Hey /x/.
Its been a very sad month for my family and I. My grandfather fell very I'll after taking chemotherapy for his myeloma a couple months after a hip surgery. The oral chemo. Left his body very weak which allowed an infection to take root and cause sepsis and thus begin shutting down his lungs and kidney. He developed pneumonia among other complications and was rushed to the ICU in Florida, where he spends the winter months. His hip surgery was done in North Carolina.
He was placed on ventilators and given medication to fight the infection and his kidney recovered somewhat but the damage to his lungs was pretty severe. After they had thought he was well enough to be off a ventilator for a couple of days, he was told he would either need to be out on a ventilator long term, to which his quality of life would severely degrade for years. He decid d to go for a DNR within hospice. He has been fighting for a few days in hospice.
Here's where things get weird. Whole sitting on the patio at hospice with my Uncle and his wife while playing guitar, I began hearing an old 90s monotone ringtone playing We Wish You A Merry Christmas. It was clear enough for me to stop and ask if they heard it. My uncle didn't but his wife did. We just assumed it was an alarm or a.phone or something.
However, I found out later tonight my brother and my father and my.Uncle then heard it coming from the corner of his hospice room. NO ONE HAS THIS RINGTONE. All of us have smart phones. Even WEIRDER when I get out of the bath tonight at my grandma's house where we are all staying, which is 20 miles from hospice mind you, my uncle and his wife tell me they heard it coming from the river in their backyard clear as day. I am freaking out you guys. As if that isn't weird enough a couple hours later we are out back again and we hear it so I say "Grandpa, is that you?" And it COMES CLOSER.
NO BULLSHIT. We had plans to spend Christmas but they failed.
Sorry I have to share this. I am freaking out with excitement guys. Its pretty fucking crazy!
I really don't know how to take this guys it's been such a crazy crazy month...
Anyone have any input on this or similar stories from family deaths? I have always heard lights flicker or something but never music. My grandfather LOVED music and he passed that love on to me so I think that's why it may be a song rather than a feeling or visual communication.
I am always here, can you find it

If you were born immortal at what age would you figure it out? Assume aging stopped once the brain was fully mature (in late 20's).
>>17465612
Probably soon after your late 20's. The most specific you make your questions, the more likely you are to see the answer before you ask them.
You're not immortal, trust me.
18 or 19. Pleiadian DNA can unlock immortality in eastern or northern european human bloodlines assming their DNA is not spliced with Reptile genes too heavly

Insane/Mentally disturbed youtubers thread?
Pls no "hur dur random spoopy clips of dolls with broken accordian music over it and cryptic numbers"

Sounds interesting, I'll try to find something later.
I'm on mobile and forget the name of the lady but she's legit fucked in the head. She runs a Columbine fan page on YouTube and all her videos are about how much she loves Eric Harris. Also you can see her comments on other videos about how the victims deserved it for hurting "her baby". Also I'm not 100% sure but I think she's a failed actress. I can confirm if any of you find her channel. She's blonde and has Botox lips. Honestly makes me goddamn shake.

Hey /x/ im thinking about joining the Freemasons should i be worried? also can anyone tell me someone tell me about their "secrets"?
>>17465406
The only Freemason "secret" I know is is that there is no secret.
But obviously and organization that opposed the fairies would only ever tell a fairy that there was no secret, so I tend not to believe in their lies.
You're a cunt OP. kill yourself
>>17465406
Nothing supernatural about them to spook you and unless you are a billionaire you won't know the secrets

Meditation discussion thread
I am looking to start an insight meditation practice, but there are so many different instructions on proper technique, each claiming to be the best one (some reccomend noting sensations others don't etc). Can anyone provide decent guidance on vipassana/insight meditation?

Where the fuck are you getting your information?
Do you actively seek out scams or something?

namefag getting rekt
Hey /x/
I just got back from visiting my parents, and my father showed me a strange carved rock he found when he was young. He's suspected for some time that the rock may have given him bad luck throughout his life, and he wanted me to see if I could find any information or insight into what it was. He's had it in his possession more-or-less for the last 50 years.
The story he told was back when he was a young teenager he found the rock down the hill from a burn pit, where (I guess?) many different people from the area would go to burn old garbage and furniture and such. He grew up in Western PA about an hour north of Pittsburgh, and his age would place the event somewhere in the early-to-mid 1960s.
The stone has a face on one side, and some strange rune-like symbols on the back. At some point, it split in half somehow, I didn't get the full story there. I also asked about the shiny/wet spots, and he said that he presumes it's some sort of oily runoff from the burn pit up the hill from where he found the rock.
I have a couple more pictures that I took, although they're not the clearest quality because of my Android PotatoCam. I did try to get some up-close shots with the help of a magnifying glass, which I'll post as well. Now, I wouldn't say I'd be fully surprised if /x/'s opinion is just that some kid carved up a rock 50 years ago, but on the off-chance that somebody here suspects this thing *is* actually causing him bad luck, I'd like more information on it or possibly a good means of getting rid of it.
Close up of "front" of the rock, the carved face
Closer photo of "back". Is anyone familiar with runes or symbols?
>>17465068
whats in the middle? why is it 2 pieces
Anyone know how to get there? My friend left for awhile and it's getting prettying fucking annoying and I don't know how to do it and he said that he doesn't trust me doing it cause I might end up getting hurt or some shit.
So your friend is currently on an astral plane? Like he just vanished?
>>17465047
Well he said he was going for a it before he left. This was in August and he said he'll be back in 5 months.
Bump.
Because so alone.
And this life is just a nightmare ?
No, get out.

This is hell anon.

Hello again, /x/.
I come with new findings.
https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=zKSrQStze_fA.ktN-mkw7BKGM
For the people who werent able to follow the thread yesterday, here is a link to the story:
Story: http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2015/10/08/sheriff-body-of-missing-monticello-man-found-in-mississippi-river/
tl;dr version of the story:
>Witnesses said Brunn, who was attending a wedding earlier on the night of Friday, Oct. 2, walked away from Boondox Bar and Grill in Otsego around 2 a.m. Saturday morning and wasn’t seen again. Some stated he walked into a cornfield near the Holiday Inn Twin Cities location in Otsego.
>That field, along with many others, was searched over the course of several days, until Brunn’s body was discovered by searchers in the river on the morning of Thursday, Oct. 8.
>The body was found approximately 300 yards south of the Minnesota 101 Bridge and 30 feet from shore.
The part that isnt told:
>While thousands of people came to search for Joe, dogs picked up a scent that took them the opposite way of eye witness testimony, down a street and ending underneath a streetlight
(All of these things can be seen in the first link i posted.)
This is how many cases in the midwest have ended, and until recently, have been brought back to life due to an SCSU criminal justice professor and two NYPD police officers. These cases are now being given a better look at, potentially giving them rest.
>>17464545
I missed the old thread so forgive me if you explained, but how is this a smiley face murder if there was no smiley face found at the scene?
>>17464682
The similarities of the case. I have yet to go down there, as i fish there a few times a week during spring/summer/fall. It should be nice enough for me to run out there this week, though. Maybe if this thread blows up i'll run down there and check it out.

Which is has not, nor will it. I love how x is filled with 90% garbage and you all whine about it not being what it use to be, yet i find legit oc post thats creepy as fuck youre all too busy because youd rather pretend demons are real and you need a tarot thread to tell you how to feel about it. This shit is literally unfolding in front of us, RIP /x/
