Or at least many times the natural lifespan. Not necessarily a one off solution, repeatedly trading tributes for longer life seems more likely from what I've read on the subject anyways.

I live in a fairly isolated area. What are my best bets if I want to fight/hunt/defend self from/scare off fleshgaits, greys and demons?
Things I have considered
-molotov cocktails
-holy water
-chinese talismans
-really bright lights
-chainsaws
-firecrackers
let's say guns are hard to come by in my country (but they are not entirely out of the question), are there anythings that are effective against these things and are fairly easy to make/obtain?
Homemade pump action scattergat. You'll need metalworking tools but it's not terribly difficult work. Head over to /k/ and get your hands on the Do/k/ument. Use a VPN if you live in a socialist police state. Put whatever magic placebo you want in a 12 gauge magnum shell alongside some double or triple ought buckshot of a metal of your choosing. Lead is normal but if you've got silver bullet budget then it's really no business of mine. If your demons wear IIIA or better bulletproof vests then you'll want tungsten. Should your spooks have a carapace of similar consistency to ceramic armor plate then you'll want a lead slug. Doesn't leave room for any magic powders or what the fuck ever but you can dip them in holy water or something.

Can you at least give a cryptic clue of what it is.
Welcome to Divination General!
Come here for readings and discussion of theory/practice.
>What's this Divination thing all about?
The practice of seeking knowledge of the future or the unknown by any of a variety of means.
>I'm new to this, help!
New querents should reply to the post of a reader who's currently doing readings. An "air query" can be made to no one in particular, but no one in particular may answer you!
New readers should post that they're offering readings and what information they require from a querent.
>Please read the STICKY for more:

Also: Thoth, a /div/ reader, made his own tarot and rune guide that he'd like to share to everyone:

Remember, each reader requires different information to read you. Look for their posts in the thread to determine what's needed.
Some readers will refuse to do certain readings -- respect that choice.

Can anyone do any readings?
I'm curious about a few things in my life
>>17746922
yeah same >.>
I did I few astral readings the other day, seemed to have gotten a few positive results. As always, I need your chart, as as well as a summary of whatever it is that's bothering you and any additional info you may wanna give me.
VERY IMPORTANT: I absolutely don't, nor will I ever claim to be able to, have any sort of knowledge of future events. My readings regard solely personality issues and self-knowledge.
Hey /x/. Anyone have any info about these sounds that people are apparently hearing?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTOQvDzihTU
My mother brought it up to me. She claims to hear similar things at night up in Michigan. I'm in South Carolina and I can't recall hearing anything out of the ordinary at night. She claims to have talked to other people about it and they've heard it too. Is this an troll that I missed out on?

It talks about cannon-like noises being heard at night. I lived in New Jersey in 2015 and I don't think I ever heard any noises like that nor heard anything about it. This does appear to be a recent occurrence.

I live in Southern PA and I just heard some booming a few minutes ago. I figured it was just someone shooting a gun or firing off fireworks.
It's creepy when my window is closed though. It sounds like someone is tapping on my window.

It's not supernatual.
It's tannerite.
I'm planning to restrict my sleep to see if jumping directly to REM during the 4,5 h core and during a nap will allow me to have more control on this state.
Experience hypnagogia and enter consciously into a lucid state, and maybe, learning to nap, enter in that state of mind during the day.
I already have a very strict diet (veggies, meat, seeds, various fats, ...) that annihilates postprandial sleepiness (low carb on 21+3 IF) and promotes wakefulness.
Lol you sleep

I have read of hard jhanic states being able to substitute sleep, but of course I'm not on that level. A couple minutes of concentration are refreshing though.
You can get more vivid dreams just by setting an alarm that wakes you up every 3 hours or just by sleeping in two 3 hour periods a day.
Im getting into /lit/ and would like to ask /x/ to post your favorite /x/ themed poems/lines/quotes etc....

Are you retarded?
Ok /x/, there was this thread called "7 creepiest wikipedia page", and as you might have guessed, one of these was Elisa Lam's one.
Reading through, I got to the point where it mentions the elevator ritual, and did some research, just for curiosity, and of course ran into a bunch of creepypastas and threads of people who claim they did it and nearly got insane.
I don't believe in this things, I'm VERY skeptical about this "ritual", I know there's no reason for it to work, but I'm curious: has any of you tried it?
>>17744731
Explain what you're talking about before you post it though.
>>17744734
Long story short: a girl named Elisa Lam was found dead in an hotel's water tank. Footage of her acting "strange" in an elevator emerged and some say she tried this "ritual" (actually she had a bipolar disorder and that was probablly the reason of her behavior).
The ritual itself says that if you go in a (at least) 10 story building and press a precise sequence of buttons in the elevator, at a certain point an entity disuised as a woman would enter. You must never look at or speak to this entity or you're fucked. At last you get to the 10th floor, but in another dimension: lights are off, the sky is red, and you can clarly see a "cross" in the distance. The woman would try to speak to you, but of course you cannot answer. After a while in this parallel dimension, things start to get weird and creepy (as if they weren't enough), and you really should go back, pressing another sequence of buttons in the elevator. People who claim they did this say they feel some kind of presence even when they go back in "our" dimension, or stuff like that.

(Excuse me for being a greentext fag)
>be me

>I share an apartment with a friend and his daughter
>I will be on the couch drawing, etc
>out of the corner of my eye I see a small silhouette peeking out of our kitchenettes wall
>always happens when I'm here by myself
>I dont do drugs
>Drink rarely
I just now saw the silhouette and without turning my head, i took my phone to camera and aimed it over the arm of the couch to get this picture.

Have you ever noticed that people are so paranoid these days that if you try to treat them nice, or make them happy, they immediately mistrust you? Why is that?
Also general paranoia discussion thread.

Well, personally i think i am dealing with people who cant be trusted daily.
It starts to be clear, that Judas and Brutus are most common names today.
Most of the more intelligent ones can be trusted, it seems, but there arent many of them close to me.
There are people, who can set you up, and accuse you of something, and make even your relatives and friends betray you.
In a group of 20 people around me, there is only 1-4 to really trust, depending on the subject at hand.
Hey /x/, theres no hard core evidence that aliens exist and are actively messing with people right?
I had a super vivid dream about aliens last night. I have them ever so often. Theyre very surreal and i always remember them so clearly in the morning.
Last night my dream ended with an alien looking me dead in the eyes smiling and touched my forehead and then I woke up. Alls well, happens. Its just a dream. Only difference is i found pic related in my palm. Its under the skin. Im trying to get a good pic of it. Its in the muscle group of my left thumb. It doesnt hurt at all but its a little red.
Thoughts?
>>17742114
Mosquitoes or spiders probably
Somehow seems wrong to make a joke on the subject, at least they didn't kick the door in.

So I recently started reading up on deep/dark web stories that made my hair stand up in fear. Any of you guys have stories or pastas to share?

Jesus, I'd imagine that's how an orc would look like.
>>17740476
Ah yes, l remember that one time when l went on the dark web and there was nothing interesting, no one sent me death threats, l didnt smoke my grandmother's ashes, no necromancer sent his army of skeletons after me, l haven't seen a guy cut his daughter's legs off. Do you know why ? Because these things only happen in made up stories.
