don't know where too put this and want a bit of an explanation if its a brain fuck up or some other shit so time for the story

so I went to America recently and went to go order some fast food and when ordering i spoke to the server she spoke german so i spoke german back and after i finished ordering i said Danke and she gave a
confused look and asked what i said what i said and i said it again and she said what language is that and i just became really confused and we spoke more and she said she only spoke english despite both of us speaking fluent german. was she just fucking with me of is there some explanation?

Genies/Djinn

What are some clues to figure out if a genie inhabits a certain object?

Are there esoteric glyphs etched on to their binding object? Is it true that I must state their name to summon them?

Are there various genies? Like how much power, and abilities they have?

Anyone one have similar experiences like these?

>be a small lad about 9-10 or so
>be doing social studies homework at the living room table.
>living room is right next to a staircase that leads to a place my grandma lives in and table is close to door
>in the middle of some question as i look up and see a small hairless humanoid creature book it up the stairs leading to my grandmas house.


Anyone else have similar experiences? It was beigh, 4-5 feet high and ran on all fours if that helps
