My memory is a bit fuzzy on this one but I swear it existed. Around 2005 there was a short-lived childrens' anime series called "Cotter Pot". It was named after Harry Potter but there was no relation at all. It was basically a take-off of Pinocchio but with a little girl plastic doll who wants to be human. It wasn't a popular series, but somehow it got leaked into a few schools in Japan and in one of the schools was the uncut version. Cotter Pot was actually a lolicon movie but this version was never supposed to be released. The weird thing is that while the kids were freaked out the adults still thought it was a good quality film despite its graphic lolicon scenes, but decided to shelve it. I don't recall which school actually had it or even if they still possess it. Anyway, word is the creator of Cotter Pot eventually quit producing anime, either hiding from society in shame or killing himself. Nobody has heard from him since and nobody to this day knows what the fuck I'm talking about, but I swear I seen clips of the anime on some Japanese forums. The animation of the Pinocchio girl looked similar to pic related. I recall a specific scene where she was still a plastic doll naked sitting on her maker's desk and had a round hole between her legs. Her maker stuck a plastic pole inside her, she got wet and slowly came to life. There were other clips of weird fantasy creatures on a pirate ship as well, but that's all I remember.
