Hi there OP. So my dad passed away when I was in high school about 3 years ago. I was on a camping trip that weekend and he passed early Sunday morning. I found out Sunday evening once I returned (worst day ever btw) and mom said I'm not going to school for the whole week cause of the funeral and stuff. Anyways that night (early Monday morning) I woke up very groggy and out of it. I rolled over to my other side and saw a completed black silhouette/outline of my father. I recognized the body shape and everything and knew it was him. I stared at him for awhile and then turned over and fell asleep. I think i was too tired to realize what was going on. When I woke up the next day, I was sorta creeped that it happened. I believe it was my dad saying his final goodbye cause I was camping that weekend when he passed and I didn't get to say goodbye at the hospital. So in short, if you didn't get to formally say goodbye to your grandfather I'd expect something out of the ordinary. Who knows though, if I was a ghost I'd be scaring people shitless.

The reason all you see is fantasy RPG content is because that's where it came from. The word lich originally meant a corpse, the monster type is based loosely around Koschei the Deathless from Russian legend.

DnD has always tended to be combat heavy, and they early on needed a lot of variety in that department, so they ended up just taking every critter from every folklore they could lay hands on and making each one a different kind of monster. So you have things that were essentially the same thing with different names in different languages having different stats and powers, and often it isn't particularly authentic.

You want to be an undead wizard? Start by being a wizard. Also, you could've found out everything I just told you in ten minutes on wikipedia.

There's some guides out there. They tell you to do reality checks, which isn't very helpful. That's the hard way.

Another hard way is the Wake Induced Lucid Dream method. Go to bed normally, when you wake up in the middle of your sleep, usually around 1 am for me, stay really still in bed with your eyes closed. It may take 15 minutes or longer. If you feel vibrations, continue to stay still. If you're lucky, you will enter a lucid dream, where you realize you are dreaming. It works really easy for some people and not so much for others.

The easy way is to say a mantra every night before you go to bed. Say, "I am dreaming. I am dreaming." Or, "I will lucid dream." If you do this and focus on it before you go to sleep, you may realize you are dreaming without even attempting the WILD method.

Find out which method works best for you.

Be rational when researching, wikipedia is the best place to start. I would avoid other peoples interpretations or systems that "vulgerize" it or not misrepresent it.

Just do good solid resaerch on the genuine writings and work with that.

Enochian is interpreted differently everyone. Its almost looking into a mirror and the mirror looking back and reflects your own views "subconscious".

Some have said the cliche truth that Enochian is potentially dangerous for those that are not mentally grounded and rational.

Everyone has there own mindscapes and visions and "gods and demons" just like the schizophrenic can be lost in there own world.

this is common sleep paralysis. it is absolutely 110% your chance to fight the feelings within.
if you are really so as gifted to have it every night, Then try this.
Sleep paralysis entities are scary, But they cant really do much to you. They just make you like AHH! If you really want to escape sleep paralysis you can flex your eyebrows rapidly, wiggle your toung in your mouth like a weirdo, or try to move your feet and hands. A good method to stop sleep paralysis is hyperventilating. it raises your heartbeat and busts you out. One of these will bust you out. But personaly i suggest you just kinda watch wats going on. Dont be fearful because its not real. I think we are here to face this type of shit, and figure out how to control our dreams.
