Is that really the original Picture?
Got a bit of an odd story, if you guys are interested
> Be last night
> Working nights at a call center
> Grill co-worker goes out to smoke pot around 1
> Sees truck with it's engine running
> weird but whatever, she doesnt smoke up and comes back in
> Around 3 we go on another break and decide to light up together as usual
> Go outside, truck is still there and running
> Very clearly no driver, truck isnt large enough to have a bed in the back and if he was asleep he would've been clearly in the window as a light was shining on his track so we could see no one was there
> Weird
> Think maybe something happened and discuss calling the company to get truck
> All of a sudden engine revs the fuck up super loud
> Get this bad gut feeling
> Walk out of sight of truck but can still hear the engine revving up over and over
> Once out of sight, engine goes back to normal
> Go out for last break at 6 to get food
> We walk past again, both times this happens again
> Still no one in it, and it's light out so it's clear no one is in there
> Friend who cames back from their 7 o'clock break comes in
> Ask if he saw the truck
> Yeah it drove around the parking lot twice
> wat
> "Did you see the driver?"
> "no"
what the fuck happened
Sounds like a stalker desu.

Did anybody else see that?!? The entire sky was flashing different colours. I swears I'm not crazy, but it was the craziest thing I've ever seen by far. A little terrifying
I'm in southern Ontario so I'm especially interested in people in that general area on the planet.
Basically I saw (at around 12am) the entire sky flash pinkish purple (which is a normal colour for lighning) so I didn't think much of it, but then seconds later it flashes yellow, green, red, a whole bunch of colours like a strobe light.
>>17508549
Shits gonna start getting much crazier. In the words of a great man. "Hold on to your butts"
A whole world of little children

You saw the Northern Lights, good for you.
I swear these stupid "Did anyone see/hear that?!" threads need to be banned on sight.
About 15 years ago, back when I was in high school, one of my best friends decided he needed to get in touch with his roots. Being a quarter Cherokee, he sought out help from a Medicine Man at a near-by reservation.
Since I was the one with the car, I took him and dropped him off for a weekend for a sweat lodge and all that "getting in touch with the ancestors" stuff they do. When I came back to get him, the old medicine man pulled him aside before he left and said something to him quietly, casting glances in my direction.
On the ride back, I asked about it and he said to me that the old man warned him about me, telling him "you can't trust those like him, those who were never born." My friend brushed it off and we kinda just laughed about it, thinking he probably didn't like me because I was typical white dude number 083 or whatever.
Fast-forward to last night, when I learned that in fact, I was never born. My mother had an emergency c-section because the umbilical cord had managed to tangle around my neck multiple times.
Although there's no possible way that medicine man knew me or my parents or the circumstances of my birth through mundane means, it did leave me curious, and so I come to you /x/; do any of you know any legends or lore regarding those who were never born?
He was discriminating against you on a technicality. Tell him that's racist and bigoted, and that you prefer to be called a "C-lestial", not "Neverborn".
>>17508518
The idea of going back to a rez and telling off some old Cherokee medicine man 15 years later is kind of amusing, but I think I'll pass on that.
Birth
Noun
>the emergence of a baby or other young from the body of its mother; the start of life as a physically separate being.
He was clearly talking about some dumb native American shit.

Does anyone else have a dream world that is fleshed out in your subconscious, but largely unavailable to you in your waking hours?
Over the last 5-7 something years since I graduated from college, I have been "building" this dream world that is extremely vivid and complex. It features many elements and people from my everyday life, but it is also complicated as there seems to be some kind of underlying plot or story that my mind predetermined (a sort of dramatic thread that stemmed from an early incident that a dream-colleague has been whittling down suspects for).
I am awake right now so I can't really remember any sort of fine detail, just some of the color impressions and a few of the happenings of the last dream...but there is this lingering feeling when I think of this world while I am awake that I believe is what pulls me back into the framework when I am asleep and dreaming.
I have done a lot of reading on dreams and somnambulant experiences, but I have stayed mostly in the academic and scientific realm. There are not many reported cases of created worlds *exclusively* in dreams (usually the world interferes with sensory perception while awake in schizotypical and parapsychotic individuals).
I do not take psych drugs except for a benzo for anxiety and I do not experience this "created" world during waking hours, nor do I experience and elaborate upon the dream world on a consistent schedule (that I have recognized).
Has anyone else experienced this sort of phenomenon? I have avoided any sort of metaphysical sources as they never reach the root of the question, but I know that metaphysical approaches to solutions have sometimes lead to the discovery of more concrete info.
It's not something I have a say in "building" so to speak but sometimes when I dream the locations are the same. Same places, same buildings that have been used for various dreams almost like a movie set.
I'm sure if I sat down and thought about it long enough I could build a "map" of sorts of all the reoccuring locations in my dreams and what they are in correlation to the real world. Usually most of the time they have little to know semblance of the area at all. I.E Virginia Beach VA IRL is sort of a suburb with a beach, not much of a beach town. In my dream world lots of fields of cat tails, salt water marshes and small towny type things, country road style and a small tucked away beach.

Yes OP, you can achieve this "dream world" through meditation and visualisation. It can then be accessible to you even in your waking hours of course.
Any one know the real story on this one? I've heard about the teacher and the students but I can't seem to find the actual story. Also Japanese urban legend thread
