hi /x/, I'm a CNA in a nursing home. one of my residents that i was working with today is actively dying. I was in his room organizing his things and he was looking behind me and said "you've got a helper with you!". there was no one else in the room. I said, "it's just you and me in here" and he replied "well the helper sure has a deep voice!" i quickly finished the task and walked out of his room to find the nurse asking why i was so pale. the nurse said it was probably a grim reaper-like entity that comes near death. i told another worker that and she flipped shit too. did i just come between the resident and the grim reaper?

don't know if you're asking if that's me, but it's not. i posted on here about a month ago, and that was before i started working night shift. my perspective has really changed since then.

Can you have overactive third eye and crown chakras with weak chakras below, such as throat (communication), solar plexus, etc
>>17722674
I have a hard time buying the chakra system as it is taught, as energy vortices in the subtle body influencing various areas of the psyche and metabolism. That being said, regardless of its authenticity, even if they are merely symbols of different layers of the human being, yes I do believe it is very possible to have stronger chakras above and weaker chakras below. Try and picture what kind of person that would be, somebody who's sahasrara is wide open like a portal, but who's muladhara is totally sealed and clouded. Or, worse yet in my opinion, somebody who is both grounded in this life and connected to the higher realms, but who's heart is shut up and they cannot bring the two together in Union.
TL;DR yes
yes my crown and third eye were open af but my root was closed, did a balancing meditation and now I am gr8
>>17722685
how to balance mdetitation?
Let's talk about little strange things that happens regularly to you

You know those strings you sometimes see in front of your eyes right?
I have that constanstly at work but it seems like its stuck in place and blinks in only from time to time
What if the entire space travel program was actually a hoax? Yes I am serious, and yes I believe I have some evidence that points to this.
I do believe that mankind has made several honest attempts to leave earth’s atmosphere, however, upon finding they couldn’t (I’ll explain why space travel is impossible), the Nazi organization known as NASA couldn’t let the earth shattering information they discovered in earth’s atmosphere escape because it would challenge what science has taught for 400 years.
FACT: NASA doesn’t hide the fact that the most influential scientist in all of space travel history was a Nazi.
Wehrner von Braun created the V2 rocket. That means the technology for space travel came from the mind of a Nazi.
theory of space travel because somewhere above the earth’s atmosphere is a secret so big the government, the Nazi’s, NASA, and all other groups working behind the scenes will stop at nothing to keep it hidden.
THE TRUTH: The sky is made of glass, and there is an ocean above it.
That’s right. Nobody can just come and go from this planet. There is a VAST ocean above our planet kept in by a massive glass stucture created by God Himself.
The Bible is clear there is water above the firmament ( Genesis 1:6-7, Psalm 148:4)
And in order to support this water, the firmament must be solid. Indeed, Scripture tells us this as well. (Job 37:18)
What if it is? What are you gonna do about it faggot?
That doesn’t automatically discredit space travel though.
True, but what does discredit space travel is science, logic, and Scripture.
Firstly, Nazis have an agenda. Why was Wehrner working on developing a rocket anyway? What was the obession with getting to space?
Mankind already tried to reach space in Genesis 11. They tried to build a tower “whose top may reach unto heaven.”
God clearly thwarted this attempt to reach space because God gave man dominion over the earth, not the heavens.
Which is presicely why Lamentations 3:34 refers to humans as “prisoners of the earth.” We are stuck on this planet and couldn’t get out if we tried.
More importantly, Scripture debunks the theory of space travel because somewhere above the earth’s atmosphere is a secret so big the government, the Nazi’s, NASA, and all other groups working behind the scenes will stop at nothing to keep it hidden.
When mankind discovered this, they knew it would confirm the Bible and disprove the helicentric model taught for centuries in public schools, and therefore bring people to faith in Jesus Christ.
The principalites and powers couldn’t have that.
So they raised up the Nazis to bring about this space travel hoax and deceive billions into believing our sky is only gas and has no ocean, thereby trying to discredit Scripture and puff up man in their wisdom.
Who are you going to believe? The Bible which teaches there is water above the sky? Or Nazis?

Believing either is irresponsible and ignorant.

I think we can all agree – most of the creepy pastas being posted nowadays are shit. It's the same old stuff, over and over again. “Innawoods”. “Hairy monster”. “Shot it with my gun”. “I'm scared, and I don't know what to do”. Why don't you kill yourself?
But it doesn't have to be this way. There is a core set of concepts at work in every horror story ever written, and once you know them, it's easy to take some novel ideas and make them into a scary story. It's so easy in fact, that after learning them, you might be motivated to write some creepy pasta yourself.
Come on. I know you've thought about it. I know you've got a few killer ideas floating around your head. But how do you execute them? Fear not, as the basics of horror writing have been well-established. In the following essay, available for free on JSTOR but posted here page by page for convenience, the fundamental concepts of horror will be laid out piece by piece. I'll be posting this essay one page at a time, along with my own summary and analysis of the contents. Following that, I'll analyze a few well-known creepy pasta, showing how these principles are well at work, even in the creepy pastas we've all known and have come to love.
>>17719685
Page 1 doesn't offer much, just the typical academia type stuff you usually see in these types of essays. The author defines what exactly he means by the term "horror", and differentiates what he calls "art horror" from the type of horror one might experience when, say, reading about a terrorist attack. His definition of horror also excludes mundane things like muggers or kidnappers. Those things can be frightening, but they're not “horror” in the sense that this essay will be discussing.
>>17719690
Page 2. Continues with some of the stuff introduced on page 1, but gets to the first noteworthy insight: horror stories contain some kind of monster/malevolent entity, AND - and this is important - the entity is seen as a violation of the natural order. This natural order need not necessarily be our own, but is defined by the story itself. Fairies, for example, are normal in a fantasy story, but could understandably be met with horror in a story where fairies are not supposed to exist (just picture yourself in bed, trying to sleep, and you look at your window you see a fucking fairy staring at you). This is a major component of all horror stories. The malevolent force/monster is an abnormality – a violation of nature. It's also perceived as a threat. But the essay will get to that.
This page also introduces another fundamental of horror – describing the fear the characters feel, to make readers afraid. Stated another way, when the characters feel afraid, we feel afraid. Authors will spend a lot of time describing the fear their characters feel for precisely this reason. This is one of those things you'll see everywhere when you start to look for it. I'll give examples of this at the end of the essay. So in the fairy example above, one way you would convince people to be afraid of fairies (in addition to conveying that they are violations of nature) is by describing a character shitting their pants at the sight of one.
>>17719701
Page 3 introduces the idea of disgust or physical revulsion as an essential element of horror. This seems understandable when you think about how a person would respond to something horrifying. If you're scared of it, why would you want to touch it? Horror stories will often feature monsters that have revolting features - a horrible smell is the big thing nowadays. They're also usually portrayed as dirty and “impure”, which is also something this essay expands on later.
Important to note, however, is that this revulsion is beyond the sort you expect when someone is just afraid of something. You might be afraid of Jihadists, but you shouldn't be afraid of touching them. The characters in horror stories, however, feel a deep, visceral disgust towards whatever monster they encounter. This ties in with the idea that the monster, whatever it is, is seen as a violation of the natural order. The fact that it is a violation of nature is what's so repulsive.

Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone remembered a thread from a couple of years ago about a town somewhere in America (I think it was called liberty or freedom or angel or something). The whole thing was supposedly a town that was built to simulate warfare, but the people of the town didn't know.
I don't remember much else, and I probably got some details wrong.

I have been having this issue every time whenever I have my many sleeps and dreams.
I have this strange feeling in my dreams that always occurs if something physically painful happens in them.
If I get punched in the stomach I would get stomach pains when I woke up, if I had a punch directly on my chest I would feel my rib cage stabbing into me slightly.
This happens every time I have a dream with any physical injuries that would most likely not hurt you, but I have felt this throughout my sleeps and no one would understand me because of it saying I would try to lie.
What is wrong with me or the ways I dream /x/?
once i had a dream where i was trying really hard to pee and when i woke up i had dick pains
sounds normal. your dreams must be intense and vivid; you should be able to control this though.
it's similar to a matrix type-deal; where your mind, focusing so much on what happened in the dream; as you wake your mind is still thinking you were punched so it sends the pain signal. it's about the signals and information moreso than physically if it happened. -atma
It's most likely the other way around. For example, when you say that you got punched in a dream and then experienced stomach pains upon waking, it's probably the case that your stomach started hurting while you were asleep, and you then dreamed about being punched in the stomach.
A similar thing happens to me, sometimes. Dreams are often influenced by physical sensations and sounds around you. Yesterday, when I was asleep, I was short of breath (as I often am), and I dreamed that a cute dog was lying on my chest.
how do i learn telekinesis
>>17729621
Why do you want to learn telekinesis?
How willing are you to believe in telekinesis?
What will you do different once you've achieved master of telekinesis?
If you're really dedicated, you'll be able to answer these three questions for yourself and tap into your latent abilities without consulting any written work or external information source.

Take your hands, pick something up from point A and move it to point B. There are several variations depending.
So obviously existence is infinite by nature so why can't our consciousness have infinite power?
Well aliens that's why.
Aliens fucking with us.
I want to learn how to open portals across space so I don't need a fucking car, so I don't need a hoverbike, so I don't need to run as fast as light.
Anybody mages/locks here that have an idea of how to do it?
you'e a human, that's why.

>>17729307
fuck off pseudo7
alright, so you're gonna do this around seven am, preferably in your kitchen but just a kitchen in general will do. you're gonna paint your face burgundy (it has to be exactly burgundy, no halfassing or it won't work). you're gonna strip down to just your left sock and nothing else. Now squat down and flap your arms while chanting "WOLOLWOLOWOLO" at the top of your lungs, forcibly emptying your bowels while doing so. Done correctly, this should open a hole in spacetime and propel you to your destination.
So why have aliens stopped abducting people? Have we got to the point where the aliens would almost always get caught or something?
>>17729117
They haven't. It's just been thoroughly discredited and mocked so people stopped reporting it. Most interestingly is that most UFOs are now invisible except on the infrared spectrum because of how much press it was getting.
>>17729117
This comes up in the DSM

The mockery is a serious social problem. It is ethically the same as making fun of the rare person who is sickened by smallpox.

I've had a couple episodes the last few months where hearing a particular noise or smelling a scent triggers parts of a memory I don't remember.
Like, okay
>be me
>eating at restaurant
>super quiet. Waitress drops a plate and startles the shit out of me
>for a second I remember being at a restaurant and having the same thing happen
>like a gif file. Me looking at the table then turning towards the noise. I was with someone I don't know. Young guy in a nice suit.
Its happened a couple other times as well.
Could it be possible I've forgotten things naturally?
Is it possible someone has wiped my memories?
I just want to know whether wiping memories is even a scientific possibility.
No what would be natural is for you to remember every single thing that's ever happened to you specifically and in great detail. For you to have forgotten anything can only mean you've been the subject of deliberate experimentation.
You have a strange condition called "being human".

Did you check for memories of movies with scenes like that in them? TV shows?
