while I was on mushrooms yesterday I remember at one point while i was tripping, i felt like i was trapped in a cell. Whatever i was communicating with wouldn't show its face, but i did feel hate and disgust for whatever it was. I remember challenging it and after i did that, it took all my concentration to not get lost. i was forgetting right and wrong, who my family was, etc. i remember it telling me that i was supposed to walk a line and i cannot cross it. i had this feeling like i was about to shatter glass when it said that to me. but just as the glass was about to shatter, my phone rang and brought me back to the present. the call was from my mom but nobody answered when i picked up. after the phone call, i felt this intense feeling of fear and the need for me to get home as soon as possible. what do you guys think about this? anyone have a similar experience?

Ask someone who grew up in a small cult town anything.

some basic stuff about what it was like:
I was born there in 1998, and lived there until I was about 10 or 11. I lived there with my mom, dad and, sister (whom was 6 years older than me) though I also had several cousins and grandparents, ect. that also lived there, and still do. Because it was such a small town everybody pretty much knew each other.

I don't remember much about the the religion it self just that it was extremely ceremonial and strange. Even remember some animal sacrifices that took place.

The town it's self was was extremely isolated and cut off from the rest of the world. The technology there was extremely limited, very few people drove cars, little electricity, and I only remember seeing a television once or twice.

I'm pretty much willing to answer any questions I can but if I feel uncomfortable sharing something or can't I won't, but I'll try.

In about 30 days. For many years, I've tried to study and practice different forms of magic, as well as philosophy and psychology, to try and understand further how such things would be possible.

Part of my thought is, were magic possible (whatever "magic" might be) in "our" world, in human history, that it has been blocked off, that we have been cut off on purpose. I think, if the old ways did work, they won't anymore. The way I think about it, is a magic antivirus, it protects against -known- threats, so in order to continue practicing magic we have to develop new schools.

Now I get to the part about me having a child.

Birth is a unique event, it's not something that can really be "faked" so to speak. It's not something easily mimickable. Every day I drink coffee and waters, substitute the coffee for a can of soda, what's the real difference? It's not something that really matters at all, especially in the short term.

So I am thinking that my daughter's birth would be a particular event in which magic could potentially be harnessed. For what, and how? I have no idea.
