Can we just have one thread for this?

http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2015/11/07/residents-report-seeing-strange-light-over-california-sky/

So is it a missile or not? I've seen conflicting reports on this.

504 reporting in, I keep hearing mumbling voices from the windows, and I live a peaceful subs area yet keep hearing police sirens.

Literally right now I'm hearing strange noises yet see nothing

>>
951 we couldn't see the head/source. All we saw was a bright bluish green light illuminating the sky. It rose a little and then just faded away.
>>
>>16945052
Is it still visible?
>>
there is a thread on /b/ saying that Scotland and India are reporting the same thing
>>
>>16945066
Nah it's way long gone. I didn't notice the time it went away but it was gone by 6:15 so it must've happened around 6.

lets assume the Air Force story is true. that means our military conducts missile tests over highly populated areas if your American. and if you are European recall those Norway spirals a couple years back? They are testing over your cities too. In fact theres been a hell of a lot of objects that went unidentified around the world which look JUST LIKE THIS. Now theres been missile tests conducted all the time. But why are they suddenly within sight of populated areas? why not test somewhere more secluded, and more importantly, safer than this?

now lets assume the story is bullshit. Well you can figure out the amount of other possibilities on your own.

either way stuff is going on that deserves our attention.

thanks for the post OP
>>
Calm the fuck down, people. We get these in southern NM with White Sands Missile Range nearby. Missile tests happen over populated areas more often than you would think.

>>
>>16945189
excuse me. i said air force when i meant Navy/Coast Guard
>>
>>16945189
This is because the Navy was testing a missile launch from a submarine. It goes without saying that, by virtue of the fact that submarines are in the ocean, the missile would have to cross coastal areas, which are heavily populated.
>>
>>16945261
then why not do it between cali and Hawaii where, you know? there aren't cities with millions of people nearby?
>>
>>16945213
this shit has never been seen across THREE states though, and it didn't even move for 20 minutes.
>>
I'm from southern California and while I didn't see it personally, I have a bunch of friends Facebook that saw it and/or are posting pictures. I'm honestly a little upset that I missed it - UFO or missile test it would have been cool to see.
>>
>>16945265
Do you know where China Lake is? You might not believe this, but there's quite a bit of testing that takes place very close to Greater L.A., and few of it is visible. The only reason why you're freaking out is because you can see it, but nevermind that clues for this was announced in the news well in advance. HELLO, flights were being diverted from LAX for a secret mission. Does spelling it out for you not have any impact on your brain?
>>
>>16945274
These have been seen from White Sands Missile Range as far as Flagstaff, AZ, Texas and northern Mexico. This isn't the first time. Jesus, and I used to enjoy browsing /x/. FUUUUUCK
>>
>>16945297
just about to post that LAX was told in advance so they could divert flights.

I was going to say that I've seen about six or seven of these launches during my time in California, and it's old news to us older idiots. Then I remembered this is /x/, and not a real thread.

Carry on.

USAF fag here and amateur UFO researcher in my spare time:

I'd be bet my bottom dollar you're looking at a launch from Vandenberrg AFB.

I did missile telemetry systems training out there, and Vandenberg has some really, really interesting mission groups there including the 30th space wing.

I'm fuck man, I watched a launch of an Atlas rocket carrying some kind of classified payload (assuming a satellite) for the NRO while I was there.

Looking at the pics shown, that's my guess unless it's something the Navy launched off the shoreline. Never trust those swabbies.

You know nothing.
Everything you think you know are just based off related constructs.
Everything you haven't seen, heard or experienced first hand is just things you "read in a magazine or newspaper/website". "Heard from teacher, newscaster on radio or tv, acquainted people, websites." "Seen on tv, magazine, newspaper or internet."
None of us actually know anything, we're all just accepting what we're told as if it were fact, and repeat it to others as if were fact.

I am Canadian. . .
Oh. . Um. . . "EH."
That is what Americans think we all say right? Anyway. I have an American co-worker and when I asked her about the biggest differences between our two countries she said "the news."
So much news broadcasted in the US is heavily edited, censored or just not included regarding any and all national and international events. But in Canada every detail is talked about without taking sides. It already showed up on my local news station and the weather network.

"EH."
BTW we don't say eh, I've never seen an igloo, a moose or a mountie. Hockey sucks.
