I'm here today to talk about Spirit Magic. This is a type of magic I'm pretty sure I invented because I don't see anyone else who does this particular type of Magic.

I will eventually write a book about it but I need help on what symbols to use for protection and what not.

Here's how the usual Spirit Magic session goes : You get a group together and sit around a round table. You get an idea of what you want to summon and write it down for all the group to see and have a clear idea of what this entity is and is not. You then light various candles on the table for a number of purposes. Then everyone sits at the table with their hands flat on the table. Make sure you have enough people to form a circle with as little space as possible between the people (you need at least 4 people total though). You then have one person speak to the spirit (make sure you decide a name for it) while the rest of the group focuses on bringing forth the spirit from the spirit world. Do not be startled if the table shakes or you hear knocks on it (that's a good sign). You then ask the spirit to inhabit an object for a specific purpose like protection and make sure this object is at the center of the table. At the end ask for a sign that the object has been possessed, you should hear a knock or the table should shake.

What do think so far /x/? This does seem to do something. I have made several rings of protection by summoning a guardian spirit. No one who has these rings has been harmed so far.

Are there any penalties, or do you think there would be, for releasing a soul by suicide? This is assuming souls exist and there is some sort of continuation after death, in some way.

Kind of a broad question, but what paranormal topic interests you the most /x/? Whether it be the occult, cover ups, cryptids, lost media, aliens etc.
Me personally, it's probably ghosts, shadow people more specifically.

Here on /x/, we read all these stories about different paranormal experiences, and some of them may be fake or creepy pasta or something. But what are the odds that out of thousands of stories, there are a few that are true and there are some things out there that we (nor science) cannot fully understand? Stories that cannot be explained fascinate me, and I want to know and maybe someday explore what's out there.

Sorcerer's and magicians, the legit kind I mean, how does one go about obtaining a spellbook? Or a lexicon, or necronomicon, or other sort of magical instructional textbook?

Do they sell them at Midwest flea markets? Because I went to one a few months ago, and a man with a scruffy beard tried to sell me a "necronomicon" for 15$

For the last coupke of years I have been having dreams, of a sort which seem lifelike and 'real'. In these dreams I go to a place that is rolling hills in a valley.

There are inhabitants of course, but at first they were animals, and the first time I can remember being there I was there with others. We saught refuge in an indentation in the valley wall, and were surprised to find that the animals we saw could talk. They didn't seem malicious, only helpful.

It was strange, as it wasnt one of thos quick dreams, i can remember feeling like i had been there for DAYS. And over time i notice all of us were starting to become more animalistic and aggressive.
I noticed we were turning into animals.

I cant really remember much as this was a while ago, but somehow i managed to get free.

Now, i don't know if it was just the leader or all of the inhabitants before us, but I can tell you for sure the leader ((what seemed to be a butterfly)) was a matriarchial faery of some sort.

-Side note: they had a ritual sacrifice every month or 30 years where a random one of them would be devoured((it was their only form of sustenance))-

I don't know why, but that place became somewhere that i frequently returned to in dreams, each time learning a little more and getting out easier. I am pretty sure they stopped giving a shit about me since they pay me no mind when i appear now. ((They thought human was delicious i think because they got excited when one showed up near a "feast" night too soon to go through the change.))

I believe this place to possibly be a place out of time, or one of the many connections to the universal subconscious theorized by Karl Jung. I have had a lot of other 'psychic' experiences, and this one is just too uncanny and similar to them to be a normal dream, as im a dumbass with no attention to detail i couldnt possibly create a world like that and keep it exactly the same each time.
