hey guys, I was getting really tired of exhentai's shit, so me and my buddy decided to make a new reader site. we've got most all of ex's english/japanese manga and doujins, its completely open, you dont have to post on a faggy forum or mine for pony points to unlock basic features(you can have as many favorites as you want, all thumbs are displayed on the same page), and we have a download feature coming soon. best of all it isnt run by an obnoxious ponyfag.

thanks guy, I looked into it a while back, and it isn't anything to do with government/dmca/laws, all the content hosted is legal. he moved the content to exhentai because his advertisers or somebody complained about the content years ago.

Inability to rename galleries is a dealbreaker. Words cannot express how much I like having descriptive titles, with convention, Romanji, English, comic source, etc. Most people are fucking awful at properly titling galleries, and I can fix that on sadpanda, but not this site.

Looks pretty good so far, and I like that it's an anon doing it. Just make sure to not become the next Fakku/Jacob.

From what I can see, ponyfag is either lying about his setup and hosting costs, or these are the result of a grossly grossly grossly inefficient system. Hosting static content is the most solved fucking problem in all of web development. e-hentai was created in 2005, and at the time I can see how making a botnet to mitigate costs would make sense because space/bandwidth was extremely expensive. in 2014 we have free CDNs and affordable servers with beastly specs.

There's nothing like that in doujins, that level of detail and emotion. Furthermore, I find that Game CG often involve more characterization and high-quality art. Game-CG are very powerful IMO.

Perhaps adding the option to separate gallery tags based on sex would be nice, but I think people have already said that.

You said you'll be adding support for raws, game CGs, etc soon, right? If you want to create a complete backup of the panda I think you should definitely do that.

Also, how are you uploading new content to the site? Is it done by a select group of users or will you be allowing anyone to upload? You said it was completely open so I assume it's the latter. If that's the case then you should add some form of quality control, maybe a report function. How you prevent this from being abused is kind of an issue though I guess.

I don't like it one bit. Ignoring some possible worst case/dooms day scenarios, a likely long term outcome is Fakku simultaneous or quickly releasing X-Eros and other Wani magazines in English.

These will probably be on torrents, but not on Sad Panda.

Meanwhile, scanlators won't bother doing their own releases for Wani stuff because people will just read the Fakku stuff on torrents.

Since magazine stuff also ends up in tanks, Fakku would also release future tanks pretty easily.

I think it's safe to assume Fakku will try to get their own translations off ExHentai. I mean, I think Wani would not sit well with giving Fakku uncensored scans and letting them release English translations for them, only to have them be complicit in them being pirated.

As for the Japanese raws, I have no idea. Overall, I think it's safe to say that it'll always be a possibility, and be on the whims of the publisher whether Fakku pursues raws or not.

pururin uses cloudflare and hosts loli+guro content, and they use like 3 ad networks + JList affiliate, nobody cares. When we get some decent traffic we can hopefully get some ads going(they wont be intrusive and you can always block them if they bother you that much, but we will lose revenue). also DMCA are a joke if you are outside the US, you can just ignore them(though we will probably honor them if the artists themselves send them, don't give a shit about Jacob from fuckku or anyone else, they can go stick their head in a dick).
