What does /a/ think of BLAME! ?
Do you think it'll ever get a real adaptation?
Seeing some scenes with quality animation would be great, like when Killy and Cibo break through to the next level.
Also, since they bothered to animate KoS I'm thinking why not Blame, and maybe ABARA too, that'd make a great OVA.
he actually can, if you're talking about the faces.
That looks better, but it's obviously not something he can consistently recreate. His characters' eyes always seem to be falling off the side of their heads.
I choose both.
>it really wouldn't work.
nah fuck that, i want someone to make it work
i want the sound designer to be the guy that worked on boogiepop phantom. what studio could do it justice? i absolutely don't want 3d.
who's brazen enough to do a bleak cyberpunk series where the main character is a gun and he is carried around by his silent yet strong sidekick
>That looks better, but it's obviously not something he can consistently recreate. His characters' eyes always seem to be falling off the side of their heads.
because they are inhuman monsters in a decaying world.
he did a whole fucking manga doing that, and this too. Anyone whose read Nihei knows that he knows what he's doing
>Some shit should be left in medium it was created for, simply as that.
for real though i'll agree do disagree on this one you enjoy blame and that's enough for me bro
Have you watched the 6 mini eps they made for Blame? Those were pretty damn good, just too short. I think it can definitely be done, but it's true that it wont be the same as the manga.
You mean those poorly made artsy panning shots divided into 6 cuts? Nah, they were shit. The only good thing about them is soundtrack, Onogawa Hiroyuki wrote some fine shit for it.
Its kinda hard to get into it because its confusing as fuck but when I was finally managing to get interested I heard I had to read NOiSE first, haven't picked it up since. Is NOiSE as confusing?
I'm more interested in a re edition of the mango. I would buy the old one but is hard to find complete and expensive as fuck
withe the sidonia anime do you think it will be possible guys?
>It's normal to not understand what the fuck is going on?
He's looking for terminal genes because reasons. That's all you need to know. When you're at the end, just think back about how it started.
Just started Biomega.
I had read Knights when it was a few volumes in.
Should I stop Biomega and start Blame? Is there an improvement in his work?
I'm about halfway through Biomega.
biomega is weakest work. he had no idea where he was going with it once tapeworm was underway and it just shot in retarded directions after that. then he was canceled and had to wrap shit up fast cutting short all the directions he was trying to go in.
blame plot is simpler and better for it.
it also has the better characters but being his first work the art for the characters faces is bit..well QUALITY.
Except for the character designs. Loved the fairly clear hero vs. villain styling. Pretty sure there's a Kamen Rider influence in there.
Still waiting for a full-fledged Zoichi figure.
I liked Biomega's characters quite a bit. Also, I'd say Abara's worse.
This is the tumblr of a guy from /agdg/ who was/is making a Blame! inspired walking simulator. Maybe it's the one you guys are talking about, maybe not. He has a job in the industry and does other things but man do I want him to work on this till completion.
If it's VR-capable, I'll sell my kidney.
The only thing wrong with the way he drew faces back then was that most of the time it was samefacey as fuck (except for monstrous characters and electrofishers)
I really like the weird aspect they have, really helps you understand that nobody is actually human anymore.
Post music that goes very well with BLAME!
obligatory Ice Ages
and the OVA's OST
That would work if BLAME! was an indie film about a young art student who just moved to a small countryside town, falling in love with a slightly eccentric girl with small tits and no ass, and ending up disappointed because she cheats on him with his best friend.
>dat EXTREME FAST FORWARD STAIR CLIMBING
From the fact that Radiohead carries that "muh feels" pretentiously depressed but ultimately vapid young adult vibe.
Not dark, not oppressive, not melancholic, not actually depressing, just mopey. It's music for emo kids who grew up a little.

And you guys don't want this adapted? Its sounds awesome. I will never understand mangafags.
it wouldn't work because a lot of the anime would quickly go through the sequences in the manga, for example taking the maglev to the Toha building. The fights would be neat though.
But the Killy walking sim is still in development, dev hangs around here sometimes.
he said something of spring 2015
Humans lost access to the internet and petabytes worth of porn. Killy travels through the megastructure so that humanity can finally fap in dignity again.
What do you think DayZ is?
