I was around 7 and i was hanging out with my sister, and 3 other kids around the same age or younger, and we were playing in our complex and and we all saw this stretchy black person/figure (shadow like I guess, but more solid) just climb up the side of one of the town houses and onto a roof. we were using walkie talkies at the time and when we saw the thing the one channel we were using started going all wonky and static-y and making weird sounds.. That part scared me more than the figure itself for some reason.
(not even kidding Im positive the channel we were using was 6, But I could be wrong)

Thinking about it, it was pretty damn scary but I was young so I didn't really know what was going on, so I just ran inside with my sister

after that I hid the walkie talkie behind my moms tv and never used it again.. thats basically it. but all of us agreed to seeing it, my sister Initially pointed it out actually. Never saw anything like it again

In Slavic folklore, Baba Yaga is a supernatural being (or one of a trio of sisters of the same name) who appears as a deformed and/or ferocious-looking woman. Tailypo is a frightening ravenous cat-like creature of North American folklore, particularly in Appalachia. Alternate names include: Taileybones, Tailbones, Taily Po, Tally Po, Taileypo, Tailey Po and Tailipoe(sies). Most often (and especially in older adaptations) the Tailypo legends are simply titled "Tailypo." The Tailypo is usually described as being the size of a dog, with yellow or red eyes, pointed ears and a long tail. In some versions of the folktale, it has tufted ears like a bobcat. It is covered in black or dark brown fur to camouflage its nocturnal activities. Its claws are its main weapon.

The Tailypo can speak like a man, and demands the return of its tail (the actual phrase varies between versions, but is always repeated, usually three times): "Taily-po, Taily-po...who has my Taily-po..."

In nineteenth century versions, a rusalka is an unquiet, dangerous being who is no longer alive, associated with the unclean spirit. According to Dmitry Zelenin, young women, who either committed suicide by drowning due to an unhappy marriage (they might have been jilted by their lovers or abused and harassed by their much older husbands), or who were violently drowned against their will (especially after becoming pregnant with unwanted children), must live out their designated time on earth as rusalki.

Agreed, although I'd discuss greys any day versus fucking reptilians. Mantis people have so little material that I'm fairly certain they were just added to the narrative to keep greys interesting, but that being said I'd still read anything about them.

there is no scientific evidence that aliens actually exist. there is only the intuitive estimation that, with the vastness of the universe, some type of alien life seems like it should exist. keep in mind that "alien" doesn't mean humanoid. they could be humanoid but that would be incidental. they also don't have to be (highly) intelligent. there could be an alien planet with alien life that are only as advanced as what dinosaurs were.

you simply cant say one way or another, so without data that actually verifies the existence of life elsewhere you have to consider the very real possibility that we are somehow alone in the universe. still, i'd say it's probably more likely something else exists than not.

if you aren't aware you should look up some Birrin lifeforms this guy created. it's pure fiction, yes, but the way he plays it out is quite "realist" and it's nice how he manages to pull off drawings of aliens doing human-like things without it feeling too awkward. clothing for example. it works well.
