I was watching transmissions on the USAF High Frequency Global Communications System for SKYKINGs, the emergency action messages, then this happened.
It was a regular message, not even a SKYKING (the more they say SKYKING SKYKING DO NOT ANSWER the higher the message priority is; 4x SKYKINGs is like a DEFCON level raise), but at the end a LOUD (i was closely listening and it hurt my ears so bad) transmission overrode it and i can't make sense of it, looks like a digital or video signal or something. I don't know. Can anyone help out?
>UVB-76 goes silent
Maybe someone was trying to jam the signal or something, fuck if I know.
Also what a shitty job it would be to be the announcer for a numbers station that uses real people and not recorded voices. That guy sounds so fucking bored by his job.
It sounds like whoever transmitted this was waiting for the air force transmission to end and started broadcasting right after; so the people who were taking the message would still be listening
Look up mmsstv, that's what I use
However, it needs it's own special file type to play, and converting it to that in audacity slows it down because fuck me that's why. I also need to figure out what it's encoding is.
1. go here http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/
2. enter frequency you want to hear
There's a lot of weird shit on the radio waves, also lots of international radio stations that are quite interesting
I think I got the wrong freq, but it's close enough.
Looking like a ruse guis.
Ignore the shit in the corner, I forgot how to pull it up larger
It's a ruse unless it really is the jews.
I was on sync instead of rx.
MUCH clearer pic of the rusemaster now.
mmsstv guy here.
Both of the pictures were decoded from the transmission.
Pic related it's the program.
It's not hacking; they just transmitted on 8992kHz. From what i know of ham radio; this is basically a deathwish. Whoever did this had access to some good gear; because it is LOUD
Basically there are designated frequencies for amateurs to broadcast on. You need a permit to do that; and if you do illegal things you are in deep, deep shit; namely getting v&.
This is basically a pirate radio transmission, and what i meant by good gear is that either the pirate transmitter was right next to the antenna of the webSDR of the website; or they had an ungodly strong transmitter.
haha saying the word liar in many languages with merchant pic on an emergency broadcast network. Whoever did this is kekking so hard right now I bet.
Anyone want to make a /pol/ thread?
haha oh wow
this is some level of trolling I didn't even know existed.
/pol/ here, not likely to happen. most level headed people on /pol/ (its not an oxymoron for everyone there, just a lot) don't care for /x/
personally, i've only ever browsed /x/ a few times, mainly for creepy threads, and one which was about some mystery /x/ was trying to solve
A lot of the tripfags have kind of scattered for now, besides the occultism threads, and those are fairly self-contained and /x/ related anyway. A year ago it was horrific.
More like whatever's left of true Anonymous.
Most likely a part of the current OpSaveGaza operation that is ongoing towards Israel due to their war in Gaza.
Hilarious it's our board signature the Happy merchant, could potentially be a /pol/ack, almost everyone on /pol/ hates jews.
If so i hope the person/persons are smart enough not to brag about it here.
Why does 4chin always claim things like this as it's own?
That image is fucking years old and even chat sites from all around the world (as an example) use MAYMAYS as god damn emoticons.
Thinking this came from /x] or /pol/ is simply retarded.
it's impossible to transmitt this powerfull without powerfull equipment. if it's legit, someone probably rented a eastern european antenna, but it's expensive as fuck and mostley they refuse to broadcast on licensed or known military used frequencies.
Also, still mad about this: Was listening to North Korean radio on that site, really good tune came on. Fuck knows what it was called though, can't find it on youtube or describe it any more.
I'll probably never find it again. ;-; Dear leader save me!
I'm going through every fucking frequency. From 1 to however high it goes. I am currently going at 25 per swipe. At 3700 now.
I noticed a ton of russian and one ukrainian channel markers at 3594.
Holy fuck, thank you for letting us know this exists.
Of course anyone who has listened to a lot of shortwave broadcasts would realize the audio is completely fake, voices do not sound like that...fake fucking reverb slapped on and if you'll note the voice never changes pitch or volume along with the background noise, something that frequently happens when receiving a shortwave signal. The drifting signals create a very unique sound which the OP wasn't able to recreate.
mmsstv guy here, just felt the need to say that the original image was quite slanted, and I had originally fixed it before posting. pic related
Its some guy running software that streams his shortwave radio receiver. I think its in Europe.
It's perfectly legal, there's a huge community of radio enthusiasts out there. As for finding cool stations, just browse around, after a while you get a feel for what voice/morse/random static looks like and its easy to pick out things that look interesting. Or you can go to the khz that people post here and check it out.
try this: http://websdr.org/
Most of the other webSDR sites don't have as much of a range as the main one, but you can still get some interesting stuff nearby where you live, if you pick the right site.
Start off with downloading foobar2000 and Pirating virtual audio cable. Pirating it is important or else you get "trial" every 10 seconds. Open the audio file in foobar and go to the area before the broadcast starts, leave it paused for now. Open audio repeater (MME) that came with virtual audio cable set wave in to line 1, and wave out to your speakers. (or headphone jack) In foobar go to library>configure>playback>output>device and set it to line 1 as well. Now you should be able to open mmsstv and hit play on foobar. Be sure that you have mmsstv set to auto detect, as it should automatically detect the encoding to be scottie 1 Have fun getting the same picture I did.
they are sending varios images
>almost everyone on /pol/ hates jews.
Pol/lock here. I don't hate-hate them. But yea they are singularly responsible for an unimaginable amount and degree of absolutely horrendous cruelties against humanity. Unimaginable.
If you haven't taken the redpill on this yet:
That's where you start.
Guys its a troll. Most of the sstv signals I've decoded have a lot of static, while the merchan image that was decoded only has a few lines of static.
I'm 100% sure that whoever recorded this just played the audio file off his computer while he was recording the SKYKING.
Yes, we got trolled, and it was funny. But that's it, there's no "bigger picture" or "hacking" of the USAF frequency.
Thats what modern day academia is all about, trying to convince others you are superior.
See ever since science became a 'thing' for the retarded commoners they have been using it as a stepstool for status even though they are just morons with degrees.
The real genius scientists were unemployed rich people who spent all their time dicking around and not worrying about funding.
well its either a video or audio signal or it a message encoded into the radio transmission and the repeatable looping sounds are a mathematical reference tyo base the interpretation of the non-looping parts or frequencies of the transmission or it just could be noise from a natural phenomenon form outer space perhaps such as an asteroid impact in space generating the strange signal or the Sun generating the signal because of natural phenomenon
>Oh, it looks like sstv
>Heres the sstv I decoded
SAMEFAG OMG THIS GUY POSTED LIKE 3 TIMES WHILE HE FIGURED OUT HOW TO DECODE SOMETHING,
HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT
Did anyone else just hear that one? I recorded most of it, is it still possible to decode?
Here's my recording, I was getting it in really clear, the guy must've amped up the power
Yes that definitely sounds like a radio transmission
3/10 for effort
as soon as i heard this it reminded me of the radio messages in portal (the video game from valve) that decoded to images
i'll try to get that running and see what it pops out
apparently the thing for portal was SSTV
guys this might be serious
i finally got my SSTV software working and played OPs recording into it.
at first it was doing nothing, so i thought "this is either a bad recording or OP is having a little joke"
then BAM! pic related pops up in the window.
this is likely only the last 1/3 to 1/4 of the picture, and i'll try again and hopefully get more of it.
got a better picture this time.
it appears to be a picture of a bearded man rubbing his hands together. additionally, there appears to be some symbol to his right, colored blue.
so the only question remaining is whether OP is havin a li'l giggle, someone on /pol/ is havin a lil giggle, or this is a real illuminati/zionist message
ur havin a lil giggle thar m8
made a good test for my software though, so really i should thank you
