Arcueid and Ciel really look off without the 90's anime hair. The heroines of the far side route look alright, but Akiha doesn't look nearly as snarky.

Man like, by H-game standards the writing's just fine.

I mean sure like, comparing it to novels or other more mainstream genres of videogaming, the writing's crap.
But it's weird insofar as my memories of this game will be predominantly, A: Field 2 rocks, and B: It's the Negaduck, Bizarro-world universe version of an H-game, in which the sex scenes are awful Christ make them STOP but everything except the sex scenes are somehow tolerable.

Not great, mind you, but let's not equivocate "tolerable" with "great." It's decent. It's just that compared to other experiences within the narrow confines of its genre, "decent" is really quite good.

Only problem I have is with Arc's miniskirt. Her long skirt was a trademark of her character and gave her an uncanny traditional look.

Well, hopefully the remake lifts the obligation of playing a near side of the moon route before getting to the far side ones. All I want is to chill out in Hisui's route with the remix of Track 02.

Looks great. Only thing that irks me is Arc skirt aside from that everything is great. Ciel is a Massive improvement. I'm sure I'll get over the skirt eventually.
