While I do believe that aliens exist that aren't demonic it does seem like the abduction phenomenon is based more on demonic entities than on physical ones. Physical aliens would predictably act like us, as they would be intelligent beings like us, just from a different planet. The creatures that abduct people however don't seem to have normal motives, it's not clear what a normal humanoid would gain from these abductions.

Is the flat Earth theory just an attempt for social outcasts to make their life feel more exciting? It's the only explanation I can think of as to why people would believe this.

Hey /x/, newfag here, I've been mildly interested in "magic" if you really call it that, IE. Voodoo and Sigils and such. Infact, 2 or 3 years ago now I was in contact with a person who went by the name "V" very secretive, and I'm still debating if that person was just trolling really hard or if it was actual. Anyways, the story went that he or she was a "Hunter" and hunted "beings" such as demons and whatnot. I never saw a shred of evidence but one day they texted me out of the blue and said, "I'm going out to a very particular area, if I do not text you at EXACTLY 02:30, you need to call this number and tell them where I'm at" well, they included the number and the location, but I never heard from V again. And, I don't know if it was the right move but I didn't call the number either, for fear that it was all fake and I was just being set-up. Anyways, my point here being, I really want to know if these such things really do exist, or if I'm just wasting my time.

My mother joined some sort of "budhist" sect, and not it was not lead by monks, it was led by 2 mature women who were able to "speak with angels". I have no idea how my mother got in touch with them. They had weekly meetings where they taught people about budhism and were told this two women were "white witches" or something like that and they could see some sort of hidden layer of reality and everyone's guardian angel, I think kidna like having their third eye open. My mother got really involved with them and they invited to do "house exorcisms with them". My mom would never tell me about what happened when she went there.
But one time they came to exorcise our home, and this is when it got freaky for me, they had never set foot in my home, and knew things about it they could not possibly know. They went into my room, and said there was a perver entity living there, they scared him away, and year before I used to read silly "occult" books and did some rituals here and there, they knew exactly where I had performed those rituals, and told me portals had been opened there, one was above my bed, and another one was in a wall, no one not even my family knew of this, it was impossible for anyone to know that, so they just scolded me and asked me to never do it again.
Once they were finished they told me about being positive about life, and told me they had a gift for me, some pills that would help me callm down if I ever was in trouble, one of the witched took her hand and placed it over my hearth, and I felt as if something physical had trespassed my chest and left a warm sensation inside of it.
I'm not sure of what is and isn't paranormal, but I think I have a lot to learn.

I am not religious or particularly spiritual in any real way, and I don't really know where else to ask.
I hear people that find a lot of comfort in faith and was wondering if there are any books/works that can point me in the right direction. I live in an area full of atheists who love to tell people who god doesn't exist and so on, and while I don't care what they do or don't believe I'd like to hear if there's a way to actually get BACK into faith from the standpoint of a cynic.

I'm pretty sure I just experienced sleep paralysis.
I woke up around 8 am to piss, I go back to sleep, soon as I get to "dreaming" it felt like cats(fur) were sitting on my face, then it turned to snow. It felt seriously real. Woke up like wtf!? That's not even close to what happened next. I fell back to sleep immediately found myself in a really dark place where I couldn't basically see anything at all and there were multiple people around me(male&female) They were very excited to see me and said my name. I could feel girls picking me up and they were naked because I felt one of the girls boobs and she laughed and said he has a boner lol. Anyway, they were trying to pick me up and take me somewhere to lay down or something and they were literally holding me down. I could feel everything. I was creeped the fuck out so I started to fight them from holding me down so I could wake up and before I woke up I saw some crazy looking face the was red&white&black that looked like a scary fucked up clown mask or some shit. Woke up like WTF!? I was very interested in what happened and I wanted to go back and ask them what was going on or where I was at so I fell asleep again and I was in the same pitch dark place with the people talking to me trying to keep me there again and I said where am I? What's going on? And I'm pretty sure someone said zombie. I immediately woke up, looked at my wall and my wall was moving and there were curved lines everywhere and it was moving like taking 5 hits of acid or something. So were demons trying to have sex with me or what? I read stories kind of similar to this. Should I go back to sleep?

I just fell back asleep again for 2 hours. I found myself in my Aunt's yard(day time) with men and women that looked like the were in their 30's. At this point I had control of myself and I tried to feel up some girls and the next thing I know we're all on a swing or something and I felt a strong pressure on my face in the dream and in person. I looked up in the dream and saw a very dis formed figured blob (buldges and bumps) was only 1 foot tall holding hard pressure with my mouth wide open trying to get inside me. I was like NOPE! Took me a few seconds to wake up.
So what do you guys think? Was a demon trying to get inside of me or what? Do you think it will happen tonight when I go back to sleep?

"Based on a true story" is a Hollywood euphemism. They took a story someone claimed was true, they did nothing to check whether it was, and then they fictionalized the fuck out of it.
You get things like The Amityville Horror and The Haunting in Connecticut. Compare the movies to documentaries on the same events, they might as well not be considered the same stories.
It's no mystery why this happens. The actual story isn't sensational enough. You can go on YouTube and find readings off Reddit, nearly all of them are lame. Nearly got raped, escaped. Had a stalker, they eventually arrested him. Had an accident, almost died. Even if you add supernatural elements, they lived to tell of it.
