A bit guilty but overall like it was for the best. She's trying not to overthink it or get too involved, it's for the best kind of thought. She's pretty convicted about it overall and has a bit of difficulty in convincing herself that it was the best choice. Kind of an odd situation, but it seems you'll have the opportunity to be shaped by your environment more than expected. Increasing your IQ isn't exaaaactly possible, but you can make the best of what you already have. Find out where you were lacking on the test and see if you can't hone those skills. If both of the tests you took were by licensed testers, then the information is probably accurate and you can see clearly where you were lacking.
That being said, I always go off on a rant that IQ seriously isn't that big of a deal. Unless you're hoping to go to grad school for something like mathematics or physics or mentally retarded, your IQ isn't that important for everyday life. I mean, what are you? What is your career?
