I was on a trip to Burlington, NC today and was informed of a legend regarding a local high school. The legend is, a girl was asked to prom by the star quarterback who subsequently stood her up. Distraught, she threw herself from the third floor of the school.
Rumor has it, if you look up at the window from which she threw herself and start insulting her, she will appear in the window. There is also a stop sign behind the school which is rumored to bleed.
I couldn't help but test it, since we were passing through that area. First of all, the school is creepy as shit as-is. Very run-down and distraught, although it's still operational. There's also a creepy-ass statue of the school's mascot (a bulldog) in the back.
We went around back to where the window in question was. I called out the girl's name and informed her I'd taken a long trip to see her, and that I'd appreciate her coming to visit. Before I could finish my sentence, this really cute girl walked up to the window with a stone-faced expression. My heart skipped a beat, but I decided to smile and wave. She then smiled very warmly and waved back. I guess it was just a student who was there for drama rehearsal (there were cars in the parking lot and the window was linked to the auditorium). Must have been privy to the rumor and accustomed to morons coming in from out of town and trying it out. Her response time was quick, though, and she definitely nailed the ghostly facial expression.
We then checked out the ghostly stop sign, which I thought would be immaculate until you started insulting it. It's just smeared with some sort of fake blood (despite being there for several months, it's still red as opposed to the brownish hue that blood turns after a while). Kinda corny, but probably some sort of school tradition, as this phenomenon allegedly persists even after the city changes the stop sign.
Have you ever tested an urban legend and yielded some results, paranormal or not?

One time when I was sleeping in my room. I felt a strange sensation which naturally woke me up. I was laying there for about 10 minutes, when suddenly I heard what sounded like hooves galloping out of my room. My mother who was taking a piss came walked into my room and asked what was that? I just shrugged while we both sat there scared shitless. So tell me /x/ what exactly could this be?

So last night I had a really weird dream.
I usually remember my dreams but I can only remember this one in bits.
To start I am not a very religious person but I remember praying had protected me in the dream against something I do not recall.
Right before I woke up is where it gets weird
I remember looking down at my hands as I was praying for whatever reason and everything turned black. Thats when I saw the text "March 26th" in red letters all over (over 10 times scattered throughout the 'picture') thats the best way i can explain it. Anybody have any idea what this means?

In the last years, I've noticed a loud, consistent, strange noise that pops up around my area out of nowhere. It would show up any time, be it around 4 AM or 12 PM.
Oddly enough, the noise sounds like a mix between a machine and dogs howling. It can't be dogs because, even though sometimes dogs around those streets answer to it, the noise resonates non-stop, without a need to “breathe”. Plus, it lacks the harmonic complexity of a dog howl. I additionally believe it is not a machine of any kind (I thought it was a very loud vacuum cleaner in the past) since the sound feels too synthesized, and it comes from completely different directions.
And who uses a vacuum cleaner at 4 AM?

Yes, my street is extremely noisy, I am sorry for that.
Despite the bad quality of the recordings, I was able to equalize them and barely find out a few portions of the structure of the sound. It seems like it's composed of three notes: One (the most jumpy one) tends to slide from 840Hz to 874Hz and back, the second one stands around 947Hz, and the third one stands aroud 972Hz.
I've synthesized the sound so that you can hear it and fill up the gaps if there is anything I've missed (turn your volume down). The lowest tone is playing in 840Hz for simplicity's sake:

It used to happen more often in the past, but since I've been far away from home more frequently, I'm not able to hear it all the time.
I've only spoken to one household about it, and they had the same conclusion as me, that it was probably just someone using a very loud machine. They still agreed it sounds really fucking eerie, and couldn't make out where it was coming from.
My girlfriend heard it once when she was around here too. She listened closely to it and couldn't come to any conclusion besides saying it sounds like “some really weird dogs howling”.

What does it mean when you have birth marks in a shape of a star constellation on your body? I have the Orion's belt on my chest and other areas of the body. My birthmarks always appear in the shape of the Orion's belt. The angles are identical and the sizes match the stars.
