About a week or so ago, I came to /x/ with an issue concerning my path towards enlightenment. A lot of anons provided me with very insightful advice, and I'm doing much better as a result. There is still a lot to work out but I've decided to commit myself to fulfilling my ambitions of becoming a voudon gnostic. Just wanted to give back by giving everyone what few skeleton pictures I possess and some general advice for those treading the path of enlightenment. I'm no expert but I'll share what I can.

I love it, but it's easy to get burned out. I tend to listen to four or five episodes then give it a break for a few weeks.
I've been listening to some other fictional horror themed podcasts and I currently have two I think some /x/-philes might enjoy.
The first is called Limetown, which is about a fictional documentary piece being run on an event in which a company/science research town called Limetown went nuts and then had every person in the town mysteriously vanish without any trace. As the podcast continues, the reporter gets sucked into the mystery and conspiracy.
The other is The Black Tapes which is definitely on the more amateurish side, but also more fun, ostensibly about another running series documentary about the paranormal where the host teams up with a professional skeptic to review over the cases he's never solved.

I was told there are legitimately smart people on here and that I should bring this up in this forum, but this is something that I don't think the average person would know about but eitherway I need help please.
There is a "leprechaun" in my house. I saw him for the first time a little bit over a week ago. I need help on how to get rid of him, everything google brings up is kindergarten projects and "fun traps", but this is more complicated than that. He is VERY small, smaller than the threads of my carpet. I had no idea what I was looking at but I somehow saw him. I'm not sure if they are attracted to mediums or spiritual people, but since this isn't the most bizarre situation I've ever been in, I did try open communication. I said "Hello. My name is Julie and I'm a human.. Why are you in my house?" Of course my mind raced to gold and the word "catching" definitely came up, but this guy is way too small and I have no idea what I'm up against. I would love theories, dreams/experiences to information on things as races or genders(?), anything from cliche to the out-there. I'm pregnant with my first baby, and if this had happened any other time I would have been ecstatic with curiosity but I don't want any trouble. In the myths I've always heard, these guys cast curses and tricks/delusions, so I'm guessing a "trap" isn't that simple, especially because remember he is small so throwing or using any type of physical weapon would probably be pointless. I do not want to make him angry so please help me figure out a way to help him LEAVE and not actually kill him. I've always had spirits in my house but ever since I saw this thing my husband has been sobbing in his sleep and things are falling/moving around late at night. My dog also seems on-edge and i'm worried about her. Like i said I'm no stranger at all to the supernatural but this is something I have no experience at all in whatsoever. book ideas? websites? information at all?

Found the book, but I don't think it was leprechauns after all. I guess it depends whether or not you consider them of the fair folk.
Usually, from what I have heard, they're not malicious as much as mischievous. It probably just wants to mess around. If you tell it you're not interested in its games or its gold and you want it to leave, chances are, it'll probably listen and move on for a more reactionary target.

Let's have a Lucifer thread. None of that edgy kid, Satanic bible hoopla propaganda. Just a discussion about the being and angel.
Honestly I've always figured the being was misunderstood. God gave his angels independence and free will. Yet he ordered them to worship and obey him. Lucifer refuses to bend his knee and is condemned. God makes man ignorant and unlike angels. Lucifer tells Eve to eat the apple of knowledge and free her children from the shackles of a stalwart oppressor. With eternal solitude towards an oppressive deity eventual death sounds more like freedom.
Not saying Lucifer is some saint. He's vain and flawed but in a certain way since he's done more unknowingly good for the human race than most consider. I've always perceived it was a false title given to him to keep the sheep in flock. A boogy man to scare away free thought and independence.
What's your take on the character? Evil goatman? Tragic hero? Figment of human creation? Still an interesting character regardless.

So I don't know how popular the thread was or anything like that, but a while back someone posted here about travelling to another world via a cave and when he returned from that cave he kind of lost his mind and started seeing shit.
Here's the update to the Red Sun story. I'm Bryan's roommate.
A few months ago, I came home to find Bryan sitting down on the floor covered in blood. He didn't look like he was in pain. In fact, he had a massive grin on his face. He had gouged out both eyes with a knife.
I called the ambulance and had him rushed to the hospital, and that's when he told me what happened.
He said he went to the other world to explore it, but while there his friends were picked off one by one by monsters as punishment for looking at the red sun.
He said he gouged out his eyes as penance for the sin of looking. From my perspective, he went on a trip to go explore this cave, and when he left he was a normal guy who was passionate about occult things and loved the paranormal.
When he came back, he was a totally different person - a crazed, paranoid shut in who rarely talked. I was honestly considering kicking him to the curb because he had lost his mind, stopped leaving his room, stopped showering, and barely ate.
Now that he's blind, he's regained a bit of his old personality. But he's still very unstable, mentally. He's not living with me anymore, he's gone back to live with his parents for the time being until he's fully recovered.
Before he left, he gave me some information, told me to look into things, and post my findings here.
At first, I figured he was just a guy who snapped and lost his marbles, or made up a wild story. That's probably what you think now.
The information he gave me turned out to be a list of names. I quickly deduced that these were the people who entered the cave with him.

There were 5 people he asked me to look into, including the one who originally showed him the cave but didn't enter with him.

The first, according to my investigation, committed suicide by jumping onto the subway tracks, the night after he returned.
The second was found dead of a drug overdose in her dorm room.
The third died after falling asleep at the wheel while driving - in broad daylight.
The fourth ended up choking to death on food.
And finally, the original person who told Bryan about the cave and showed him where to find it went missing, and has not been seen since. apparently the night he disappeared, he was seen by his family rambling about the Red Sun and wondering aloud if "they" would be able to find him.
He's likely dead now too.
Bryan, while in the hospital, recorded his theories on his phone. There are several hours-long rants which he gave to me, which involve him describing in detail everything that happened, and what he thinks it means. If you're interested, I can sum up those theories.
