>Self-importance is not something simple and naive. On the one hand, it is the core of everything that is good in us, and on the other hand, the core of everything that is rotten. To get rid of the self-importance that is rotten requires a masterpiece of strategy.
>In order to follow the path of knowledge one has to be very imaginative. In the path of knowledge nothing is as clear as we'd like it to be. Warriors fight self-importance as a matter of strategy, not principle.
>Impeccability is nothing else but the proper use of energy. My statements have no inkling of morality. I've saved energy and that makes me impeccable. To understand this, you have to save enough energy yourself.
>Warriors take strategic inventories. They list everything they do. Then they decide which of those things can be changed in order to allow themselves a respite, in terms of expending their energy.
>The strategic inventory covers only behavioral patterns that are not essential to our survival and well-being.
>In the strategic inventories of warriors, self-importance figures as the activity that consumes the greatest amount of energy, hence, their effort to eradicate it.
>One of the first concerns of warriors is to free that energy in order to face the unknown with it. The action of rechanneling that energy is impeccability.

I like how you think. If I weren't about to go somewhere, I think I'd enjoy conversing with you. For now, have a bump. Here's hoping I return later to find some interesting discussions going on.

That's a character from the latest seasons of bakemonogatari. Each season named -x-monogatari ( latest one is owarimonogatari). Total /x/ tier anime, would recommend. Start with bakemonogatari (translates as ghost or monster story), and if you like it, can look up the correct order, though it gets a little into a-chronological telling later.
Character in OP is Ougi Oshino
The Pyramids at Giza were not built by aliens.
They were not built with the aid of magical beings.
They were built by human slaves and craftsmen, with the purpose of providing a physical waypoint on the ethereal plane. This particular location was so high in magical qualities that unsuspecting people were known to be pulled through if they weren't careful. Hence, when the large buildings, the interior corridors lined with runic inscriptions for safety, and the many rooms with different purposes. Think of it as a magical community center for everyone between Uppsala and Zimbabwe.
They haven't been used for that purpose since around the time of the first crusade. Over the centuries, Earth's position in the physical plane has shifted, turning places like the Pyramids or Stonehenge into the magical equivalent of paperweights, much like those plastic pyramids New Age people surround themselves with.
Honestly, how do they think it works? The Pyramids are pyramids because it's a structurally sound design. Lay's Chips are round, does that make them symbols of eternal recurrence?
The only magic you'll find there now is ancient echoes. The focal point has shifted west into Libya, and is currently located near one of Gadafi's old concentration camps. Just goes to show, tyranny doesn't pay, especially when an escaped prisoner makes a deal with a djinn for your downfall...
Incidentally, if you ever do visit the Pyramids, steer clear of food vendors. Set spends his time selling contaminated falafels to tourists.
We never asked but ok thanks i guess

I'm currently in the process of joining/being initiated into a cult. They refer to themselves as a cult and aren't shy about it.
They've shown me pictures of different rituals and training exercises inductees go through. However, the whole thing is very easy to find on google and seems to just be some shitty group that's organized around a zine.
Anyway, has anyone here ever joined a cult? Wanted to or tried to? I'm not going to spill the beans about this group because they might be the real deal.
How do we Google these kinds of artwork?

How do i force a nightmare?
Eat a lot of spicy shit and mustard right before you go to bed, do this after you brush your teeth or don't brush them that night.
>>17198010
this, plus:
>set a timer to start playing spoopy noises an hour or so after you fall asleep
>get someone to sneak in and poke you/mess with you while you're sleeping, but without waking you up
>sleep in an uncomfortable position or one in which your arm or leg might fall asleep or there might be something lying across your throat (of course you don't want to choke in your sleep)
>sleep with one or more limbs dangling off the edge of the bed - might induce falling dreams
and the most obvious
>watch/read/listen to something scary or disturbing before bed
there's no way to guarantee you'll have a nightmare, but those things should help.
why do you want a nightmare OP?
>>17198005
Funny you should ask.
I tried to force a nightmare the other night in order for inspiration for horror filmmaking, and boy did I get a good one.
Listen to Pharmakon's "abandon" album, and then listen to Enemite "Wuyan" album. Play silent hill. Think about the worst dreams you've ever had. Look up images of real death. Do this for an entire evening. While listening to the albums picture the bleakest scenarios- listening to your S.O getting fucked for money as you lie in a heap crying. Getting a forced abortion. Really nasty stuff. Your subconscious will cook you up something delicious.
I've been hearing more and more lately about this mysterious man in a hat that many people run into in their dreams. I've never run into him so I'm curious who else has and what these encounters were like
this meme overstayed its welcome years ago
as i was about 5 or 6 i was alone at home ( at least i dreamt this or it wasnt a dream i rly dont know anymore)
It was night and winter and a redish light came through the window. we lived in the basement. he stand outside the window and watched me while i was playing with dolls. i looked at him but soon lost interest. looking back on this memory it felt odd but i wasnt scared. it didnt felt dangerous.

It's just the Amish, they can't watch tv so the next best thing is checking out other people's dreams
Is time travel theoretically possible?
Will we ever be able to revisit the past and/or place ourselves in the future?
No and probably not
Yes and no
>>17197974
You can only time travel in a context that dosen't effect that past or future, and in a way that you can never prove happened. Try hard enough and you'll do it. But nobody will ever beleive you.
How does one active the third eye (pineal gland)?
Decalcify it by eating healthier. Once that is done begin deep meditation focusing on closing your eyes, or opened and in the dark, to see what your brain can't perceive. The third eye is really useless to us as a species though.

To Whom It May Concern,
If your reading this, I'm probably dead.
Good riddance. But I am not quite gone. If this picture frame falls, it's a calling card. I'm still here. I've always hated my wife, ******, and since it's her house, I think I'll take my revenge on this house and it's residents. I'd advise you to leave immediately. Or face my wrath.
