Anyone ever have those moments when you're writing down a word and someone says that exact word? Shit happens to me a lot and it's not commonly used words either, it's specific nouns. Also general odd coincidences thread.
This actually happens quite a bit when I'm reading. Someone will say the same word out phrase just as I'm reading it.
>>16977746
Same here. Also - happens even with just... thinking. For example: I am thinking a specific sentence in my head and somebody says random word from that sentence A SECOND after I just thought about it. It always makes me go 'wtf', like there is some hivemind shiet going on. Or a small tiny telekinetic window.
Or, just... good old boring coincidences.
Other odd coincidence is, that if there's a failing lantern, it always fails right when I reach it. No matter if I go by feet or by bike. I approach it - it goes dark. Happens almost always during my night walks with random lanterns. And I do walk quite often.
>>16977780
Cont. it got to the point that if I see slightly dim/flickering lantern, I can predict it will turn off when I approach it. I even proven it to my friends and they just brushed it off as coincidence. Even if I say it happens a lot.

Will you do a quick reading for me?
I want to know what his feelings for me are...and whether or not he's suppressing these feelings.
When I was little kid and still slept in my mom's bed, she said I would sometimes frighten her with my sleep talking and night terrors. Sometimes I would bolt upright in bed and stare, wide-eyed at the ceiling. My mom would hold me and try to talk to me but I would just stare straight ahead and not respond. She woke up to me whispering in my sleep one night and decided to try talking to me.
"Did you say something?"
"It is on the bed."
"What is on the bed?"
"It! Is on the bed."
So my mom got up, turned on all the lights, and made me drink a warm glass of milk in the kitchen before we went back to bed.
I used to have sleep paralysis too and when I told her, she would make me pray before sleeping. Once, I woke up frozen in bed to hear someone idly plucking a little guitar outside the window. The problem was that I lived in a second floor apartment. It doesn't seem that frightening to me now but I did wonder if it was connected to a strange little audio recording of a supposed exorcism my family kept. But that's another story.
Tell me your creepy sleepy habits, /x/.
Several times at night i have to wake up of the bed to close the doors of my closet, when there's no wind on my room, in fact it happened since i made a suicide rope, that i saved in my closet
I have legitimate night terrors. Powerful, primal nightmares that persist \well into regaining consciousness and I've had them my entire life
>Be a little kid
>Believe monsters are coming into my room at night
>Mom regularly must comfort me screaming
>ave unhealthy need to sleep with parents all the way til adolescence
>Be adolescent
>Be convinced that I'm being stalked by other kids from school who hate me and are fucking with me
>Manage to overcome paralysis aspect by channeling fear into teen rage
>Regularly leap out of my bed onto things that turn out to not be there
>Be young adult
>Start sleeping with girls
>Have problems with punching them in my sleep because I think they're attackers
>Or alternately push them out of the bed onto the floor to protect them
>Be fully mature adult with family
>Wake up thinking girlfriend/wife is dead in the bed with me
>"Whatever - she'll probably start moving in a minute"
>Son comes and gets me because HE'S having a night terror
>"It's okay, Boy. Just let Daddy lay here for twenty seconds or so until the huge fanged bugs stop crawling around on your face"
My brain. It's interesting.

I think a lot of sleep disorders might be hereditary? My mom and I both have sleep terrors. Might want to check with a sleep specialist man I read that sleep disorders that manifest in adulthood might be precursors for things like schizophrenia.
Hey /x/ lets start a conspiracy theory thread
Which ones turned out to actually be true?
Which ones do you believe in/ hold the most merit?
Which ones are so far out they are just hilariously retarded?
mass surveillance became reality
>of we the people
>of we the people
>of we the people
That's an obnoxious way to write things.

It's really unnerving, makes me have no peace and you fucking know this is only heading to cameras in your neighborhoods and finally inside your houses.
Fucking weird video thread

Yeah. I found that channel the other day. Pretty odd, and I'm liking it already. Here's a deleted video from that channel that's neat.

So a close friend of mine was telling me how her mother visited a witch and tried to place a curse on her father but apparently her father is a pastor and a Seventh Day Adventist and somehow the curse had a reverse effect and it was placed on the mother. After that, her mother started acting very strange (e.g. staring at walls, laughing at ceiling lights, small cuts on her arms). I didn't believe it but when I visited her mother, I saw it was very true. But I'm wondering, is it actually possible for a curse to have a reverse effect because the person is a pastor? Perhaps he was protected by God or something? I'm not sure, so any ideas?

At what age do they teach punctuation in American Schools?
Be assured that the pure hearted are immune to curses.

So you can't curse a puppy?

So what do you think: "Clever hoax"... or "absolute truth"?
>>16977101
>retard spotted
that's not really news on this board
>>16977101
Neither. Boring garbage. The ass couldn't even name a single interesting event in the future. He highlights why everyone hates roleplayers, no effort whatsoever. Just attention whoring.
Most roleplayers are, sadly, like late teens who show up to a house on Halloween begging for candy and are too lazy and pointless to have even made costumes. They're too lazy and pointless to even manage to threaten people with half decent tricks (or any tricks at all.) They're just lazy, boring people pawing around for free handouts. That's kind of how too many roleplayers are.
So that isn't the truth...it's not clever by any means. I wouldn't really say it goes far enough to be called a hoax, clever or otherwise. I guess it could be an absolute like, "absolutely useless," but I dunno...
>>16977119
I disagree, i thought if anything it was a clever satire on the concept of a "time traveler"
as if to say, its ridiculous to ask someone from the future what "has happened" as in reality if time travel ever was discovered, those who did partake likely wouldnt be intellectual gods.
they wont know everything - obly wwqt wqgey bjowu
What if we were never alive to begin with and life and death as we know them are illusions?
Don't make me think things like that, OP.
I need death because no one should have to live long enough to no longer feel pain.
>>16977094
Pain is not real, my brother. You only feel pain because you make yourself feel it.
>>16977107
nigga my feets hurt
Crowley VS Lovecraft
GO!
They couldn't be more different. If you mean a physical altercation, vicious animal Crowley would have torn Lovecraft up unless the deeply troubled larger man happened to have some sort of psychotic break, which wouldn't have been past him.
>>16976897
This is what I mean.
>DEATHMATCH!!!
Any manifesters here?
I'm an empath and have noticed how positive affirmations have a direct influence on the world around me.
I am, however, miserably dirt poor and would like to know how to attract abundance. Or a position in life where I am more inclined to success.
Always remember:
Power is equal to desire and purpose.
Universal law of attraction.
Surround yourself with the correct state of mind and healthy energy. And the Universe will pave the way.
I have a picture of a nice snowy house in the mountains on my ceiling so every morning I wake up seeing that and thinking about it knowing I'll live there some day
>>16976928
Don't believe in the law of attraction but being positive and receptive to everything around you is a good way to have doors open just because people appreciate folks like that and enjoy being around them.
I used to ride that wave, bit disillusioned with everything now, and also don't really want too much.
I'm only able to do anything of the sorts when I wholeheartedly wish to manifest what benefits others. I called it luck though.
Never accomplished it for myself.
I'm not one for superstitions but last friday I was in college in a morning class and we were doing our work when I looked out the window and saw a magpie, I said 'Look a magpie, there's only one, that means sorrow.' and someone added that it was also friday the 13th so I said 'Well that means something super bad is going to happen today, be careful.' and that was that. Nothing bad did happen that day and after watching a bit of Children In Need I went to bed. I came downstairs on saturday and the first thing my dad said to me was 'did you here the news?' I had no idea what he meant so he went on to say that there was a terrorist attack in Paris. As soon as he said that the image of the magpie flashed into my head along with my friend saying that it's Friday the 13th.
Do you think this is purely coincidence or is something else going on?
Obviously the Magpie is a terrorist.
>>16976778
can confirm magpies are ISIS and are the route of all terrorism.
Allahu magpie
If secret societies know and respect the great order of things, would they work to help Kali Yuga or fight it?
Maybe souls are supposed to fall into materialism at this time. There are other lessons for other ages.
Not sure what OP is babbling about, but the quote in his pic is pretty cosmic.
>>16976728
If we all fall into materialism there won't be other ages.
>>16976746
Every atheist I've ever seen always has a childish fixation on being anti religion, like its their only quality. They will outgrow it eventually.
So if Isis the terrorist group was created by the us government/ shadow gov/ occultists I wonder if ISIS is some sort of symbolism of destroying the female- as Isis is the goddess of rebirth, empowerment and utter femininity.
Yknow what occultists be like, they're into their symbolism n shit
why can't ISIS be a regular terrorism group?
It's only called ISIS in the west, elsewhere it's called Daesh. Both are acronyms.

cuz being spooky is fun
If I started a cult that worshiped aliens as our creators, would you join?
Go away L. Ron, you're supposed to be dead.
>>16976695
Isn't that already Scientology?
>>16976703
Everytime I bring up aliens in /x/, someone brings up Scientology...
I need help /x/, The story in this pic is my favorite story of all time. Unfortunately, all I have is this one screencap. All i know is that the story is titled Alice or sometimes Dimensions and the author goes by Asmodean or Asmodeus depending on when it was posted and where. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome. Thanks.
Going to bump with some interesting/creepy stories.
