I'm running a tabletop roleplay for my group, and they're really into the supernatural. This game will be about a group of monks who combat various angels, and demonic beings as they attempt to stop the apocalypse. This story is rather bland, and I'm looking for help to make it better for my players, and make it an enjoyable experience. I'm also looking for tips on various mythologies regarding angels and demons.

The Neoplatonic archons, (I dunno what game you're playing, maybe port low level inevitables if you're playing 3.pf) as "administrators" of reality are in a slapfight with the Abrahamic (w/e/) angels as "architects" of reality and are tying to pressure anyone using a Gate or Summon Monster or whatever into taking up missions for this or that side's aim.

I keep waking up with things in my room being moved around, and sometimes things even being on my desk that I didnt put there. I have /zero/ history of sleepwalking, so it couldn't be that.
Today I woke up with pic related on my desk. I dont even fucking own a marker pen.
I've checked all the locks and windows, and there's no way someone could've broken in.

Does anyone remember a webpage that I think was a choose your own adventure story about being abandoned on a spaceship or something. It featured 3D rendered pictures on each page and "room" you entered. I remember it having existential and atheistic themes.
Pic somewhat related as to how I remember the rendered pictures looking.

Hi /x/,
Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I'd like to learn how to meditate, I have absolutely no experience with this.
Yesterday I found a Youtube "meditation binaural sound", I searched on the web how to "open my chakras", I closed my eyes, tried to breathe slowly and visualise "energy orbs" in my body. It felt good, but I don't think I have enough knowledge to do it properly and what I find on the web seems shitty.
So I'd like to know from experienced people what is the best way to start, if you have advices, tutorials, video lessons, books whatever ...
Also general meditation thread !
Thank you
"Be still and know that I am God".
>>17841222
That's not helping very much
>>17841219
For me the easiest way of meditation is to just lay silently in bed and listen to my body. Just observe your body.
What are your strangely unique habits, beliefs, and superstitions? For example, what if I just spilled some salt and threw some over my shoulder. Explain.

What does /x/ now about shadow people? I've been tormented by these things my whole life. They tried to get me to stick a fork in a socket when I was a toddler. How do I get rid of them? How do I cope with them? What can I do to protect myself?
>>17840794
I don't even know what shadow people are but there was a video on youtube about how to protect yourself from them

I know a lot of people talk about seeing ghosts and stuff late in the night, especially in a place they already perceive to be "creepy" or "haunted". While there is more to most paranormal events than just that, I think it IS important to remember the power of the human mind and what we can see when we are subconsciously expecting it or willing it to happen. If you're in a creepy place for long enough, chances are that your mind will wander to the subject of ghosts. You might even see one - or do you just think you're seeing one? It's amazing what we can make ourselves see with the right mindset and a lack of sleep.
To demonstrate this, I've created a "game" for /x/ to try out. Even if you do believe in ghosts 100%, this is still a really creepy thing to do.
It's too long to fit in the OP, so I'll put it in some replies.
Have fun! (pic unrelated)
>>17840701 This is the game:
>1. Be sleep-deprived. I usually go with 4 hours of sleep and then wait until 8pm the next day, but if you wanted to you could do even less.
>2. Place a small figure (I use a LEGO minifigure - anything around that size is good) a couple of metres away from you.
>3. Make sure your room is dimly lit, but not too dark or too bright - you want to be able to see the figure, but not make out too much detail.
>4. Stare at the figure and try to make its limbs move with your mind. This is kinda hard to explain, but basically you just "pretend" that it is moving and try to "focus" on these pretend movements as if they were actually there.
> 5. These movements have to be very slight - I just pretend the figure is moving its arms slightly as if it was walking slowly, and lolling its head around a bit.
> 6. After about 20-50 seconds, you will start to actually "see" the figure make these movements.
> 7. The movements become stronger and more exaggerated the longer you focus - if you try and picture the same things I did (see step 5) the figure will look like its being possessed - i.e. convulsing, writhing.
>8. After about a minute of staring at the figure, you can stop willing it to "move" and it will continue to do so anyway, even if you move closer to it. This usually lasts only 10-20 seconds but it is creepy as fuck.

I'm not suggesting you do this every day and you know it. That would be insane.
Everyone pulls an all-nighter once in a while, this just gives you something creepy to do while you do it.
Hello, I am writing to ask for assistance from other investigators and the like. The town of Tulsa has become something else.
Tulsa was a normal sort of town/city, for a while. Recently however we have had an influx of strange elements.
First thing I noticed was the look in their eyes had changed. From being happy and normal, these people have completely become lifeless. They are shells. Everywhere you go unless you find the few folk like me who try to hold on to something real.
Secondly, the anger. It started getting bad a few months ago, but it's kinda been bad for the past years. Violence is open and not punished but almost encouraged. There are fights on the streets often.
Thirdly, abnormal manners. From the once held sacred manners that we all held in this town we have lost it entirely. Yesterday a man openly strangled and nearly broke a woman's neck and the people just looked and some cheered.
Fourthly, Cultists. We have problems with tons of religious fanatics who try to gain power however they can. Some of these are Africaan, some Samoan, some are Caribbean, most however are ancient Norse and Celtic.
Fifthly, Secret Societies. There are plenty in the town. They have specific requirements, uniforms, hang outs and perks. Some people tend to not pay for anything and it's fine, other people seem to get gas for free. A few of the bigger organizations even give people large houses on the outskirts of town.
Sixthly, Estates. Large estates have been erected, large columns like temples of old. Mansions in the shape of pagan temples.
I wish that more like me would come and help out this town. Or at least to help me, I know that is selfish to say but this town is a well of despair.
Where is this town? More info please, sir.
>>17840652
Tulsa Oklahoma.
Northeastern part of Oklahoma.
The darkness seemed to emanate from the tower in Oklahoma City.
>>17840639
If you want I could maybe help you with some spells, you can at the very least protect yourself. But it sounds like someone might be replacing people (Spirits), or placed a spell on the town.
My mother was an intuitive healer, she wrote some mysterious book of spirits and such. Anyways I was watching this show and one of the characters asked
"How old is she?"
Then my brain automatically thought of the number 76
"She's seventy six"
This isn't the first time I've predicted things. I don't even control it. It just happens and it's correct. Sometimes I can "predict" the next word a character is going to say like "Of course". Is this normal /x/?
>>17840594
Kindly post a recording of yourself recounting a few events like this. I'm studying people like you, so it would be helpful for my research to have a voice sample (I'm a voice reader)
>>17840594
Yep. Completely normal. This phenomena is known as "luck" and is often confused for other things.
If you could actually predict things, you'd be playing for the Powerball jackpot.
Once you have listened to people communicate enough, you become able to accurately guess the next word, or phrase spoken. Do it enough and you can preempt peoples thoughts.
Do you think a human mind is capable of generating thoughts or are they being sent from somewhere else?
If somewhere else is at least a possibility for you, then it is also possible that you could intercept other peoples thoughts before they have them themselves.
Long ago, when I was a child (actually I have 19 years), I read a book about fairies. Supposedly, in the summer solstice, the fairies dance at night for about one week and they can be seen by the eyes of any human. The solstice was in june 21.
What can you say about, /x/?
>>17840533
I can assure you that they are very much real, and very much terrifying and beautiful. And they come in all shapes and sizes too
>>17840533
If fairies were real they'd definitely only be in super remote areas.
I'd imagine that they'd be pretty difficult to find even if they were real.
>>17840553
They are everywhere, you just have to look hard enough.

Just had a spooky experience, was sleeping face down on my bed, I feel the feeling of something getting on my bed, I turn my head toward it with my eyes closed covering face with blanket ( too of a b*tch), a few seconds later I feel my hair being lightly touched, I react and just punch my hand out blindly and Hit my small desk, I could of sworn I saw my closet door kinda opened then closed when I look away ( but then again my sight was blurry as I woke up)
Stood awake for a good hour then went back to sleep.During my sleep I felt as if my body couldn't move but I found out if I move my feet everything starts to become fine. This happened twice during my sleep .I honestly couldn't tell if I was half awake or something . So if there any explanation for this or was I just getting myself scared . Sorry if this is formatted awfully on phone and I'm new to all this paranormal stuff.
Sounds like sleep paralysis, especially with the moving your feet and stuff
Post any of your spooky experiences, forgot to put that
