Well, I found that the ,true, anonymity of the Internet at that time made people feel much safer showing off their depravity.

The closest thing to a "snuff" film i've ever seen was a man strapped in a chair and getting tortured by a guy shoving ling needle- like rods through his nose. I doubt it was a snuff film in the sense that someone was hired to make it, but the content seemed fucking snuffy enough.

Ok so if we decide that snuff films are filmed and planned, for profit, and have someone murdered well, I'm not sure if I've ever heard of that existing.
