anyone got pdfs of some of the Temple of Maergzjirah's grimoires? I don't much care for their bizarre necromancy (mostly because I don't have the cash to partake) but some of the art of seen from book previews and things like that look great, and as an artist I'd like to be able to study these and see if I can incorporate some of their stylistic choices into my work.

Their website and this doc looks like some next level roleplay. I'd get my info from Mike Ford or Koetting before these cats.

What thoughts are you thinking right now that you know, full well, you shouldn't be? What questions lurk in the recesses of your mind that you will most assuredly regret asking should you find them? Has your existence really been made any better by probing the curiosities of this internet image forum?

It helped
Naah, my life was made better when my ideals ended up in kids cartoons. After I shitposted them on here.
I dared to think and found my body to be an abomination, a mockery of form and function, which serves no purpose other than to anchor me to a "existence" of which I am a hapless spectator of. My thoughts and free will are nothing more than the illusion of chemical processes rigidly set in place by the happenstance of millions of years of genetics and a myriad of other factors well outside the realm of my control. As such I am merely an actor, a puppet on strings who must play out his part determined for him since well before his birth for only on the quantum level does true randomness exist - does the illusion of freedom take any tangible form.
I started to smell some strange scent last night. It's like some kind of metal, copper maybe. I also heard footsteps but that could be an animal or the wind. Any idea what that might be?
A plumber.
Unexplained metallic smells are an early sign for many forms of cancer. Brain, in particualar.

Yeah. Brain bleed. Good luck.

Not sure, have a source? Google doesn't show much.
Found in bing.com:
Sun and Moon eclipse often be linked with wolves. In West Eurasian book of helmsman (year of 1218) was said:
"When Moon or Sun dying folks said: Werewolves have eat Moon or Sun!"

What are you afraid of?
How will you overcome your fear?
>>17466823
>>17466823
Only way to overcome fear is to face it and once you do go gain the power of the fear you've overcome, what also work is not giving a shit about fear, its it meant to happen so be it.

Driving
The good ol' Nike slogan.
I'm not entirely sold on past lives but they're real then I probably died/suffered from a car crash in one.
Hi there /x/.
So I don't ever come here, but I just had a really bad spook.
It's about 6am and I was laying down upstairs. My gf left for work about 3 hours ago, and I stayed up to do some reading on my phone. I shut my phone off for a little and about 10 minutes later my body began to act strange.
I began to get a severe headache. My head had so much pressure inside it felt like it was going to explode. About every 30 seconds the pressure would subside for a few seconds only to come back just as severe. There was a constant ringing in my ears, and I felt like there was someone right next to me outside of the covers staring at me. After about 5 minutes, the pain, pressure and ringing left. All was calm but it still felt as if there was another presence still existed in the house.
I have only experienced this once before. It occurred at a similar time, in the same room. The first time I thought my body was responding to a home intruder. It woke me up in the middle of the night that time, and I figured that my body was trying to warn me about some kind of impending danger.
All I want to know, is what the actual fuck is going on? I am downstairs right now on the couch with the TV on, and I feel fine. The cats seem to be acting up a little, but that's nothing new. What do I do /x/?
Could be an aneurysm, dude. You should tell a doctor about this.
The feeling of a presence is a symptom of sleep paralysis, but you didn't describe anything else that indicates that.
It does not have to be an aneurysm. But nevertheless a doc might be able to help. It does not sound like the description of any kind of spook.

Alright I think I might go to urgent care later today. Anything I should be careful about until then? Thanks for your replies.

Then get to it slut.
If someone were to go back in time and give society a piece of technology that hadn't been invented at that point, but we only have that technology because of someone doing the same for us, how was it originally invented?
>>17466410
By stealing it from somewhere else. You have to unpack the loop.
>>17466482
So how far does the loop go? At some point in a particular timeline that technology has to be invented independently of time travelers.
>>17466503
Correct; you have to understand how to unpack the loop recursively, in case the loop has been there for eternity. It rarely ever is. I think my personal record was something like 43 loops back.
Do you believe that magic/supernatural phenomena exist at all?
If so, do you believe that any humans actually know about it? Not just people who think that exists, but people who have some form of concrete undeniable evidence of its existence / practitioners.
If you answered yes in some way to the above questions, who/what groups do you think have access to it? How have they managed to keep it a secret?
>>17466223
Nope.
Everything is 'supernatural' until we find an explanation for it.
Still fun to think about.
>>17466223
Yes magic is VERY real.. there are many things in this universe that are impossible to understand or explain. However, it is within each individual to recognize this on their own free WILL I could tell you everything, but it isn't anything to you until you allow it/believe it to be. Not an RP fag, just someone who has an open mind n can accept that some things will never be able to be explained. Don't let it scare you, I think the unknown/chaotic side scares a lot of people so they refuse to allow it into their reality if you understand.
I believe in magic.
In a young girl's heart.

You'd think in [currentYear] we'd have HD on our videos, right?
I mean, I know that AYYs are suppose to be kinda' shy, but how the fuck hasn't a single person with a phone from the last 5 years manage to film one of these things?
But Stephen McShakeyCam is always in the right location with his two-dollar throw-away phone from the 70s?
what's some essential occult or pagan things to have?
i'm not a believer, i just love the stuff.
what i'm working on collecting
>Tarot cards
>Evil eye ward
>bible, koran and torah all at once
>rosary, bodi tree prayer beeds

Then wtf do you care? Just collect fucking Halloween decorations and shit from head shops in tourist towns until it looks "spooky and magical".
When I was a child I would frequently have these horrible nightmares that had nothing to do with anything that would classify as scary.
The nightmare started with a small orb or circular shape object and it would start expanding and growing in size and I would start seeing more circular objects starting to expand and grow in size and that was it, that was my nightmare. Off hand it doesn't even mean anything but the feeling I would experience in these dreams were utterly horrible. I remember the feeling of being completely hopeless, an unimaginable terror as if all the light in existence was being vacuumed out and I was left in total darkness. The feeling was just pure evil and as the orbs grew I just felt like I would die.
These nightmares were very frequent as a kid but they stopped maybe around 6th grade. Sometimes I still think about them and just shudder. Couple years ago I was at the breakroom during lunch at work and my coworker started talking about nightmares. He mentioned as kid he would have these weird nightmares about "bubbles" growing larger and larger and as he stopped because my eyes started to widen and I had this look of fear. I told him about my nightmares and we must of talked about this for the next couple of days. I'd like to know if there is anyone else here that has experienced something similar?
picture is one of the "Outer ones" named Yog-Sothoth from Lovecraftian horror, its the closest picture I found with orbs and a reference to horror.
op here >
My coworker talked about the same type of feeling he experienced during his "bubble" nightmare. An unescapable horror.

Well, honestly, I DID just think about this today.
Career science teacher, paranormal researcher, and Bigfoot expert, Thom Powell joins Connie Willis (email) to discuss scientific mysteries that all relate to a central theme: many of the stars we see are inhabited by sentient beings that are fully aware of Earth and the sometimes inept humans that inhabit it.
>>17466057
>Connie Willis
I do like her interviewing style.
She is very alert, quick, good clear voice with out stupid laughter like that new female host has from MITD show.
Should be good show tonight

This guest has very interesting new angle on big foot story.
I like what he said that much proper name is Sasquatch not Big foot.Makes sense.
Connie is doing great job.
There's no such thing as bigfoot. Also nice thread. Three posts after three hours and forty minutes and all three are from the same ip.
Will there ever be a J Horror as good as (or better than) Noroi again?
