Well, hello everyone! It's leafreader again. I apologize for my relatively long absence. In case you don't know, I practice tasseography, the art of reading the future in tea leaves.
As it is traditionally done in presence of the querent, my readings will be a wild approximation and I recommend seeking a real-life oracle if you have significant problems.
Anyway! I'll need your name, age, a random word and your favorite color. Feel free to change these requirement if you don't feel comfortable with them. Thank you!

Any chance you can give me a reading based off the location/condition of my cat? His name is Rosco.
Urban legends and unsolved mysteries are cool and all, as long as they have some credibility.
I recently heard the story of Hoer-Verde, an alleged settlement in Brazil with 600 people that vanished in 1923. It is claimed all that was left was a shotgun and a writing on the school blackboard which read "There is no salvation outside the church" or something like that.
The legend theorizes that people abandoned the village because they were afraid of a "guerilla attack". That part got me sceptical so I decided look for more info on this and there is absolutely no result for this story or the name of the settlement being mentioned in any source in Portuguese. At this point I'm pretty sure it's a complete fabrication.
- there was no guerilla conflict in Brazil in 1923. The closest thing we had to guerilla warfare was in the 1970s and it never affected civilian settlements
- there was no civil war in Brazil at the time. A bloodless coup happened in 1930 and a small armed conflict happened in 1932 and lasted only 4 months but again, nothing that would result in civilian settlements being evacuated
- Hoer is Dutch for whore, who the fuck would name their village that?
- Again, zero mention of this story in any Portuguese source
- My mom told me it's a lie and I should stop using the internet
Do you know of any unsolved mystery which you just know was fabricated? The kid of shit that was never mentioned in a newspaper or anywhere relevant and probably came out of a blogger or 4channer's ass? Do share.
Bump for interest.

So whats the verdict on Martin Shkreli
>>17105398
Great quote. What an arsehole.
>>17105398
Actually proof that Big Pharma isn't as powerful as it seems.
Shkreli was a PR disaster that reinforced everything the public believes about Big Pharma, and will make them push much harder for stronger regulations. Every second he continued to publicly exist in the pharmaceutical field was actively harming them - embodying every single stereotype of the most evil, money-grubbing possible corporate dictator. If "evil but extremely competent" was the main cause of Big Pharma's failures, they would have shut him down immediately.
(Also, proof that our drug licensing, patent, and generics system is massively fucked. Shkreli could only do what he did because of massive problems in the legislation created to restrain pharma companies.)

When i read this i started to think that maybe this has something to do with the first riddle from Sergei Guriev. About that ISIS has terror cells in every country that's in the coalition. Riddle is pic related.

First time on /x/. What goes on here? Anything interesting recently? (picture posted without any relevance)
Reminder: School Holiday in USA until Jan. 8th.
Under-supervised bored children will be posting boring drivel and weak troll attempts for next few weeks.
Circlejerking the same concepts over and over again interspersed with (un)warranted advice from (un)enlightened people who try not to drown in the bullshit they may either be opposing or accidentally contributing to

You can start by learning to google for scary pictures. Then work on not posting stupid maymays and lurking moar until you get the feel of this board instead of making pointless threads.
WTF is this shit? It's even here now. Why do masons try to insert their shitty symbols wherever they can?
>>17104865
Originally that is Christian symbol "All-seeing-eye".
>>17104907
Originally.
The Holy Roman Empire never fell, they just converted to Christianity... Ever noticed that? They took and corrupted our symbols so that they could control us without our knowledge. It is no longer the eye of God.
>>17104907
It originated far later than Christianity. The version without the triangle originated far earlier, but the triangle version dates to the Renaissance period.
So, as far as I can tell, there's no big ol' conspiracy. There are no Illuminati.
However, there actually is Luciferean symbolism and weird elitist genocide symbolism in the music video for Katy Perry & Kanye West - E.T.
Two options immediately come to mind: Either Kanye West is fucking crazy (big stretch there, rite) or they're deliberately trolling conspiracy theorists.
Thoughts?
>>17104835
>So, as far as I can tell, there's no big ol' conspiracy.
Of course there isn't one.
The Illuminati are followers of the Ancient Mystery schools of the Old World.
That means they worship the Anunna gods from Mesopotamia.
You dont even believe that they exist so its the perfect cover for them.
>>17104835
that symbolism is how they communicate.
If one of them is a freemason or kabbalic jew they put the symbolism in their show to signal to other people to approve of that show because it is another one of their group.
This is why they give cryptic messages, this way they don't have to arrange secret meetings but give the message out in public. If someone pipes up and says thats crazy, he is discredited because no one believes him. if he/she has proof, they are assassinated.
Do you guys ever think about why anything exists?
Think about this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6W5pq4bIzIw
What the fuck is this shit?
Why is any of this real?
Existence by its nature exists.
Non-existence by its nature does not exist.
In other words, why is there something instead of nothing?
Because something is something and nothing is nothing.
What is existence? Anything and everything ad infinitum.
>>17104821
Nothing's still something. :D

I see them sometimes
Can't sleep for days after
>>17104335
I stopped seeing them for more than 2 months by now. Every month I would see them, be them appearing in a dream and turning it into a lucid nightmare or IRL. Anyway, only the first time was spooky and the less I did care about them the less they did appear, they probably feed on fear.
what are they?
>what are they?
Things cumburpers post.

deja vue look it up
Hello /x/, this is my great grandpas access cards and pins from the years he worked at lockheed. Im trying to figure out where he got deployed in 1960. He didnt go to vietnam, and Im wondering if he worked in the skunkworks and what he's seen. Whenever you ask him about these things he says its classified but now with his old age im hoping he might spill some beans if i already seem like i know what he did. Hes said in the past that he has seen ufos and aliens but he wont go into detail. Any info would help this intriguing mystery of 30 years of his life.
"classifed" doesn't mean UFOs
There's lots of reasons to keep secrets about military stuff. Like trade secrets, keeping info from enemies and allies alike, to cover up mistakes, and well for graft reasons too.
Rotated your image for ya...
Nice thread. I hope he gives you more info.
Do you have some more?
Nice thread. Do you have more?

Any Christfags on /x/? If you can hear God talk, I could use some divine intervention.
Also divine intervention thread. Post stories of intervention into the natural course of events. Weather it's your story or another you've heard.
Got stabbed twice in the chest. The knife hit my dog tag where my right ventricle is, it slid about an inch to the right to hit my myocardium (skin that is around your heart) and hit my lung. Now my lung collapsed , but I'm not dead.
I was sent the dog tag back because it had my name and address right on it. After the police were done with it they sent it in an evedince bag.
I saw the dent in it and a scratch that escaped to the right side. The doctor said the knife must have bounced off your sternum and missed your heart.
I know it was someone looking out for me. The chances that it happens the way it did, the odds are millions to one.
Saw a bright white light, saw my life flash before my eyes, every event like a GIF, every birthday, getting my license, graduating school.
I kept saying not like this I kept asking but what about my son ? ( I don't have one) but I thought I would be a father some day. So I was begging not to go to have another chance.
And I got one
Made a full recovery.

Thanks anon. That's really encouraging.
