Hey /x/, I wanted to have a good 'unsecured ip camera' thread so here's some good info on finding them I got from the archive.
>inb4 "not paranormal"
If you've been on this board for more than six months, you'll know cam threads are a staple here. Search chip-chan in google for proof of how great these can be.
HOW IT WORKS:
Simply put the IP links provided into your browser. If you are using chrome/firefox, follow the "server push" link and enter the credentials provided. In order to hear audio, and interact via microphone (which can be epic as fuck) you will need to use Internet Explorer and enable your activex in the browser security settings. This is highly recommended for shits and giggles.
>ALL CAMS ARE "admin/no password" UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED.
Instructions on how to find your own cam links will be in the next post.
In order to find unsecured cam links, go to http://www.shodanhq.com.
The query to enter in the search field begins with "netwave ip camera". This will give you five pages of search results in reverse date order. I highly recommend signing up for a free account, which will give you more results and will also give you search filters to play with so you can search by city, country and even find cams near you.
A paid account gives you unlimited searches and filters. i have one, and i can't recommend it enough. It also gives you credits to use around the site on things which i haven't even figured the fuck out yet.
Now, onto the filters. First go to http://www.iso.org/iso/country_names_and_code_elements . This will give you the two digit code for all countries which will come in handy next. To search by country use the query:
>"netwave IP camera country:XX"
Where "xx" is the two digit code of your choice. To search certain cities, which gets real interesting, use the query:
>netwave IP camera city:"city"
where "city" is, obviously, the city of your choice.
You will find that many cams have been left with a default user, which nine times out of ten is admin with no password. Some may be admin/123 or even admin/admin. It is quite laborious to search, but i think you'll find highly worth it as you have the choice of whether to share them, or keep them to yourself.
A couple more important things: first be patient. Some cams take a while to load, particularly if there is more than one user trying to access them at once. They may also take longer if they are on the other side of the world from you. If you get a blank screen or it seems like it is loading forever, try closing the browser and trying again, or simply come back to it later.
Secondly, if you are worried at all about your IP being logged, EVERY SINGLE CAMERA has a reset option which will completely flush the IP log. Experience tells me, however, that if peole are too retarded to put a password on their camera, they are in no way capable enough of even accessing the settings of their cam, let alone knowing what the fuck an IP log is. I tend not to worry about this too much, but i get asked it alot. You will find the reset in settings/maintenance, depending on the model of camera.
Oh, you WILL come across cams that are in the rooms of sleeping babies (especially in the USA). I can't stop you, but i don't post these. I think that crosses a line personally, but each to their own.
OP is a faggot so I'll take over his shitty thread.
Use shodan.io not shodanhq.com
It's their newer site and they no longer update the old one. make a free account to use search filters and view upto 5 pages of results per search.
There is also a way to force the cams to give you login credentials which I can make a tutorial for if needed.
Also if you troll baby cams then make sure you use proxies/VPNs.
Read the news and you'll see why. Yes the cams wipe the IP log when you click reboot but you can't exactly reboot ir when an angry parent rips it off the wall. Next time it's turned on your IP can be viewed.
Tutorial to get the cam login.
>Note: Works best on cams near to you.
What you will need:
>uGet Download manager
Step 1: Use Shodan.io to find a secured cam as described above.
Step2: If the basic login won't work then we will force the cam to give the login.
Step 3: In your browser go to the IP address of the cam you want to gain access to.
Step 4: Add //proc/kcore to the end of the IP address.
If this starts to load a wall of text then press stop on the browser.
Step 5: copy that whole address including the //proc/kcore and paste it as a new download in uGet. This will download it as a file.
Mfw it's legal in my country unless you crack the password.
Step 6: once the download reaches between 4 and 5MB press pause. You only need this first part of the file and it will never complete if left to download the full 16MB.
Step 7: You now have part of the cams RAM contents downloaded, containing the login. Open the kcore file with Notepad++.
Step 8: Click Search, Find, and search for one of the following:
The device name (as seen in the browser header)
Step 9: There will be multiple results but one will have the login displayed next to it so keep looking through. (sometimes around the 6th or 7th search result)
Step 10: Rick Astley.
In admin settings there should be an option for Reboot Device
Look under each option til you find it. Click it, then when it say's Rebooting Device with the count down close the page.
You're too far away from the cam.
Try another that's closer to you.
The speed of downloading the kcore file is affected by the route it has to take between the cam and you. Basically if it can't get between 4 and 5MB in 2 minutes then it won't download.
No Worries buddy.
The way I see it is if I show more people how to do this then the more cams will be trolled and shown to be insecure. Cam owner fixes the security issue and you get some laughs out of it.
Messed around with one inside some Korean guys house until he went over to the camera and tried to see what was wrong with it. Busted, I guess.
People have been using google to search for IP cameras for years. People spreading viruses are aware of this and create landing pages that get indexed by Google and might even be designed to look like IP cams but are actually just pages for executing some type of browser exploit and infecting your computer. Happened long ago when I was young and bored enough to think creeping on IP cams was a fun way to pass time.
> If you've been on this board for more than six months, you'll know cam threads are a staple here.
Actually, if you've been here longer than 6 months you'll know that IP Cameras are newfaggoted spam that date back to Summer of 2011.
Been recording almost every single time I have connected to this camera.
Had it for a few weeks now. It's in an office building complex I think. Near an industrial site.
I have seen people in the building only once. They looked like builders. I do have access to a speaker on this camera so I spoke some German and one guy just stared at the camera and carried on working.
I don't want to give the cameras address away but here are some pics from today. It's raining.
When I first got into the camera I had 100% control over the settings due to it being the admins account. Since then the account I've been connecting to is a user account so I lost a lot of privileges. It's a very decent camera too. HD streaming, 360 degree turning.
There is a bike in this room, which hasn't moved for weeks.
Looks like they're about to grab Liam Nesson's family members.
Excuse me, it's the poster again. I accidentally fucked up and the woman noticed so that the camera is moving. If you want any (working) ip to crack, just post it as a respond to this.
What the fuck, just login on www.shodan.io
netwave IP camera country:DE (example)
copy an ip that works and give it here. It's literally the easiest thing.
I am CRACKING the passwords, if they aren't admin admin or something.
The pinnacle of human existance
126.96.36.199:8080 is a family. They just had the grandparents over to celebrate a birthday. I was so happy to share that moment with them. Also the mom is kinda hot.
188.8.131.52:8080 Is some fat bitch. she just kept eating and eating. Idk what shes doing now.
It's creepy in that it's her laptop cam showing her face point blank as she surfs... rapid eye movement madness
Had a lot more IPs but yeah. I dont have all passwords listed but most of them are blank, admin or 12345/6.
http://184.108.40.206/ admin 123456
There you go, niggers.
YUCK.... Frenchie is picking her nose and then playing with it.
Been picking her nose for the longest time
What have you done to me 4chan!!???
I have naked old guy getting off on the camera moving on one screen, and nose picking girl on the other.
looks like he set an actual password once the camera started going bonkers, probably wanted to stand up and not have his wang and face snapped in screenshot and plastered everywhere
I went on that link and this is what I got.
Does anyone want to raid his safe?
And nosepicking girl has covered herself with a green blanket and is watching TV... I'm going to have to abandon her as the nosepicking, cuticle chewing, and fidgeting with her neck is just getting too gross.
Some restaurant. Its got a two way speaker so we can have some fun
I'm sorry to break the news to you, but 2011 was four years ago. I mean, it still seems like newfag shit to me, too, but then again, so does most of the shit posted on this board. You gotta roll with the times, man.
any browser should work, but you have to make sure you're putting in the right port number after the IP (eg 127.0.0.1:8080 where 8080 is the port) or it won't be connecting to the cam service
Rain should come, and wash it all clean...
>/x/ has always been /b/ 2.0. It's been "turning into /b/" since 2009.
Could you possibly sound more cancerous?
It's like this because faggots like you are literally just /b/tards enabling one another and reinforcing your own collective shitposts instead of discussing on-topic material. If you wanted /x/ to be a paranormal board you would just discuss paranormal shit, but it's obvious you actually do want this to be /b/ 2.0. You should promptly kill yourself.
Oh for fuck sake. Guess I should be used to it, seen CP stay up a full day on here before
Alright, just gonna have to filter this shit

Please hone in on the following highlighted objects:
Red Arrow: What the- what kind of wiring is that?!
Green Arrow: What is the deal with that street marking? If it's not a street marking then why is it so shape-like and perfect like that?!
Yellow Circle: Why is that so black?!
Blue Square: Is that a little dog?!
Old white dude, if someone wants to scare him I'll stick around
people are moving around, good for spookin
Fucking Skinwalker scared the hell out of me
Was calling the mods more in response to the thread in general than that post, but that one was unique in showcasing how completely /b/tarded this thread has become. This thread which really had nothing paranormal being discussed in it from the beginning.
Someone is home now. Wandering around. Dog following him.
Holy shit this is the creepiest one so far. And I just realized that paning the camera makes a vibrating noise. After a few seconds later a boy entered the room from North, stopped a second, looked at what I think is the camera, and walked upstairs. I hope that is not a loud noise because just a few minutes ago I randomly clicked to a link and I was in a house at night. I decided to pan the camera and camera just went crazy on me. It turned 360, stopped, then spinned some more. I rebooted device from the settings but I hope they didn't caught my log info.

For anyone who is interested, i copied al of the IPs into one text document.
Went on a cafe looking place before, moved the cam around and hit a wall. When I moved back around there was a customer looking up at the cam and someone who looked like a manager on the phone looking up too. spoopy
Not fancy or unusual, just more personal, I guess. But I think you're right.
I have had people tell me that my house is like something out of a fairy tale or something, full of interesting, strange things to look at. I guess that is just me, lol.
>Am I over-analyzing things or does her breathing seem weird? It's fucking heavy to me.
The fact that she's always in a robe and is VERY phlegm plagued makes me wonder if she's bed-bound by illness. Could explain why they have a cam on her all the time, in case she has a seizure, or starts choking, or decides to bare her huge pendulous breasts with areolas the size of paper plates. I'm just saying.
It's almost 1:00am in France, where her IP says she is. Could be turning in for the night.
>why this stuff is anywhere online?! Can't they set up a private feed and never let it go online?!
Yeah! People should set up cameras then run a physical hard line cable from the camera to their smartphone and never have it access the internet at all.
Yeah a half hour after I found it, Looked around abit and got bored of staring at plants. It was one of the winnipeg webcams, you can probably find it if you search netwave IP camera country:"ca" city:"winnipeg" on shodan
Goddamn this is making me realize how passive my life is.
I mean I already knew I'm a lazy piece of shit who just sits on their ass all day browsing shit on a laptop, but seeing other people do the same gives it a new perspective.
She hasn't done anything since i started watching.
I only wonder what does she do before dinner, cause afterwards she looks to the laptop, puts on pyjama at 23 o'clock, and keeps looking the laptop.
She isnt always in a robe, and yes, the breathing.
Maybe she's got a cold
person seems to be sleepwalking
>Be telecom employe
>See this thread
>Let's give it a try
>Locate people in my city on my my network with shodan
>Cross reference IPv4 / equipment info with backend
>Not only do I have the cams, I know where they live.
Good thing I'm not an asshole. Was thinking of calling them up to let them know but I've heard too many stories of the coming back and fucking you.
