Basicaly, what can you get by making contracts with demons or summoning them?
What could you possibly gain from doing that, and why do most never manage to summon one? Are they even real?
And what could they possibly ask for in the return? Your soul after death? Is it that simple?

Anyone ever smell the scent of someone they know who died? ... both my parents are dead and sometimes for no reason at all I can smell the perfume my mom used to wear like really STRONG.. I'll smell it for like 10 mins and then it goes away. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this ? Not saying its her ghost or some shit but its weird.. I do live alone in a house with all her old stuff that I inherited so I just tell myself its coming offa some of her old things but I don't smell it on any of these old things normally.. The smell just comes on suddenly and I can't figure out where it comes from then it goes away.

I thought I would share this story with you. I am bored right now and thought possibly someone here would get some enjoyment from reading it.
I am not a firm believer in the paranormal and would consider myself an atheist, yet I still can't explain what happened that night.
I guess our mind pushes things like this to the backs of our heads and makes us forget them because they are inconvenient and go against everything taught by science.
I am a photographer so one night me and the girlfriend decided we would go find something to take photos of to kill our boredom. She was a bit of a goth so suggested cool old headstones.
I thought of one cemetery I knew had very old headstones. After a bit of a drive to arrive at said cemetery, we head to an angel headstone just like in the pic above. in fact i think the pic above is said headstone.
So we get to it and i setup my camera on a tripod to take the photo. As i go to take i get "error could not write to SD card"
what? i hope my camera isn't broken or SD card not corrupted. Restart the camera. same thing happens again..wtf i never had this issue before coming here...

We are wandering round the really old part of the graveyard looking for more headstones but decide to move over to the side of the graveyard where people that have recently been buried are.
Instantly creepy as hell, even though its much closer to the road and not surrounded by trees like the old side of the graveyard.
There are fresh pits that have been dug, just waiting for a body. We find one grave with childrens shoes on it which i find really creepy. All the new headstones are fairly minimal without much of a photo op so after about 10 minutes of exploring i say to the GF, let's go.
That is when it happened. We both hear a female voice say "don't go, don't go"
We both looked at each other and said "did you hear that?" we both heard it. I have a look round to make sure no one is fucking with us and can't see anyone, and there isn't really a place for anyone to hide as we are talking a big open field..

As we are driving home I am saying to her, "I can't believe we both heard it, say the exact same thing" I had never had such a vivid super natural experience before.
So when we arrive home i am super creeped out and sort of just want to forget the whole thing. In the back of my mind I had the thought that I hope we didn't bring anything back with us..
To late..after a couple of minutes of laying on the bed when we are about to go to sleep we both hear this noise. It is a really hard noise to describe, but if you have ever seen the movie, the grudge, it is similar to the noise one of the ghosts makes in that. Kind of like the sound of someone being choked to death.
It goes on for about 10 seconds then stops. I freak out get up and turn on all the lights in the apartment.
By this time i am so scared i have tears in my eyes. Has this fucking thing followed us home? what other havoc is it going to cause? will i get any sleep tonight?
luckily i moved out of that apartment not long after and nothing happened since except for a glass table smashing itself...

Is it common for people interested in the paranormal to believe in both ghosts and aliens, or is belief in one usually incompatible with the other? It seems to me it would depend at what angle you come at one or both of them from. If you think ghosts are a supernatural phenomenon or a product of unknown natural forces, like dimension phasing or some such. On the other hand, some people think of aliens as natural beings with extraordinary science, while others look at them as demons or the like. What do you guys think? Aliens, ghosts, or both, and why?

I've had a couple instances where I've seen silhouettes of people in my house. I haven't seen one for a while now, but I don't think they're gone.
I've had other paranormal instances in my house btw, the most recent being this February.

I'm a lucid dreamer, and I usually remember most dreams.
You know when you wake up from a dream that you can't remember, and it kind of enters your memory like halfway through your day?
I get this more often, but it's scaring me, because at first it was just small memories from small dreams. But then the memories kept getting bigger, and I kept remembering more information. It seemed kind of silly that I could lucid dream one night, yet wake up remembering 2 dreams, the lucid one, and a different one. But the second one is always a recurring dream where I'm walking through my hometown, but everything's changed, like it went from being a town to a bustling city. I'm starting to remember people's faces and names, and even conversations, and it's odd because when I wake up, I can't tell if this is reality anymore. It's funny, I've asked the very same question in my dream.. I don't expect anything different desu.
Anyone ever experience anything similar? I've looked into the mandela effect, but I'm not sure if it's the same thing. I'm probably just having really vivid dreams.
I'm thinking of doing a scientific experiment. But if anyone can give me some kind of information that I can look up on the other side, I'd be happy to report back tomorrow to see if my experiment worked. If my experiment works, you guys can't really tell but it would help me sleep at night eitherway. I'd be happy to share answers anyway.

I have reoccurring environments in my dreams. Places I like to visit. An amalgamation of my life experiences and what my imagination has added into it. I have to say that the size of this place isn't massive, maybe the size of San Francisco. Somewhere I can easily make on foot in a few hours. This is a place that I lucid dream, and I started going there when I learned to get out of my night terrors. There are people that are always there, and names I know.
It's nothing to be afraid of, you can just use the time when you sleep as you wish. As long as you know sleep and reality tricks.

I have a question, I don't want this to turn into some garbage gay ass roleplay, crappy pasta thing, but I remember watching something when I was super young that is still burnt into my memory to this day. It's of this little fucker, the teddy bear from those detergent commercials or some shit and it seems normal at first you know normally shitty, cringe worthy, commercial shit and creepy movement like the teddy bear is alive, and than all of the sudden it turns into a horror thing and the teddy bear and the woman start violently fighting resulting in iifc lost of blood. Anyone know what I'm talking about? It seems like it's something created by Alan resnick. He aces turning innocence into intense suspense/horror. Anyone know what or have a link to what I'm talking about?

Human remains were recently discovered in the fireplace of my grandparents' old home (both died about a decade ago). They appear to be very old, but no forensic work has been done yet. The house was built in in the 19th century and served as a civil war hospital, but it seems unlikely that doctors would hide a body in the fireplace, no? Pretty spooky that my dad grew up there.

Actually happened to me 3 years ago. I can clearly remember obseving my body lying asleep in the bed.
The body and my astral form where connected via a glowing cord which made me realize it wasn't a dream as i previously thought, resulting in me returning to it with impossible speed due to the surprise i experieced.
