I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with the Pacific Northwest, or Oregon. It IS mostly rainy, wet, green, mossy, lush, you name it. However, smack in the lower half of Oregon, there's the Badlands Wilderness. The badlands is fucking intense. Hot as hell in the day, cold as balls at night, and it never really changes by season, just gets colder or hotter. I won't get into the dangerous desert electrical storms.
It's full of brush, rock, and thousands of acres of endless sand and short scrub trees, and deadwood. It's like a graveyard, most times, because of all the bones and shit out there. I love it still, even after this, but it's a really, really harsh place to the unprepared. We have hikers die out there yearly just from weather.
A decent amount of it is hiking trails, owned land, etc. But the vast, VAST majority of it is undeveloped wasteland.
We camp in the wasteland.

These are not couch-potato-ass dogs. One of them was a schutzhund competitor(read: trained guard/sport dog), the other was an adopted adult that was generally just a good boy.

I'll cut the greentext for a bit more of a description for this place. It's about a mile north of the broken rock formation where we were camped, across some flat nothingness. It's a small grove-esque clusterfuck of rock chunks and dead trees, maybe a living juniper or two. Not big, not thick, more spread out than lush. Enough cluster to be shady and notably a bit of an oasis from the waste.

last night's one was like that : it started at the psychiatrist waiting room
a man tells me he will see me, i walk along the long ominous dimly lit hallway for a while

i meet the psychiatrist he is expecting me
in fact, it was a very famous man and scary, it was a bald guy with serious face
he was with patient girl at the same time and i enter the room like everything normal, he stops and tells me to sit down

he tells me to speak, there is a discussion i don't remember much about except it was unsettling and all of a sudden i start having the devil face, screaming and all, scared me irl

then i kill them and eat them
then i prostrate on the ground all spasming, irl spasming too i think, it's ugly naked with flesh everywhere, like porno

then i start running away, jump out the window

i keep messing around the place for a while, i meet someone, this time i look beautiful like op pic not ugly

this was felt like a deja vu

I get 3 types of nightmares. The first type is where I get embarrased for pooping infront of everyone or for walking naked infront of evetyone. The second type of nightmares that I get is where I want to do something but keep getting stuck doing some repetitive shit and end up never achieving my aim. The third type of nightmares that I get is where I'm being chased by some monster or the monster actually catches me and starts abusing me, it feels very real and I usually wake up.
