Spooky first hand stories? This happened to me last night and as its almost time for me to sleep I guess I'll spook myself a little.
>around 12:45 am, about to sleep
>lying in bed as you do
>be about to fall asleep when I hear something outside
>semi conscious, assume it's nothing
>hear footsteps around in my back yard
>kinda creeped
>decide to go look from the spare bedroom since there's a view of the entire garden from there
>open the curtain and look out, there's someone stood there
>look of human shape but whatever or whoever it is, they're super tall
>at least 7 foot tall
>they're just standing there slightly crouched, like they're looking into the window of the room I was sleeping in
>close curtains and go to the hallway to turn the outside light on
>make the mistake of turning the inside light on instead, which they see
>run up the garden
>I'm confused by this since if they were an intruder or robber, they'd have taken the same exit from back yard as its the only way in or out
>wall opposite the house is at least 8 feet tall and the neighbour above have a garden on the top of there
>wall to the left is another tall wall covered in Ivy
>they choose to run to the back wall rather than to the right where they must have entered
>as they reach the wall I turn the outside lights on
>the tall person/shadow dude seems to fade in waves (hard to explain), like they're fading out in second intervals
>completely gone within about 4 seconds
>can't believe whatever I saw
>checked all the doors and closed my window in case it was a burglar but I doubt that now

how do you find out if it's really the devil (or any high-ranking demon/angel) you are "communicating" with or just a lower spirit or fairy pretending to be, using trickery to fuck with you?
getting messages that the devil wants to kill me by putting some antichrist spawn in my body when I use methods of divination, but I wonder if it's just some low rank spirit fucking with me and my fears?
