Oh god, I know I'm gonna regret this, browsing /x/ late at night, but I have a question. What is a tulpa? I found this the other day, and it left me intrigued

It's /mlp/ dung.
I'll kick things off
>At friends house in rural Maryland in the woods
>Foggy day like pic related and I have to retrieve something from the treehouse in the woods
>Spooky as fuck even though it's like 10:30 AM
>Go to our treehouse along the a path and get what I needed
>Hear a loud as fuck neigh
>Shit myself as I look into the fog and see a huge pure white horse rearing up and neighing really loudly
>nope.jpg
>Run my ass as fast as I could back to the friends house
>Hear trotting getting closer behind my back
>To scarred to look behind me
>Exit the woods and make it back to friends house
>Look behind me as I exit the path
>Nothing there
>Go in just a bit to see where the horse went
>Nothing
Was 8 when that happened and it still gives me the creeps. Anyone got any other innawoods stories?
>>17779793
Really? no one? Is there anyone out there tonight?
i'm only interested in this because it happened in MD and nothing about MD is ever posted on here
>>17779846
Surprised about that actually. Blair Witch was filmed there and it was pretty much a few miles from where this story happened.
Where do I find ultimate knowledge and enlightenment?

So I am writing a book and I wanted to make an interesting monster. So I read up some stuff because I wanted to make it 4 dimensional, and I didn't know how to write that. According to these people, if a third dimensional creature stepped into a 2 dimension world, all would be seen are the two round circles for feet and something small connecting them. In fact, we would appear as multiple entities despite being one. And I thought at times, how can God be three in one? What if the trinity is really a higher dimension, what if it's the only possible way we can perceive God in the bird dimension. I'm not here to argue his existence, but rather discuss the implications. It would be safe to assume he is well above fourth dimension, though what people assume about the fourth dimension could correlate to his abilities. A fourth dimensional being could move through time in any direction, God is timeless. Could it be that all knowledge and all presence could be properties of higher dimensions?
>>17779115
That is the common explanation, yes. God has more dimensions than we do, and we cannot perceive Him properly any more than a Flatlander could perceive a cube as a cube, and not as a line.
There are creatures in this higher dimension that do not share these qualities with God.
God is unique.
>>17779123
It was like a flash of inspiration when I read about it though. That would explain his trinity, right? I can't share such info with other Christians though. I'm of the belief that while God can do miracles out of thin air, he is a scientific God and some things can be explained.
>>17779126
Er, I'm a Christian and you shared it with me, and found that I had already considered and accepted it as true.
People with a problem with the truth have a problem with realizing that they worship the Truth, and that no truth leads away from Jesus, only lies do that.
And the way we think things work "scientifically" could also be considered as miracles due to the nature of not knowing what we don't know.
If nirvana/the Tao/paradise is so great why do we cling to illusion and the body?
>>17778851
Kys and find out
>>17778851
Nirvana is often misrepresented as a eastern counterpart of Heaven.
Nirvana is actually very different and a very personal journey, not as simple as "living a good/bad life = good/bad afterlife.
Nirvana is the "blowing out" of desire, a very difficult thing to do because everyone thinks their true self(often mistaken as the ego) will be given a special place to exist forever.
But when you die your ego dies too, and you are left without any grip or link to this reality anymore(the bardo), the fear and trepidation one feels in this state will be enough for anyone to try to reignite their desire as they are circling the drain, to return to samsara in one form or another.
Those who spend their lives comprehending these experiences are not so easily scared in this state, since most will spend their lives attempting to extinguish desire, therefore they will not be so pained with the loss of such things; they will accept the fact that this reality was in fact the illusion and cross the event horizon to that place which no one returns. And few have glimpsed at through monumental intakes of drugs, meditation, hypnosis, etc.
Hope this helped, anon.

The short version of this answer is that it's easier to avoid Nirvana
What does everyone here seem to deny everything these days? Where are my full on spookbros? It seems like this board is nothing but people pushing science now
>>17778706
Because 90% of the threads are fag earth or some variant, and the only way to deal with them is with science
Reddit thinks this is the deepweb because /b/ really has gotten the last laugh. They come here on their Le Internet Meme Pilgrimage.
And all sarcasm aside, that is not exactly a lie. Redditfags come here a lot and shit up the place.
It's also summer.
Because there's a difference between tween RP and good content. Also what >>17778716

Any other Ginger Snaps bros here?
The lead characters in this movie strike me as pretty much the ultimate /x/philes.
Basically the gist of the movie is that these two sisters are paranormal as fuck, and form a pact to die together.
In a meantime all of the dogs in their neighborhoods are getting mauled to death by some creature.
Eventually one of the sisters TRANSFORMS into a werewolf and shit just gets scarier from there.
Anyone else here into this?
She's mah werewolf waifu, anon.
fuck yeah, this used to come on ever Halloween and was on my movie watch list
>that early 2000s, pre 9/11 feel
>all characters are realistic and not sterotypes of women in horror movies
>10/10 creature design
they really dont make them like this anymore
I've been on a bit of an early 2000s horror kick lately.
I watched Final Destination (the original one) yesterday and it was honestly hilarious.
There was this scene where two of the main characters sneak into the morgue to check out their friend's corpse after he died. The scene is so hilarious because this black undertaker guy shows up and starts spooking them out by taking blood out of the guy's body and shit. I feel like movies today wouldn't play around with such blatantly morbid humor.
Hey /x/ lets share any creepy stories/pictures/ or places near your location.
Story behind this little thing right here is that supposedly satanists used to do sacrifices, preform rituals, and other things inside the damn place. For this reason being it's called the Devil's hole. If you go inside you can find satanic writing along the wall with a hole boarded up in the center.
I have been inside it and I wasn't able to get a good shot of the inside because the inside smelled like a possum died.
Here's a slightly closer shot.

Hi , I was wondering if any anonymous can help me out. A year or two ago there was a thread by a guy who's friend was working on a open world space simulation along the lines of no man's sky or star citizen. The thread goes into detail about how the ai in the game was super adaptive to changes the creator was doing especially in regards to in the in game economy. The thread goes on to state the ai "noticing" the creator and leaving some sort of message to him. I searched 4plebs but got nada. Anyone remember the thread?

Why do I keep seeing or hearing people mentioning this person in my dreams?
Hello /div/ yet again, I'm back with tarot readings. I'm not sure how many I'll do again, but we'll see.
What I need:
>name/nickname or whatever you want me to call you
>gender
>query [please no yes/no questions or appearances, I'm not scrying and the former can only really be better done with a pendulum. That, and no overly silly love queries.]
May do a scry or not, depends if the query is interesting enough or if it just catches my eye.

I've got PTSD, I have nightmares pretty much every night and it makes me feel depressed and anxious when I'm awake. It also makes me stay up all night so I can avoid going to sleep.
Any /x/ methods of controlling my dreams/nightmares? This is actually ruining my life.
therapist.now.
>>17777195
Been there, doesn't help.
They're like... just meditate and b positive :) Which doesn't stop the nightmares.
Well, I wish I could help, since a friend of mine is in the exact same position. Do what the first anon said and get therapy. Make sure you don't have sleep apnea or anything else. Listen to or watch calm and relaxing things before bed. Try taking a hot shower before you sleep.

spooky images.
I like masks
I saw this moving back in 1993 before I knew anything about the Illuminati and the evil that goes on.
Does /x/ think that the elite hunt humans for sport? When it's hunting children I've heard it happens at Bohemian Grove and is call "Teddy Bears Picnic". Is there truth to the elite hunting, and human sacrifices on special pagan days?
Earth to /x/??????
Bueller...Bueller?????
What are /x/'s beliefs on the origins of humankind?
Bonus question: IF Adam, Eve and Lilith existed once, how hasn't anybody been able to channel their souls/consciousness?
>>17776256
I believe "tree of life/knowledge" represents DNA structure.
Sumerian people believed they were engineered by aliens, I think most cultures have a very similar story that gets lost in translation. or omitted by powerful groups.

It's because everyone does all the time
