing anything, that might have happened two months ago but definitely not now. However the last two episodes unfold, they had it planned from the beginning.
I hope so too. I was meaning to say that maybe they envisioned a two cour anime from the start. They are clearly very invested in this project, what with the unusually high amount of multimedia content being produced before the anime even started airing, so why not take the next step and go for a 2 cour anime?
I love how they made a specific entry for that.
The Vita game is action and CG events.
It looks it is an alternate universe given their liberal application of the Mankai System.
>This is the last week she has to make cookies
I don't really get why so many people want the prequel animated rather than a sequel or something else entirely. The show's so engaging precisely because we don't know what's going to happen next.
