Sheepsquatch, also known as the "White Thing", is a woolly-haired cryptid reported across numerous counties in West Virginia, predominantly within the southwestern region of the state. The counties with the most sightings are Boone, Kanawha, Putnam and Mason, with a surge in sightings taking place in Boone County during the mid-1990s.

It is described as being a quadruped about the size of a bear, with entirely white wool-like fur. It has a long and pointed head, similar to a dog but with long, saber-like teeth and a single-pint set of horns not dissimilar from those found on a young goat. Its forelimbs end in paw-like hands, similar to those of a raccoon but larger, while its tail is long and hairless like that of an opossum. It is reputed to smell like sulfur, which has been attributed through folklore to the beast being born within the TNT Area in Mason County like one of the Mothman theories, though this is not likely and instead may be a musk scent gland similar to those found in many species in the order Carnivora such as weasels and skunks.

can anyone here possibly explain what i witnessed last night?

>looking out window the way i do every night

>immediately assume its an aircraft flying at very high altitude
>dont think much of it and continue doing what ever i was doing

>lookout window again
>light is still present within my feild of veiw but has obviously moved to the right and up a little

>watch it for a good 30 mins watching its movement
>it continues its movement to the north east in aspect to my window

now im definitely not an expert on aviation but the possibility it was a plan has to be very unlikely due to the small distance it traveled in such a long period of time and the size of the light in relation to the stars it passed by

What if we're in Limbo? Here me out.

Heaven's a different dimension; Hell's a different dimension. Neither of the two can, by definition, be in the same dimension together. This means we are, too, in a different dimension other than the two.

Now, from what I've studied Hell and Heaven aren't what Catholicism has depicted: it is not a physical place where souls are bound. Think of it more of an existence without the physical attributes attached to its reality.

But, take into our argument the idea that the choices we make on Earth decide where we end up. We're stuck until the end -- but there is not end, except death. And death, to God and Satan, is the final verdict, the judgment period for human beings.

Surely Earth cannot be so bad as Hell, the pain and suffering and meaningless is pales in comparison; so too does it pale in the light of Heaven and all its happiness and joy. So, don't you think that Heaven is the real purgatory for lost souls? I'd offer the idea that we're all lost in the absurdity of life -- though some of us choose to explore its absurdity without success. To the lucky few, however, Earth becomes a sort of purgatory, while to others its merely the Limbo state wherein they wait out their 80 years in angst for what is to come.

I know in another thread someone argued that Earth is really hell, but to that vein I'd argue that it is more of Limbo or Purgatory, depending.

Hey /x/,

I'm not really one to post on here, I more or less lurk and watch threads as they unfold and stuff..

Now, starting this thread wasn't just out of boredom, i'm coming here hoping that maybe someone has answers. I'm not really a superstitious guy, but I do believe in things existing that cannot yet be explained.

And that's why i'm here.

For the past few years (maybe 2-3) I've noticed something weird happening with my surroundings. Mainly just one thing really.

When i'm out walking on the street (either alone or with a friend) at least one random street light will go out or turn on when i get within 20-30 feet of it. It's actually become kind of a joke among my friends. "Oh anon, stop being a fuckin' xmen mutant" and all that shit.

but it actually happens so often that it's really got me in a mix of annoyance/curiosity.

Does anyone have any possible answers as to what could be causing this? It happens too often to be a coincidence.

This is unlikely to be paranormal, just like anything else here, but just curious as to what people have to say.

Ever since I was maybe nine, occasionally it would feel like there are two heavy things on the upper back of my head. Sort of feels like two large bowling balls or even sheep horns. It is almost irritating, makes me want to shake my head a lot.

I looked online and it seems to be called phantom limbs. Spoopy and unique. Maybe im a super speshul sheep stuck in a human body.

Anyone else get this phantom limb nonsense?

>still on lookout for the guard
>see a black shape between the planes, looks like a Jeep facing us
>hear muffled talking (sounded like a window may have been open)
>freak out, thinking they had noticed us and were calling the cops
>think about leaving
>decide we had driven too far to quit now
>man up, and decide to flash the car to see if they were facing us
>they were facing the the planes, and it turned out to be a black bmw(didn't see what year, looked newish) low to the ground
>turn off flashlight immediately
>hear the talking get louder and assumed it was about us
>decide to approach the car
>as we're about to step into the street we see a light at the end of the street( this was a major road and we assumed it was going to turn onto it)
>it kept getting brighter and closer
>it was a black suv
>booked it to the car
>drove home paranoid as hell
>get home research the airfield
>turns out it used to be owned by a CIA front company
>never went back

What the fuck is out there that would need the government to guard it, and come to think of it what kind of part time guard drives a bmw especially out onto the pothole filled road? Can anyone else find out anything on it? Its Gila River Memorial Airport, let me know.

Hello people of /x/

I want to share this story with you and to see if anyone has ever experienced anything similar to this.
Not going to greentext so please bear with it.

I was 19 at the time,serbfag.Day goes on as it usually does,school,vidya,dinner and bed.Entire night I have this one dream where i stand and see this ruined old house,with some bushes with white flowers beside it,my view is not clear tho,i see as if im peeking trough something,but i cannot move my head to see,nor i know where i am,or this house.It does look familiar to me,its like i have seen it before but i cant recall from where.Nothing happens i just stare in it and try to remember,for what it seem like hours,then i wake up.Getting ready for school,usually have a coffee with mom before she goes to work,talk to her about my dream.She says people dream weird stuff sometimes,anyway we change the subject and i dont think about it anymore trough the day.Come back from school,vidya,dinner bed.Bam...same dream..only this time..there is this stench,smells so fucking bad..its disgusting and i wanna puke from it,i never felt this shitty smell before..it was horrifically sour.Same view,same house,nothing is happening but the stench..house seems so familiar...but i just cant remember.at this point i know im dreaming and i know it was the same dream as yesterday.I wake up..same coffee with mom,I tell her about my dream again,she gives me this book that explains dreams,i read some stuff about dreaming house,bushes,white flowers,and awful as fuck smell,some random shit about it..nothing meaningful.month passes and i didnt have this dream only those 2 times.forget about it totaly and dont even care.
Then suddenly my uncle dies,he lives in same town as i do,only few streets away.like 20 mins walk.He died on saturday night 11:30,now in our religion or tradition,you cant bury people on sunday,so the funeral was to be held at monday.
