I'm in despair! The lack of a SZS thread on /a/ has left me in despair!
I expected a cute comedy with dark humor about a crazy school teacher and his dreamy students
i didn't expect that ending i didn't expect it at all
The biggest part is that all that shit was foreshadowed throughout. All over the course.
> "the seven year punchline" when manga aired for seven years
> the eye transplant that made her see
every other girl from the main cast as Kafuka
> Kafuka's fucking NAME
Fuck, I don't remember when i put it on hold. Which one is that episode where they talk in onomatopoeia babble and there's two sets of nonsensical subtitles? I think it was in Zoku. 4? 5?
RIP my sides 1991-2014
>Sensei even said who Kafuka was in 1st chapter/episode
The answer is Rumba > Ringo > Bure though
no, the answer is Bure > Rumba > Ringo
To anime-only friends who want to be spoilered.
How about the fact that Kafuka actually
does not exist. There however exists a certain girl mentioned a couple times called An Akagi. Her father killed her by throwing her in front of a car and made away with the life insurance money. The organs went to twelve girls who tried to commit suicide, aka the main cast. None of them knew Akagi, and the only thing they knew of is that it's some teen from Tokyo. From being forgotten and unknown, An came back as a spirit that called itself Kafuka. It possesses members of the main cast to speak as herself.
In the end, Itoshiki loved Kafuka and only Kafuka and spent the rest of his life marrying all twelve (well, marrying the one Kafuka possesses right now) and making babies that look and act exactly like Kafuka. A random observer was (un)fortunate enough to notice this and got absorbed into the hivemind. Kafuka as we know her is destined for oblivion, however.
Cute schoolgirls doing cute things.
The last 10 chapters of the manga, which i don't think are animated, are A RIDE.
Then you re-read the series and realize that Kumeta planned this shit literally from the very first chapter.
It might be me seeing things, but I think manga doesn't really have shots of the whole cast simultaneously, including Kafuka.
That shangri la line gets me every damn time
You guys should watch Joshiraku, it has these constant SZS conversations
>not having already loved the shit out of it
