>Detective Conan thread
So why did they take 2 weeks for an episode drawn so shitty?
Its not that he's short, its that the girls are abnormally large.
Conan has always been a shortie.
The original Kaito anime was so superior...
You'd dislike the OVAs even more. The only thing it has over the current series is that the gag comedy is even more over the top. 1412 has better visuals, animation, music. Not to mention that the show actually feels like a single series instead of how disjointed the OVAs were.
I'm starting to miss the 'Ran, Conan, Kogoro go on a trip' episodes, there hasn't been one in a while.
>1412 has better visuals, animation
His financial situation is such a mystery. He's always getting paid top dollar to solve cases, but he still lives on top of a laundromat or corner store or something, and still rents cars.
I assume he gambles all of it away on horse racing.
>Conan won't turn back into Shinichi to hang out with Ran for at least 150 more episodes.
Another one of these already? Fantastic
We all already know how something like that will go. Shinichi attempts to confess to Ran but is cockblocked by some case that he's compelled to solve. Just as he finishes and gets back to Ran, he starts to change back and has to run off again but Ran will cling on until the very last minute.
Aoko > Ran
The best episodes are the ones that involve a lot of suspects because it's tougher to guess.
I remember this one episode with only 2 suspects- an innocent looking woman and a big grump that's protesting his innocence. Obviously you can tell which one the murderer is.
What do you guys think of the new movie coming out?
Some more info about the movie.
“Kaitou Kid has set his sights on a recently resurfaced Sunflowers painting by Van Gogh and seems prepared to put a lot of people in danger to get his hands on it?!”
The trailer is coming out in a few days, people are generally unsure of what the movie is about.
Kaito Kid looks somewhat evil in both posters though. He's also a suspect for murder.
Well, we are getting some progress on Sera's plot in the series, 18 had a mayor reveal in plot too, even if it was kind of obvious for some.
This winter vacations I'll rewatch Detective Conan and the movies.
Honestly, I don't read the manga, that's why anybody could have known that before me.
The series itself grows on you, I'm just watching Conan for the mere nostalgia.
Is this even up for debate?
I would literally never read another chapter of Detective Conan if that happened.
Although, it'd be funny if Mishitsko was the boss, considering how close Haibara is to him.
Detective Boys. Kaito Kid tends to be enjoyable, but everytime I see Genta and Mitsuhiko, I literally skip it because I know it's going to be bad.
It didn't used to. I still remember some of their earlier one's; the mansion murder mystery with the kids was interesting, and a few were tense, but after that I lost considerable interest the more they went on.
When you're a kid, it's all fun and games until you grow up, you start to understand some tricks and get to know more stuff from the series, which makes it even more entertaining.
I sit through the detective boys episodes just to see if anything interesting happens- I quite liked the one where Conan tells the boys that the people that this little kid was with wasn't his parents
Plus I watch them for the Ai
I totally would Shinichi's mom
Nearly everything about that episode was ridiculous
Had it not been for his mom being at the right place at the right time in that episode, the show would've taken a pretty sharp turn early on
