I never really come here except for when looking for creepypastas and greentext threads.
Legit question but is there any kind of significance to constantly having lightbulbs go out or explode around you? This shit has been going on for quite some time to the point where I'm starting to believe it's not coincidental.
At home lightbulbs are constantly going out in the rooms that I'm in if I pass under them. At first I was under the impression it was just cheap $store bulbs, and started replacing them with the long-life bulbs, and it still keeps happening.
I've figured it was just an electrical problem but started noticing it happening at work, and when I drive/walk under streetlamps, and even at friends houses.
Anyone have the slightest idea what could be up? I talked to my aunt who is kinda strange and has always been into creepy stuff, and all she would tell me is that it used to happen to her when she was on her period, and then started to just give me cryptic answers when I pressed her.

Guys, I have been hearing weird noises in my house. I heard someone knocking the door exactly at midnight and I live in the middle of nowhere so we don´t have neighbours. The window next to the door doesnt have curtains so I know nothing was knocking it, neither people, animals or thiongs. Whatever it was, it knocked 3 times, and really fast. Please help this damsel in distress

Don't know if you're still here. If it happens nightly, try putting up a rubber sheet or something else that would prevent knocking over your door. If you think its a ghost, layer the area with flour to look for tracks. (Tracks would show if it were a prankster.)

From Illinois abt 9:00 P.M. this happened

I just wanna get some idea real quick
(very high so excuse any highness)
Does anyone know about a creature (possibly a transformation from a human) that looks like a gorilla, but with a longer wolflike snout and longer fur. Its all white and stands on two legs like the muhfuckin bigfoot but more primal looking.
Any ideas or anything will be much appreciated.
Also if it makes any difference i turned into this creature in a dream a while ago. Its been bothering me since

You'd think, if there are infinite universes, that in one of those universes there's an entity that manages to travel to this universe and at this particular space and time. It has to be possible if there are infinite universes with infinitely different contents.
You'd think with all the billions of people on earth, and hundreds of millions births a year, we'd have one mutant come out with tangible super powers.
If time travel is possible in the future, why has no one visited our present?
Why aren't there any anomalies? Everything science and philosophy tells us should point to these fantastical events occuring in our time, yet none of this has happened. We have no Superman, we have no inter-dimensional beings visiting us, no future descendants visiting us. Why is that? Why are we lacking these inevitable, factually certain anomalies? The only conclusion I can come to is a god or god-like being preventing occurrences like these, but I'd love to hear /x/'s theories.

depends whether or not the laws of physics and quantum particles behave differnetly, all that stuff. otherwise they'd be stuck with our limitations, of course there is no evidence to the contrary, or whether these other universes even exist, so yeah.

check out the many worlds interpretation, it sort of connects with your first question. time travel could avoid causality by going to a whole other timeline, or 'quantum state' being that of another universe, instead of travelling down the timeline of the progenitor universe.
