Share stories and experiences regarding these astral critters who enjoy human energy snacks. Extra points for legit advice on exterminating them.
What I know for a fact about them:
>they are mostly active during the night
>they exclusively feed off of energy eminated by negative emotions such as fear and hatred
>they have the ability to keep their target awake for extended periods of time
>they can imprint thoughts and induce nightmare on a target in order to elicit fear
>the more sleep depraved one is, the easier it is for them to do their thing
That's about it.. Other than that they are of the color black in appearance and resemble insects in their shape, namely spiders.
Oh, and not to forget the occasional sleep paralysis occurring during the attacks. I'm just not sure if it's caused by parasites specifically or if it's a natural thing to happen when you regain awareness while the body is sleeping.

How can I use a sigil or something on my dead grandmother's old cooking and baking stuff to gain her lost recipes? Preferably nonpermanent markings.
She made amazing apple cake but no one knows how she kept the crust dry without butter, shortening, or oil.
She wasn't well for a while before she went and never got around to explaining some old recipes. Had a thought that like time crystals can retain occilations patterns, does all matter to some extent have memories, even of how they were used?
Its the same old kitchen she used since the late 50s with ancient gas stovetop, oven, broiler combo.

Before i get into what happened i want to clear some things up:
1. I live completely alone
2. This is not my plant (I went around the house to check on all the house plants) and I have never seen it before.
3. I didn't put the plant there.
So i went to the bathroom with the intent of dropping my load when i noticed something odd... there was a plant in the shower. so im like 'wtf' and went around the house looking at the house plants and they were all still there. so i am either VERY drunk or my house got invaded by a... plant bather. but seriously though i called the police and they were like wtf. if anyone else lives in sydney australia and something like this has happend to you then please reply cos this is creepy af.

Sleep paralysis does not have to be scary all the horror stories you hear about it probably dont help you feel conformable with it. But it can be a good way to go lucid. Also try doing a WILD during an afternoon nap seems to work for me. Also waking up early and letting yourself doze off its perfect for having lucid or vidid dreams.

I feel a bit spooked, /x/.
There's a low pitched whistle outside my house. The best way I could describe it it you would be the lowest note on a wooden recorder. It only lasts a second, but repeats at disturbing rhythm. It happens about once every 5 sec, and it's been going on for about an hour. I can't see anything out the window, and im only gonna go check it out with the shotgun if it keeps up. Anyone have any clues as to what it might be?
