Is it possible to understand death using only the intellect?
Yeah. Concentrate on what it's like to be alive and then think of the opposite.

No. Only align the mind stuff.

"What do you feed a lab assistant?"
This is Bull
I'd like to chat if that's okay. This isn't some RP post to any unaware, he posted a few things in the /omg/ general and I wanted to ask him more on a separate post.

Hi newhelp, it's Q, do you still have my health reading lying around?
Have any of you /x/philes seen this yet? Do you think it'll live up to sci-fi standards, or just flop? Do you think it'll be whisked away in a blur of paper work and red tape? Or will this be spread to anyone brave enough to fare the final frontier? Basically, what are your thoughts on this?
Salient links below, pic related is the object in question.

Nobody understands.
Let's start with the fact that NASA's budget keeps dropping.
...I'm just a civilian and I know that space exploration is THE most important thing in our existence. Someone with money knows this.
The "government's" black budget keeps increasing.
THAT'S the space program.
NASA is a television show.
It's the buffer, the mediator between what's ACTUALLY happening in space and the public.
Because the public wouldn't be able to handle the truth.
>>16939610
>THE most
Keeping the world stable enough to ensure we can reap the rewards of space exploration is more important
So this may not be paranormal as many seem to believe that it is merely a glitch, albeit a pretty creepy one.
There's a small trailer park in GTA San Andreas situated in the Mohalland Intersection area. On the other side of the road from this trailer park there is a patch of grass and the ocean behind it. On this patch of grass (pretty much any time of the day any day) a random NPC will spawn there with a camera (camera wielding NPCs are pretty rare to come across in the game, especially in the first areas) they will take a picture of something on the other island a few times before walking into the ocean and drowning themselves. Sometimes at night they will stare at the moon for a couple of seconds before doing so. This particular NPC said the line "welcome to the last place on earth" to me before killing herself, which was fairly spooky.
Just wanted to share this on /x/ for those that were unaware of it. It's in all versions of the game, so you can find it on the PC, PS2, Xbox and digitally downloaded versions of the game on PSN and XBL.
The location they can be found at for anyone who wants to check it out.
And seemingly what they are photographing before killing themselves.

I remember this mfw she kills herself...
Do you ever see or hear visitors where you live? Do they try to make contact_?
i'm schizophrenic, I hear whispers that are inaudible when i'm off my meds (like tinnitus), if i'm half asleep i'll hear what sounds like conversations that make no sense. like it you took lines from t.v. sitcoms and said them in random orders. i try to avoid delusions
>>16939579
Tell me more about your schizophrenia please.
>>16939570
Yes.
No. Because that's how bad things happen. If they aren't hurting you or breaking your shit leave them alone. There's always sounds of activity in every room in the house regardless if a room is empty or not. Everything from muffled voices to the sound of some kind of instrument being played. It isn't neighbors. None are close enough for that.
This creator has bean trying to kill me the last few days.
Not sure what it is but I see it fallowing me all the time.
It has light purple eyes
Has a lesser helping it. Looks kinda Aztec.

If this is true, unless it comes to this side of the veil, which very few beings are actually capable of doing, you're safe as long as you don't feed him fear, anger or anxiety
Its in this world fiscally im sure of that my brother Dreamer was with me on one of the attacks few things give him a run for his money.
Is there any incantations I can use?
fight him
get him with a baseball bat, don't be afraid dude

Guys can you believe no one on /x/ is actually roleplaying?
It is amazing how much real paranormal content we get
Why would you do this, man?
Why don't we have more tripfags? We need to know which well thought out opinions correspond to which personalities.

For a completely uninitiated plebian, what would be the easiest way to touch something otherworldly? In other words, what is the best way to get personal proof of the paranormal?
I don't want to waste time just to become a foil hat paranoid with no hard evidence, all I want is a bit of proof that not everything on this board is bullshit. Just the tiniest bit of proof is enough, so what's the best way to find it?
dig up a corpse, fuck its neck hole, piss on it, bury it upside down

The two lobes of the brain being out of sync.
Babaji. A first hand account of him written by Paramahansa Yogananda and his Guru Yukteswar Giri . He is supposedly hundreds if not thousands of years old. Reportedly lives in the Himalayas. An Avatar at the same level as Jesus? A pretty God-tier kind of dude.
So, does he exist /x/?
>>16939096
No, just like Jesus never existed.
>>16939096

Erm yeah, but he's not really that much of a human though, kind of an Avatar sort of a deal.
At my house here right now I have got in situ; a medically qualified Doctor and ibogaine treatment specialist, an Artist/Mystic with a Saintly air and who talks in Spiritual Algorithms, a 93 year old dysfunctional Wizard, a Schizophrenic Saint, Me, and a dog who has Seen the Other Side (pic related).
Anyway, I don't really expect this thread to stick, just saying really, thanks.

Hey /x/ I was hoping one of you would be able to help me remember the name of this short story I read a while ago. It was about a guy who sees a stranger on his train everyday and one day decides to follow him and sit just like him. He goes to some weird extra dimensional train hub and ends up getting lost and cant find the train back to his dimension.
my life desu

Hey /x/, I want to ask you about some weird shit my boyfriend does. The way he describes it and the way it looks, it seems like some sort of magic/religious thing, but I can't find anything on it.
> Boyfriend has a small garden in his basement.
> About 12/x12 area, like a large sandbox, filled with dirt from his place of birth.
> Perfectly manicured grass and a small oak tree he's practically bonzai'd at this point.
> It's like 4-5 feet tall.
> He sits/lays in it and meditates in it.
> He's obsessive about caring for it and spending time around it.
> Says it clears his mind, helps him remain peaceful, gain insight.
> Says it connects him to the earth.
I don't understand this ritual/what he's trying to achieve. Any ideas?
Sounds like a zen garden. Why don't you ask him about it? Is communication in your relationship really that poor?
>>16938878
You've driven the poor guy so far out of his mind he needs to spend time alone in his zen garden.
>>16938878
That's cool. You've said all you need to know already.
