Can a Godlike entity /Deity cause a person to change or in a better sense Can they cause you to forget who you are?
I'm asking because I believe I've had an encounter with a spiritual deity over my young/Adult life I know some of you will say I'm sick(mentally) But I need answers and I think you guys can provide helpful insight
>>19359973
Describe what this deity looked like? They can surely improve your life depending on who it is but your memories will always remain you will just be more comfortable they are not happening right now to you. course time is looped so the past is always happening like ww2 and other things like your memories and mine.
>>19359973
Within the context of their story, sure. They should be able to do that.
Realistically though, something like that probably doesn't exist and if it did it would be hard to imagine it making specific actions towards humanity in general, let alone individuals.
Are you experiencing a memory loss/black out period type of thing? Is it possible you encountered some kind of psychological trauma? Seen something you shouldn't, experienced something you shouldn't.

Losing little bits of information at a time or experiencing slightly edited versions of information i should know as established for example simple stuff like friends I have good or poorish connections with based on previous interactions /events.

I think I have precognition. Usually, it comes with the deja vu I often get. After I get a flash of deja vu, I know where my conversation is going. This is not some vague idea. I can actually know the exact words others will say. A good example is when I went to a hotel with my friend. My friend, who had done literally all the booking was telling me about our room. I had never been in that place before, but during our conversation, I immediately replied, "yeah I know, our room is on the 38th floor, the highest floor of the building". I somehow already knew that. Can someone help me? What is this supposed to be?
Edit: I also looked up symptoms of precognition on the web. Advanced empathy is one. I feel the pain of others when I see them get hurt physically. I've also been having weird dreams lately, which are of events which already happened, but ended up in a different way. Is that also a symptom?
>Can someone help me?
If they can then they're likely not on /x/. If you see multiple paths ahead then take your time and play it safe.
>What is this supposed to be?
You have prescience. One of the rarest abilities. Call yourself a Seer.
>>19359952
How am I supposed to use this ability? Can I control it? I mean the random facts I know aren't helping me pass tests...Also I heard somewhere that the scenes I see in my dreams are from alternate timelines. Do they have significance?
>>19359952
Oh, and write down your favorite dreams in a dedicated journal. Date them too. They're valuable now from an academic viewpoint but if you get a fortelling dream you can bank off of it.

I have told the phrase "Silence is Vanity" by a shadow in my dreams for a while now and I cannot figure out what it could mean, its never the same dream but the shadow shows up tells me "Silence is Vanity" and leaves which makes the dream a bit more lucid if anyone has any ideas i would apreciate it. I do not use any drugs and I'm not on any medication
it means silence is vanity thats all you need to know
>>19359750
I feel like I'm not understanding what the being or part of my mind that wants me to understand though, since its continueing i want to find out its true meaning
By being silent you don't have any purpose in this world. The vanity of your life can only be fulfilled by speaking up.
Did the Spongebob theme song induce an extreme amount of anxiety for anybody else when they were a child?
Not me, but my baby sister used to be terrified of the pirate to the point where she associated the song to him.
No, but the episode where he forgets his name is the earliest one I remember watching because it gave me an uncomfortable feeling

I think the '#E' was a fucked up attempt at writing 'they'.

>be me, playing vidya

>woods near my house
>it's about 5:40 pm, feel adventurous
>grab flashlight and phone, head out
>follow path leading innawoods for about 30 minutes or so
>reach a creepy spot
>trees are all dead, its weirdly cold and silent
>like dead silent
>freeze, I feel a prescense
>stand still for what seems like an hour
>suddenly, very distantly, hear a noise
>"hehehehehe"
>freaked out, but keep listening
>"hehehehehe" hear it again, closer this time
>I swear to god, sounds just like Peter Griffin's laugh from Family Guy
>spin around and book it the fuck outta there
>currently in my house, doors locked, curtains drawn, all lights on
What the fuck was that /X/, are the woods near my house haunted by Peter Griffin?

Shut up, Meg.

I wouldn't worry about it.
What are your guys thoughts on the rural areas vs urban areas in terms of spookiness? Are rural areas spookier to city folk than cities? What types of spooky things are generally accepted to happen in both places? Which has more?
With that what are you more experienced with? Share some stories.
Cities are unnatural abominations that turn people into cunts.

Hey /x/ i dont usually come here often but i was wondering if you guys could help me out. These past two days i have tries to sleep ive become horribly paranoid something is lurking in the dark staring at me and plotting to get me. It seems so irrational and i dont know how to remedy it. Any ideas?
>>19359569
Offer it some meat so it doesn't eat you.
Isn't "it" not even real though anon?
Don't worry, you aren't the only one. There are many of us. It's the Pleiadians. It's nothing to be afraid of. They're here to help us.
What is the universe inside of?
the universe is everything, so everything by definition cannot be contained within anything.
>>19359524
But surely there exists something which the universe is suspended in?
>>19359531
>But surely there exists something which the universe is suspended in?
Only if your conception of the 'universe' is more like a 'plane' of spatial existence, like midgard, or heaven, or the pure land.
For example, if our plane of existence, which you define as "universe" is a simulation, or part of a 'multiverse' : Then there are levels and bounds to the suspension of our particular 'universe' within a greater reality.
But, as the universe can be defined as 'everything', the universe that is simulated is in collective with the greater simulating reality as a singular 'everything', or the singular 'plane' is in collective with other multiverses. As the universe is everything, it contains everything.
There cannot be anything outside of everything by definition - so everything cannot be inside of anything, as there is nothing outside of everything.
What if we sleep because that's a way to keep us in this physical realm?
Ever noticed how more attentive to details and how everything starts to look weirder and the amount of shadows/lights you see the more sleep deprived you get? Ever noticed how that's kind of how you feel when you're drunk or high?
I believe it's possible that we're being dragged out of this realm slowly through the day.
It's more efficient to evolution If you spend your whole conscious time not aware of the non-physical world and sleeping is a way to reset that.
Give me your most bullshit theories about sleeping and the everyday reset we get.
What if we wake because that's a way to keep us in this physical realm? Is there any difference between the waking world and the sleeping world? In the sleep do you think we try to remember our waking lives like we try to remember our dreams in the wake?
>>19359428
>Ever noticed how more attentive to details and how everything starts to look weirder and the amount of shadows/lights you see the more sleep deprived you get? Ever noticed how that's kind of how you feel when you're drunk or high?
Ever noticed how that may be to impaired/altered brain activity? Like sleep deprivation? Drugs/ingesting foreign chemicals into your body?
>It's more efficient to evolution If you spend your whole conscious time not aware of the non-physical world and sleeping is a way to reset that.
Talking of evolution, please stop sleeping so natural selection takes care of you. You know people die from sleep deprivation?
I believe when you sleep you hop into another dimension of you that's on a different path. You know how sometimes you have dreams and you're around people you haven't seen in years or barely knew but you're all the correct age doing normal shit.
Also that, anytime you have deja'vu it's two of these dimensions splitting off into the void, when they cross or get close you can experience them through dreams.
If you die in a dream that was just another version of you actually dying and what's left clung to you.
Does anyone have more info or stories describing what was contained on these phantom islands?
>/wiki/Phantom_island
(contains a long list of phantom islands)
Some people have even claimed to have set foot on these islands
>/wiki/Saint_Brendan's_Island
"This island is named after Saint Brendan, who claimed to have landed on it in 512 together with 14 monks, with whom he held a Mass. The monastic party reported its stay as 15 days, while the ships expecting their return complained that they had been kept waiting a year, during which period the island remained concealed behind a thick curtain of mist."
>/wiki/Frisland
"Frisand, is a phantom island that appeared on virtually all of the maps of the North Atlantic from the 1560s through the 1660s."
>>19359298
Aye. Legend tells of an island, one that can only be found by those who already know where it is.
