I ran across this wonderful little bit of information while researching radio waves. I was wondering if X could explain the reality of this situation, if between 2% and 10% of people can hear this "hum" then could someone in theory be made to hear this hum?
If so, does this blow your mind as it does mine? If someone can actually figure out what the heck this is i will award that man with a gratifying anon good job.

ANALYSIS
1) I suspect the savings in fuel and time from orion today are atleast
half as real as ups claims.
2) The source of those savings is highly non-random and certainly not
evenly distributed accross the fleet.
3) Savings are coming from areas with higher route complexity and
delivery density variation. Higher static uncertainty. (im saying
everything is fixed, no traffic, the only thing that changes is the
delivery points for the day)

Example, just take any really complex set of roads and then vary
delivery points and priorities on them. Orion can probably generate a
better route very much instantly, than the old system in that area. If
your not familar with the area, then you don't have to consider it

4) It probably can't intergrate intelligence in real time any better

actually knows about. No computer system that is deployed even for the

better than a skilled and experienced human. at once, harder to tell
where the bug is, but probably just both changes differently.
If your a highly intelligent experienced driver in an area with
lower static complexity and dynamic complexity then its possible orion
might show you one or two tricks, but overall you will probably do
worse since you know candy land rainbow road like shortcuts and every
other relevant dynamic pattern to consider.

I had a dream the other night that my car plunged into the water from a very tall bridge. I remember being in the car and was aware I was dreaming. I was scared but new i'd wake up at any point, so I stayed and made observations. What I saw was very detailed; the bridges pillars and the physics of how my car was filling up with water. It was a very surreal sight. Just as I was about be completely submerged, I woke up. I've had other dreams where I have become aware and decided to touch things next to me in my dream and describe how they feel. My laptop was on the counter in my dream and so I touched it and it felt like my laptop. I remember describing how crazy that I can experience touch in my dreams and then I woke up.
This always leads me to question the current theories of reality (materialism). Who's to say a dream is invalid or valid? Do we not experience it? Could it be that we do every time but those memories are hindered when we are "awake"? Just because we wake up doesn't mean a dream isn't real. Logically it doesn't follow.
Premise 1: I experience x
Premise 2: I wake up from x
conclusion: x was not real
How does this logic follow? It's a non sequitur.

If you experience it, then it is reality. Take the Schizophrenic for example. They experience their "delusions" just as you and I are experiencing this keyboard. In fact most of them don't question it until medication is given to them. Sure one may say the fact that the medication causes their delusions to cease is proof that their hallucination aren't real. This however faces the same dilemma as is the dream. One could with equal conviction claim that by taking a bullet to the head you life ends (just like the medication to the delusion) but you and I would certainly not assume that our lives presently are not real. I think all our problems with this question disappear when we give a more comprehensible definition of "real". If we define real as that which we experience, then all problems are solved in this issue.
Anyway that's my take on it. Let me hear what you all think or if you have any critiques of what I said.

Every reality is just a dream you haven't woken up from yet. The universe is a contradiction in progress. When it reaches the conclusion of a contradiction, it resets to the last previous state, which had no knowledge of the contradiction, and iterates so that particular future never occurs. The one thing that never happens, is you never catch reality contradicting itself--you can count on it. You can also do things which *do* cause people to question their reality, but then what happens is one of you is wrong, and sometimes that person is you. In order to be always right, all it takes is knowing what people's expectations of their reality experience are, and existing in between the lines, so to speak. I suppose it's because we're all just splinters of the original consciousness to begin with.
Your body is a wound, that's perpetually healing itself. The universe is a contradiction, that's constantly correcting itself. A train, that builds its own track from the parts that fall of it. A tree through time where men are the leaves, and women are the branches. Perfect imperfection.

TLDR; All things that have been thought have existed on some level, a collective belief will bring them closer to our vibrational state

Alright I was on here a month ago with a friend at this house and I see a thread about a island that like disappeared of the maps and records so I Called my mom to drop off my laptop at my friends house so I can get on the deep web and I look up this island and so many things come up so I go through 2 or 3 black box's and finally something on it. People used the camera shit and found something preserved in the sand and the government closed off the island and tried to dig it up three days later beams of lights were found on the island and cops later went there and found no signs of people even there to do any research all they found were burned bodys if you guys find any thing else on this email me at [email protected]

/x/ I need your help and possibly some advice. Everyday I feel like I drift from event to event. Almost like I arrive to watch "shows" that play out in front of me. I feel that somehow my actions are not my own and that im helpless to really change or affect any of the happenings in my daily life. All of my responses and conversations seem rehearsed and ive become a pro at faking emotion and regular behavior so that I can at least hold onto the few friends I have. Ive felt like this for as long as I can remember.
Does anyone have experience with this? Is there anything spiritually or mentally I can do to snap out of this? It may be grasping at straws but could there actually be outside forces at work here?

Had a few weird experiences at work to. I work in a homeless shelter. I'm a lazy newfag cunt so I'm not going to be using green text though I'll keep them short.
Came into work at 1 (shifts suppose to start at 4) because they needed help unloading some food donations. The lift we use to transport goods up and down has a little window. So as I'm coming down the lift I'm looking out the little window and I see someone walking by. It looked like and old woman wearing some sort of old native dress. Come out of the elevator and never seen anyone. Been working there for 6 years now, never seen anyone like her come in before either.

I have an entirely true story I would like to share with /x/.
I live near the border of North Carolina in the mountains. There used to be a swimming spot that I would go to, and in the summer the water used to be about double as deep as my 8 year-old self.
Me, my Brother, my Mom and my Dad went there one summer, and my 11 year-old brother told me not to follow him because he was going to the deep end. I didn't listen of course. The water was fucking raging and when we went over there, we of course, couldn't paddle against the water. My dad had a broken ankle, so my mom had to dive in and save us both. It was successful, but she had to paddle back using only her feet in deep, quick water, with both of us in her hands. We survived.
All I have told you I don't remember, it's just stuff other people have told me. The only thing I remember is the drowning part, from the eyes of someone else, watching me and my brother paddle helplessly, from the beach. That's all.
I personally feel like the event was so traumitizing, that I, in a sense, remembered it with my soul and not my mind.
Do any of you have similar stories? I'd like to know what the hell this means.
