My fellow /x/men, what I bring into discussion here today isn't exactly paranormal; yet it's weird, intriguing and possibly creepy.

So. I'm sure you know most European (and also a good deal of Asian) civilizations come from a single culture, right? The Proto-Indo-Europeans were a people who lived (probably) on the steppes north of Caucasus (hence why we're called "caucasians") and, about five thousand years ago, spread into Anatolia and Eastern Europe; the Greeks and Romans, the Celtic, Germanic and Slavic tribes, all of those were just different migration waves, later developing into their own, unique cultures. Even the Proto-Indo-European language has been reconstructed, to a level of refinement that more recent, concrete evidence has come to corroborate the hypotheses (such as the laryngeal theory, proved true by Hittite studies).

How does any of that relate to /x/, you ask? Well, evidently, there were people living in Europe before those guys came in. Perhaps the most prominent of those is the Minoan civilization of Crete, which predated (and actually highly infuenced) the oldest Greek settlements. Later, non-Indo-European cultures of the Aegean, such as the Etruscans, seem to be related to Minoans; but material evidence is so scarce (mainly due to Greek/Roman expansionism) that it's very hard to state anything conclusive.

However, the "lost civilization" I think you'll find more interesting is the Cucuteni-Trypillian culture of modern-day Moldova. Those guys were a very complex society, with their very distinct forms of art, architecture and pottery; they even had a system of symbols (refer to pic), used throughout millenia, though most researchers classify them as "proto-writing".

The two most intriguing points, though, are: one, they were building absurdly large settlements for their time (while the estimated population of Uruk in Sumeria was five thousand people around 4000 BC, the CP settlement of Dobrovody was twice that size); and two, (cont).

This is a spectrogram of Blackstar. while i was listening to it i had this weird feeling and wanted to run it through the spectrogram program. Do you guys see text at around 4:30, it was during this eerie off-tune part of the song, I don't know maybe I'm seeing what I want to see.

Ill start: Obey the walrus, known in Spanish as "Obedece la Morsa", is a video that was allegedly created by a Latin American cult known as "La Morsa" (The Walrus) and it is said that "bad things" happen after watching the video. The "woman" featured in the video is actually old footage of an American Tranny born as Johnnie Baima who later obtained the "stage" name of Sandie Crisp, he is more popularly known by the nickname "Goddess Bunny".The Goddess Bunny obtained his "figure" when he contracted polio as a child.The Goddess Bunny has nothing to do with the cult of La Morsa, it is simply archived footage of him that has been edited and spread on the internet along with the stories of it being haunted for the sole purpose of scaring you. As a child, it appears that Johnnie bounced from foster home to foster home where he experienced some kind of abuse. Additionally, his posture and growth was restricted due to an ill-fated attempt by doctors to strengthen his spine with a steel rod.

just getting back to some anons on haunted areas in the gosford area.

There's a haunted fucked up house in Gosford. It's near my high school. Basically kids used to go smoke weed in there and I dunno but it's abandoned and scary as fuck haven't been in yet but might go in one night with some mates

Also try out Pioneer Park because that's filled with the graves of small children and stuff from colonial era. Haven't been there at night but my friend has and apparently it's fucking scary. Pioneer Park is also in Gosford not far from the haunted house.

If you know marks point, there is a big hill which the main road goes through and abruptly ends at the lake. When we were kids (this was in the 90s) we would go up to the top of the hill and into this abandoned home which overlooks the lake. As soon as you stepped foot in there it smelt like rotting possum and blood, (despite the semi broken door you couldn't smell anything outside) it looked like someone ran knifes down parts of the walls which split the wallpaper, shit would just jump off the floor and slam down and Windows would jitter on the bottom floor. I know that place exists still, I don't know what happened there, but I want to go back soon.
But fuck if I'm going alone.
