My friends and I are summoning a demon tonight on account of it being summer solstice.
Any of you doing anything /x/ related for the solstice?

LOL they are all dead now

Not quite.

Fraid so. All that energy that used to go to them now comes to me. I just redirect it back on you. Without king jerkface keeping your useless society held together it will collapse under its own weight
You motherfuckers tried to kill me and you failed.
Hell is eternal.

Anyone else a bit worried for the future of humanity? We are returning to the most ancient of deities. I forsee a future of cannibalism and the end of science.
The natural retort is that we have built too much now to forget it, we are surrounded by roads and high technology...but I think some war is going to make us forget this...humanity is about to reset.
>>19180826
What exactly do you mean we're flocking to the most ancient of deities? If anything don't most studies show people are either joining/remaining in the Three major religions or going Atheist?
Regardless if they are or not I follow Hellenism so I guess my point could be redundant but It seems like a few vocal minorities worshiping forgotten gods won't affect humanity at all.
>>19180837
There will be a war on Islam soon, and all their books will be burned and remains of the scriptures destroyed. After that Christianity will try to establish itself again, but it will fail because there is a slow return to Paganism since nobody takes Xtianity seriously and the Catholics are all known rapists. The Jews will fall in the battle against Islam.
Literally people are going to forget how to make fire. There will be a huge overpopulation, then because of the scarce wildlife there will be cannibalism, and then a return to a stable population size.
War is coming.
>>19180845
This just seems like a vague and over analyzed "prophecy" at this point. Sure over population is a serious problem, forgetting how to make fire? Returning to cannibalism (A practice not only very rare in any ancient culture or outside the insane)? What's stopping us in going back to a farming species if this doomsday of yours comes true? Who's to say this won't be stopped by divine intervention?
And the war on religion's seems just plain exaggerated. There will always and has always been war on other religions and I can't remember one case in which a war on them succeeded truly. Sure you can kill the followers off but the practices remain and so do the sub conscious beliefs of those who hide it. Religions die to time and culture, not to war.
Best of luck to you when your doomsday hits friend.
I never use the annunciation for "you". It says "u". I never made this folder... anyone have any idea what the fuck is going on?

I don't usually store music on my computer, and today I downloaded a digital album for the first time. My music folder was full of this shit. I opened a few of them and they seem to be old archived wikipedia articles. How the fuck did they get there?
Give it back, Jamal.
>>19179820
I'm serious, man. I have no idea how this shit got onto my computer.
Did you ever hit ctrl s by accident? What's your default save folder? Are you the only one with access to your computer?
how do you explain time cube? no matter how hard i try i can't debunk it, it's impenetrable.
>>19179620
For one, it has no proof to it. At least not real proof beyond a crazy person rambling. But being unable to debunk things does not make those things true, and you know that.
I'm god, prove me wrong. You couldn't. I would have made a baseless claim that I can constantly redefine or shrug off. Same as if I said any other claim. Claims have to be proven, not disproven. Otherwise any half assed claim would be true unless someone can show it is wrong and that is backwards thinking.
But if you cared about the truth? You'd see we have already been to space and seen that the earth is not a cube. And the current models for the way we use these satellites for things like GPS and whatnot only work if we take into account a round earth. If that isn't enough evidence for you, then you should be honest and admit that your inquiry isn't about explaining it, but rather pushing an agenda. Or you're trolling. But lately it's hard to tell with the kinds of dregs /x/ gets.
>>19179645
>You'd see we have already been to space and seen that the earth is not a cube.
time cube doesn't posit that the earth is a cube. if you can't/or haven't bothered to grasp a concept, don't argue against it.
that being said I do agree with you

Does consciousness beget reality? And if so what are the implications of this as a whole?
Define consciousness
Define reality
>>19179448
What you really are is an open space of awareness.
Dissolved into the background, implicitly, are all the patterns that ever were, although they are only very subtly present and barely activated.
Your background felt-sense is the global sense of all the patterns you are holding on to (the facts-of-the-world).
All sensory experience is the effortless and spontaneous arising of patterns in alignment with the felt-sense. The shifting of the felt-sense is how we actually select experience.
It is likely that the ramifications of OP's faggotry are immeasurable
If there is a person who doesn't believe at all in the phenomenon paranormal things.
What are the most strongest example of it?
Yeah, about that...at least 50% of us here don't believe, but we like talking about it, so we don't broach the whole "proof" thing.
If you want to prove the unprovable, stick to religion, kiddo.
>>19179207
If anybody knew the answer to that then there would be no debate. Even the strongest case of the paranormal can be explained by normal or mundane things, or they have no solid answer at all. There is no smoking gun that is gonna change minds in an instant.
>>19179207
If something is indisputably proven it is not paranormal. Paranormal phenomena are not fully explained. If it is fully explained and non-controversial, then it's not paranormal. So you're not going to find your smoking gun.

What/who was Spring-heeled Jack? Why didn't he appeare since the 19th century?
Bump
Very interested in this thread.
i have no idea but what i do know that the previous poster ate the ass of a dude named jack once
>>19178684
>Why didn't he appeare since the 19th century
Because he was an actual, living being, who has since succumbed to age and finally death.
He had many qualities that are profoundly different to us, indeed, to most of the human race. He was born without fear. Watch Park Dietz long version interview of "The Ice Man" Kuklinksi. I'll sum it up for you if you don't have the time: (From a real life interview, FBI psyche profileer and a genuine serial killer) Some human beings do not experience fear. This is not because they have strong characters, or because they are brave, it is because they are born lacking in not only brain material of a certain area, but also of activity.
Spring healed Jack also was a person of extremely high IQ, who lived in the most advanced place on earth at the time. He did various scientific experiments, how wings soften falls, pneumatic and hydraulic propulsion from standing still, and a million other things. He knew how to experiment, how to work with the results, and how to work with materials. He was physically strong and brave, but also had the skill to build the machines and uniforms of his craft.
The most important difference between Spring Heeled Jack and normies is that he was an autist. He could have been famous and a staple of every history book, but his social anxiety and general autism led him on another path. He was simply incapable of approaching society directly with his advanced knowledge, and he couldn't just sit on it. His only psychological option was to occasionally show off his profound differences with the rest of humanity, then go back into hiding.

Redpill me on meditation and what benefits it has.
I used to think it was all bullshit but I've done some research out of curiosity and my view on it is starting to shift slightly.
Also, how does/can it affect those with mental illnesses?
>>19178309
It's pretty much the contemplative aspect of yoga/mysticism. you could read Raja-Yoga or Hatha Yoga Pradapika for more insight, both of which should be available in the /omg/ mega library.
>>19178309
the dark night of the soul is real https://www.thoughtco.com/buddhist-meditation-and-the-dark-night-449760
meditation can exacerbate mental illness but i suspect it can also help it (don't have any particular data at hand)
There are several different kinds - if you do the too hardcore tibetan tantric stuff without the right training you can turn mad - so only do those with the right instructions and transmission. But it also depends on what you want and what problems you have. If your goal is self-realization i would advice you to read spiritual materialism by Chögyam Trungpa to redpil you and destroy your crowlian dreams. If your goal is just to chill and nothing else go for mindfulness. If it's for more then find your local buddhist center and lean there or local yoga center if you want to learn the hindu tradition - there is also a buddhist yoga tradition like hatha yoga called Yantra Yoga and one like kundalini yoga mentioned in Padmasambhava's biography.
Meditation can help you - and buddhism too you just need to find the right technique to help with your illness - what is it exactly?
