All you know about the djinn

I learned from wikipedia.
You evidently think we know something not included there. I can't imagine why you'd think that.

They don't exist
Created through alchemy or a primordial remnant from Origin.
did anything happen with this?
just asking because i keep trying to see how many numbers i can find that can only be factored down to 4 prime numbers with 11+ digits, 1, and itself, and i dont know how rare that is but i know i can't find any with any of my calculators
>did anything happen with this?
It's a post number. No, nothing happened with it.

>be me
>goes to the bathroom in a hotel
>uses the bathroom

can you give me a tldr version?
would it benefit or harm society if reincarnation was proven to be a real phenomenon?
think in terms of the classical indian model from hinduism and buddhism: a beginningless, endless cycle of rebirths that is interminable unless one strives for liberation (moksa) or extinction (nirvana).
by convincing people that reincarnation is not real, by convincing them that all life ends at death, or that we have but one life and a vague monotheistic afterlife forever after, it guarantees that everyone gets reincarnated.
more people being reincarnated, reproducing, reincarnating, etc... more worker drones for the system.
so, is (((science))) suppressing proofs of reincarnation due to economic vested interests? why would you want everyone becoming disillusioned with life and dropping out like buddhas?

People would have to start to caring about the crushing poverty in 3rd world countries.

Increase in crime, suicide and carelessness.
Why bother if we can just re-roll into better conditions?
>>19530656
karma. you don't randomly roll a better life. you get what you deserve based on your intentional actions.

what?
>>19530618
Dude, you messed it up you are supposed to use an ascii to binary converter and convert the url to binary then post it. Way spoopier. Also, add like some really hard to see short footage of something vague happening. I dunno like a shakey camera looking down a road at night. There doesn't actually have to be anything in the road but people will spend 5 minutes trying to see the thing that surely must be there.
That way the next time you use your cell phone to record yourself peeing into a toilet and then slow it down in Audacity or whatever it will actually make newfreinds shit pants a little.
2/10 better luck next time.
>>19530618
Yeah, I gotta say I've seen you post a few of your videos on here recently and they're not particularly interesting or convincing. Very generic. Maybe try taking a different, more unique approach.

Doing a little book shopping later day. Recommendations that I can find in say a Barnes & Noble?
I work at a Barnes and Noble in PA. Don't support such a shitty franchise. Go scan your local book store.
>>19530545
There's a small mom&pop book store near me. I'll check there first
i really liked Majestic by whitley strieber. also sekret machines by tom delonge turned out to be pretty good.
Can we stop doing this? All it does is hurt the community, and I am pretty aure they are shitposters paid by the government to distract us.

There's no moderation on /x/. Only time something gets deleted is when it "hits the nail on the head" so to speak

Also, where's my money then? Oh right...

>I am pretty aure they are shitposters
Yeah.
>paid by the government to distract us.
No.
any of you on /x/ have any ghost stories to tell the newfags?
not sure if it's a ghost story but my mother told me this story
>be me 6yo
>sleeping in the same room as my parents
>woke my mother up cuz i was thirsty
>she tells me to go and get some cuz my father is still awake and watching tv
>thanksfornothingbitch.jpeg
>5mins later my mother wakes up to the sound of me drinking
>asks if i went out for any water
>tell her a man with white sheets gave it to me
>she got pretty distressed so asks my father if i went out for any water
(i can't go to the kitchen without going through the living room where my father was)
>says that i didn't
>mother went back to me but i fell asleep
>next morning questions this incident
>I don't remember anything like that to this day
I don't know sounds pretty cheesy but I wouldn't see a reason for her to lie.
Sorry, only newfags here
Hello /x/,
I haven't been on this board for close to 8 years and it pains me to see it so desolate. For those of you that still frequent this board, let's have a greentext/story thread. For old time sake, random unnerving pictures are welcome too.
>>19530454
Guy fucks off for 8 years and wants to shill old ass creepypastas? No thanks.
There's more important shit happening in the world than some spooky stories, friendo.
Bump, ill contribute when home from work. I've got a whole load of stuff
Why is it that we tend to give items or objects that we're attached to a personality over time and can they really become a 'conscious' or an object with personality?
I've been thinking about the the last few days, and to me it seems that the object we give personality to, cars being a common one, is a sort of tulpa. A thought form that gives the object personality in our minds simply because we think it does.
It reminds me of when I heard about a bunch of neuroscientists conversing with the Dalai Lama and other buddhists on how they define consciousness.
>“I was confronted with the Buddhist teaching that sentience is probably everywhere at varying levels, and that inspired me to take the consequences of this theory seriously,” says Koch. “When I see insects in my home, I don’t kill them.”
I'm wondering what /x/ thinks of this topic. Is it we that give objects consciousness in our minds or are objects inherently able to become conscious themselves. Is it natural to mourn the loss of a 'non-living' object that we have spent a majority of our lives with?

By treating everything with care like they were alive makes your brain create new neurological paths that increase your perception, intellect and intuition. Think of it like Skyrim when ever you do certain tasks your start getting a 6th sense or increase magical powers.
This is done for millennia and its not understood until today. It's not about losing yourself in your surroundings, it's about finding yourself in your surroundings. Think of it in biological terms and not on a esoteric level, you will feel good and realistic about it.
You first need to lift weights before climbing a mountain. How does lifting weights have to do with mountains? It's the same philosophy. You just don't understand now but you will.
Remember Mr Miyagi? Wash on, wash off, suddenly you know kung fu. You have to train your intuition doing non-intuitive tasks.
>>19530691
This makes sense, I acknowledge this way of thinking but have been struggling to execute it. I'm improving my care for my surroundings gradually though.
Free will is an illusion. I have altered your fate.

>I let out my old cat from highschool (R.I.P) and sit back down

>I say "Oh shit it's (cat's name)" and hurry up to try and let him in
>I undo the deadbolt and turn the knob before I look up
>I look up
>It's a fucking doordog
>big as a rottweiler
>try to shove the door closed but it's way stronger than me
>I can feel my real life my heart pounding through the dream

>it turns, and looks at me like :(
>pile drives me in the gut
>it's friendly
>still woke myself up out of adrenaline/fear
spoopy dreams greentext thread!
My grandpa used to own a mask he himself sown. I uses to wear it and do stupid shit around the house. Breaking flower pots, punching plush toys etc. etc.
I'll greentext the rest
>grandpa sees me wearing the mask
>hangs it up on the wall
>i'll make you a new one, leave this ugly one be
>he made me a new one that i wore but i never felt compelled to do things i did with the other one
>i started feeling as if i have to wear the mask
Everyonce in a while i have a sleep paralysis nightmare in which i am in a closed room with no windows no nothing, just a mask that's staring at me. It feels as if it's calling to me, in the dreams it's sucking me in and i try to scream but i can't. Once i'm about an inch from it i always wake up.
My grandpa's house was sold long ago, along with it, the odd mask, i could talk with the owners about the odd mask.
>>19530420
Okay then, RL Stine.
>>19530424
I didin't know who this person was untill i googled it. The mask my grandpa made was like one of those masks of positive emotions except it had a couple of different patterns on.
