New JoJo Thread...
Then fight me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pO5iNCi8jHE
So this thread is jump for imagedump or something?
Anything specifically you want? There's a Dio vs Giorno fight, alt part 4 gang vs Kira, very long bits of Kars vs Valentines, Dio, Narancia and 36th JoJo in space, and also random zombie bits. I could also just post alt versions of different characters/stands.
Sure, here's alt Greenday which has something to do with bubbles.
Josuke's stand is now something like Highway Star but Dolphins
Josuke truly does have shitty hair in Jorge Joestar.
No pictures of Okuyasu's stand, but here's Koichi's
Rohan survived the reset so his stand is unchanged, and for some reason Kira's Killer Queen is also unchanged.
I didn't even know it was possible to make it worse, but somehow Jorge Joestar did it.
Have to go for a bit, will post more later
Doppio gets a stand that lets him turn any object into a phone.
Narancia becomes a major side character in the novel. I believe his Aerosmith is mostly unchanged. Here he is with main JoJo of Novel.
Here you go
also fuck I forgot Fatty give me another minute
Fatty might have beaten Josuke at the shit hair contest.
I drew shitty fan art of worst hairstyle josuke and okuyasu
Thanks that's amazing, have some Killer Queen
Nah he's fine, Crazy Dolphin will patch him up.
There's probably 400 something images, and 1000 pages of text.
I don't know how to even react to these pictures.
Done with part 5 characters, and the only part 6 character is Pucci who just has the same stand, so moving onto part 7
Unless you want some badly drawn pucci faces
Honestly I can't tell who is Jonathan, and there's not any Jonathan-like characters doing remarkable things in the pictures, but there's some really strong Dio/DIO during the Kars showdown. One of the Dios also fights Diavolo.
>Unless you want some badly drawn pucci faces
Do I ever!
hey fell/a/s anyone have the link for the english color scans for part 6?
So any thoughts on what this rock dude is (was)?
Whole new species like the pillar men or just part of his stand?
Also whats up with Araki introducing a stand with some weird ability then the stand never actually using that ability again?
Plastic-Eyes are weird, the mysteries just keep adding up. Stands were created by a diseased meteorite, so maybe the rock-disease is some variant of stand disease, and if you learn to survive it you get more powers.
It's still a tossup on what Yagiyama's rock abilities are purely because it's his stand ability or maybe Araki has a certain direction going with it.
As for the plastic eyes I'm going to guess that up as an ability Araki thought of and discarded due to story.
So far I did like the stand abilities chosen this go around. The ability to take away properties, the ability to possess limbs through injury, the ability to remove memories based on rules, and Born This Way with the ability to travel almost anywhere with an open door or cap with freezing added in.
Jobin's stand should be the most interesting.
Did I mention they go into space?
The actual product that exists is legit batshit and can only have come from the mind of a madman. And this is in comparison to the usually fairly insane things that happen in JJBA. Jorge Joestar is just fucking Daffy.
By the way, the immediate next image on the next page is of naked Mista.
I've only read chapter one, the only part translated to english so far, and it was pretty fucking normal.
Hard to imagine what caused it to take a plunge down to retarded-knows-where.
Time for part 7 stuff
Soundman actually is Sandman this time
I can see the taking away properties thing getting super OP later in the manga.
>I used my stand SOFT & WET to steal the LIFE from you!
Like that kinda shit but more creative. I thought the friction thing was super cool.
It probably has to be physical concepts.
Though I don't see why he doesn't just "I plundered the blood from you, goodbye." I mean, he took out the policewoman's water (mostly).
I was in BMore around the time of Otakon and happened to pass by the convention center a few times that day.
I saw that dude along with a Narancia and a Bruno with his friend dressed up as Sticky Fingers.
Other than that, shitton of KlK stuff going on.
I forgot about the temporary, thats a good point.
This makes more sense, that way he's not like "I stole your AGE you're 5 years old now, let me smack you around"
Though similar effect if he stole the testosterone or something
There's also 3 Valentines, Funny has his D4C, Funnier has a stand named Rear Window that lets him make portals or something, and Funniest has Singing in the Rain which lets him fly.
Sounds like a requiem ability if he has to take life or even stands itself.
Soft and Wet's skillsets move away from being a typical punch ghost and focusing on finding key openings to start removing properties. Giving that a limit can really liven up battles for Josuke.
Satsuki-sama what happened
Finally found some of God-tier Jonathan, but no pictures of him actually doing God-tier stuff.
Here's some of Funnier's stand
Reading through part 4 again only solidified Kira's position as the best villain for me.
I think I keep mixing up Okuyasu and Josuke and I think Okuyasu's the one with the Dolphin Stand.
Dolphin stand is named Grand Bleu, and creates 3 dolphins named Jack, Enzo, and Joanna.
Josuke's stand makes pic related who thinks he's a new york cop.
Fatty's stand is called Stray Dogs and lets him control dogs.
Koichi's is Blue Thunder and it just lets him use a propeller on his head.
Earlier Clown Stand was from an OC Jorge characters, has two abilities, Wound which hangs things in closed doors and some other ability Cubed House that lets her move through time and space.
Funnier's Rear Window is for teleporting stuff
Funniest's Singing in the Rain lets him fly
Soundman's stand is now called Dune and does sand manipulation stuff.
Bruno's stand is now Goodnight Moon, apparently does stuff with needles and thread
Abbacchio's is pretty similar but past 24 events are stored in video tapes, named Video Drone
Narancia has U-boat which is similar to Aerosmith but a boat, works sort of like Diver Down in that it dives into people's bodies and fires missiles.
Mista's stand is named Iron Ladies, "Is similar to the Sex Pistols of Part 5 original, but everyone is a gay here."
Doppio's stand doesn't have a name but makes phones.
Green Day is now called Blob and isn't revealed in novel, just shown.
Secco's stand is Evil Dead (That huge face with thumbs in eyes) and hides events.
There's also weird variations on stands called Bound and Wound, wound is based on personal pain and is somehow used to escape pain (OC clown character had fear of clowns or something so of course she gets a clown stand)
And Bound has something to do with oneness of nature so Soundman can control sand/the enviroment and uses Bound.
Where will the break start exactly? I guess once they're in Egypt, but will they end on the Speedwagon chopper bringing Iggy in, without showing him? What will animeonly-faggots think of our favorite dog? How about his death?
Here's Kars with U-Boat
>our favorite dog?
I've always hated Iggy and was glad when he died. Fite me.
that octopus hair
Also thanks anon, these have been entertaining, for better or worse.
No problem, here's what his stand can do though, since it can make portals (Like making a portal into Narancia's mouth) and then shoot, which causes this.
>Josuke's stand makes pic related who thinks he's a new york cop.
>Fatty's stand is called Stray Dogs and lets him control dogs
>Narancia has U-boat which is similar to Aerosmith but a boat, works sort of like Diver Down in that it dives into people's bodies and fires missiles.
Here's Singing in the Rain
Also shit Mista's stand isn't even actually female, it's just transgender
This Jorge shit is totally insane. Why did Araki let this happen?
Looking at this made me realize Anasui dresses like a drag-queen on cocaine. And he's one of the few characters supposed to be straight.
Who dresses the most fabulously, /jojo/ ?
I'm guessing Transgender, but honestly dunno
Also more info on the plot of the book, main character is a young Detective named Jorge Joestar, unrelated to part 2 George. Weird stuff begins to happen and Morioh starts drifting/running away. Part 5's base also starts running away too and they collide which leads Jorge teaming up with Narancia. There's something about The Cubed House being a nexus point that allows travel to the events of part 6 and 7 and gets the main characters involved in all the crazy mash-ups. That's all I can find for now, trying to find more about the Dio fight at the end.
I wish I can grab the pic but no. They were just references to what happened when they got caught trying to take down Diavolo. One of them got cut up into small meat cuts and put into portrait frames. When put together it assembled one of them.
He got more clothes as a girl nigga
Also, why is Weather so handsome?
Gelato and Sorbet are never said to be gay, there's just this one panel of them.
I thought you were talking about Tiziano and Squalo
So outside of shit hair, who is the greediest JoJo?
There was that one panel of Buccelati's gang and Trish posing with each other, and everyone but Trish was touching someone or being touched. I can't find it right now, though.
Alright so I decided to watch this series (I'll read it later) and have a quick question. In the beginning of Stardust Crusaders, why did Jotaro have Star Platinum punch the shit out of Hierophant Green? Wouldn't that hurt the nurse also? Maybe I missed something.
Johnny was pretty selfish, I don't know about greedy. He would kill anyone to walk, and almost let Valentine go just to have Gyro. Also he killed all those people from shooting Valentine prematurely and passed around the rock disease not caring who would suffer.
You could also see Giorno as selfish initially. He was just going to use Bruno and the gang to take down Diavolo and take the gang for himself.
Wait, why are you starting with Stardust Crusaders? That's the 3rd part, start with the 1st season in Phantom Blood/Battle Tendency.
don't spoiler shit for people who are going to read
What possible color combos are you waiting for?
Dio's World could start shifting colors almost constantly
I didn't start with it, I just went through it quickly. Should have clarified that.
Anyways, I'm on ep 12 and does Stardust Crusaders get better? I kind of miss the older episodes since the battles felt more clever and interesting to me. The whole stand thing reminds me of Pokemon or some shit.
What's with that compression?
There are people in this very thread that don't know how Jotaro dies.
Speaking of Part 5
This is really good. Are you the same drawfag from yesterday?
What was your favorite antagonist? I really liked both Funny Valentine and Kira. I thought FV's motives weren't necessarily evil as much as they were deluded, and I liked Kira because of his lack of ambition. He just wanted to chill out and kill people every now and then, there wasn't some grand scheme to take over the world or anything.
Also both of their fights kicked ass.
nice, but the proportions look kinda off. One thing that helps me with that problem a lot is comparing the size of one thing you're drawing to another- think things like how big a character's eyes or hands should be in relation to the rest of themselves
Does anyone really like Dio? His whole being shoehorned in at the end of sbr kinda got a mixed reaction from me. It was cool to see the world again, but at the same time it felt like pandering. I think it would have been better if it just ended with Valentine's death.
my problem with Dio and Kars is that it's hard to understand their motivation. Dio essentially wanted to be a huge dick to the Joestars, and later decided he wanted to rule the world, and Kars just wanted to be god and rule the world. I think all the other antagonists goals are just too unrelatable. Fuck even Pucci wanted a paradise at least.
Well I liked Dio in every part he was in actually. Mostly cause The world was such a fun fight and wanting to see him die is what kept me going through part 1. It was pretty funny seeing him freak out before becoming a dinosaur in sbr though, but Funny Valentine really takes the cake in that part.
One page before that.
I'm sorry to say this, but your friends are faggots.
Well, they've interacted enough for fujoshis to ship them. If the brief sumo conversation during the wheel of fortune is anything to go by then fujoshi's are probably shipping them based on their interests and personality.
Araki has stated that, at least for part 5, eroticism is ultimately a visual theme for the series, but doesn't really consider most, if any, of the characters to be homosexual, because he just didn't think deep enough into their interpersonal relationships to designate them.
He preferred to off himself than to endure the tortures that were most assuredly coming his way.
It isn't translated.
It always amazes me how much quality and effort goes into doujins. You never get shit like this for western shows and the ones you do get are always shitty.
I always thought Giorno wanted the gang to change their ways (like stopping drug dealing, protecting people and whatnot). Be something like an Italian Robin Hood. I might have imagined that.
He did want to change the gang, but to do that he planned on hopping on with Bruno, getting close to the boss, then overthrowing him. If Bruno and his boys didn't turn out to be as cool as they were, Giorno would have certainly offed them at some point.
Part one Dio was a run-of-the-mill shonen antagonist, except with an even more mediocre plan, though you might argue that living peacefully with a large fortune is better than conquering the world. In part 3, Dio has either mentally ascended or became completely insane (100 years alone in a coffin at the bottom of the ocean helped); this is made more evident in part 6. However, in the original continuity, EVERY villain desires the same thing as Dio, if you look at it properly. It's peace of mind, as Dio so clearly reveals to Polnareff. Standing at the top of the food chain, ruling the world, eliminating witnesses of your crimes, erasing information about existence and, finally, heaven and the precognition gained with universal resets, all work toward no unceirtainty, no fear, no opposition. So you see, the motivation is, arguably the same, you just didn't like the way Araki presented it in certain parts, and you're right about that, even Araki himself confirms your thoughts by retconning Dio from part 3 in part 6.
those pastel colours are perfect for Jojolion
Question to anons that have followed Jojo while the part is still ongoing, do you often go back and reread stuff so you can remember small details you may have forgotten?
I realised the other day that there are a few things about Jojolion that I keep forgetting, and so I feel that I need to reread the whole thing again.
>Jose Joaquin maldito bastardo!
Who has the best subs for the new season?
I haven't started yet but already downloaded the Commie release. I'm not sure about it but it seems kinda like there won't come much when I wait for them to catch up.
Why people in my country is so stupid?
>pet in the wrong place
>your hand explodes
I suppose this is tangentally related, what musical genre does BLOODY STREAM fit into?
Doing good typesetting takes time. Also where did Commie get the subtitles from? HS is "borrowed" from Crunchyroll.
What kind of censorship would you rather have happen? Have Kakyoin feed the baby shit but everything is blacked out or have him feed it something else like a scoop of dirt or sand instead?
Don't bully Polnareff
Okay very funny now post the real one
at least post the translated version
Stop right there maggot, she's my wife
I don't understand that language, but I laughed. Thank you for sharing, anon.
Do any of you have that picture of Dio done in this style?
>The whole stand thing reminds me of Pokemon or some shit.
Well if the Simpsons movie was okay with showing Bart's junk, I'm sure there's a good chance Polnareff /ss/ won't be. This is considering Japan is more open to these kinds of things than America.
japan doesn't care about naked little boys, they're just "being boys"
if japan's making an effort to clean up lolicon wank material and it's jotaro's fucking underage smoking that gets seen as a pressing issue, it's safe to say there are no qualms about airing somebody feeding a baby its own ass candy, remember it is not exactly ass candy.
they've shown a semi nude preteen girl, why not shit.
>Polnareff above Oldseph
>"Warudo" (????), of "The World"/"Za Warudo", may be pronounced in Japanese as Waldo. In Chapter 251: Dio's World (5), Waldo can be seen flying through the air after Dio forces Senator Phillips to drive through a crowd
I wonder if the anime will show waldo
yare yare daze...
Makes me want to kill myself.
Maybe Avdol is sitting in some alternate universe with no arms.
So...what the fuck was Legolas doing in Morioh?
Will part 9 be set in
Has anyone in the thread got one of these? Would it look tacky to someone who didn't get the reference?
>Avdol sitting in the void plane alone
>His arms are unattached and sitting next to him
>No words, just staring off into the endless void
>in the middle of reading part 5
>"haha what a kidder, Jotaro never died."
>realize he was in the intro to part 5
>realize he's still liable to death
>implying it didn't already happen
Can you find him?
ah, Me and my friend have discussed this. Alucard would win because:
1. Dio is not human; therefore he can not beat him.
2. Even Pre-Schro Alucard is still retartedly OP.
he has a fucking army inside of him
I think a better fight would be Za Wardo DIO and Alexander Anderson. Fucking Knives and Bayonets EVERY WHERE!
What about Alucard vs. Kars?
the katakana for her name is how the french fashion brand she was named for is pronounced. air-mez
that and the people who run the wiki are mentally challenged
