>devil of the shield has abandoned his old balloon pals now that he can hang out with fat birds and dumb dragons
so i can start reading it without worries.
Im kidna hyped right now. Im also reading overlord and Mushoku and they're really nice Novels.
Is it me or why are good LN start popping up in this year?`
Some have been around for a while but haven't been translated until recently, like shieldbro for example. There's some others that are hilariously bad (Arifureta) and others that have a nice start and turn shit in the blink of an eye (Gun Ota from what some anons have said).
Spear Hero #007 - Prison
I try to emulate other translator how they translate Shield Hero by reading english translated chapter. It's still shitty translation, but I hope its easier to read.
Is there a collection of translated chapters to download? Like from ch 1 to the latest translated chapter.
Im on my phone on the way to munich right now so i cant find these things at the moment.
Its unfortunate, I enjoyed Arifureta in the beginning with the dungeon crawl. It went downhill fast after that and Im only still reading because he still hasnt met up with the other students aside from sensei's group
This is getting its first release in a few days, anyone read it?
Oh alright, thought you were asking more along the lines of what other people thought about it as in you had read it.
There's quite a few reincarnation type stories that are getting LN adaptations lately.
that's a long time. what are we supposed to do until then. it's not like we can just get up and do shield unrelated things
They have been around, people only started translating then recently, and then more an d more people got interested, and more people went to translate them.
I recommend Mother of Learning once you're up to speed in Mushoten and Shieldbro.
I'm kind of pissed because I really like the time loop groundhog day style trope yet Mother of Learning is the only thing I can find that actually does it well.
MC exploring the fact that he knows everybody and he can do anything he wants because at the end of the loop he'll return safely, and then he proceeds to train in stuff he would take years to learn. That's it done well. I don't want to read a story about someone that loops everyday yet he does the same thing all the time.
