I'm probably tin-foil hat crazy for thinking this, but I came across this video on Facebook and I think it was made in an attempt to brainwash it's viewers. Hear me out.

"Is that *unintelligible* forces our subconciously shaping the way you think. Right now."

That part was absent from the version that aired on National Geographic.

Goddamnit /x/ you suck so bad nowadays. /pol/ is better at being /x/ than you are sometimes. It is a crying shame this was a thread on /pol/ and is nowhere to be found here. Let me fill you in

Where are my contact bros at? Lets get some stories going while we wait for more info.

My experience with UFO's was simple.
>~14 y/o
>2am
>can't sleep like always
>pacing around room
>randomly look out window for fun (lots of local animals that were fun to watch at our house back then)
>feel everything vibrate
>the ground itself shaking with he power of whatever is happening
>earthquake?
>hear a loud "zoom" noise
>look up
>bright glowing neon orange hexagon shape swipes into view in the sky
>almost as if it is appearing into view from behind something invisible
>moves across the sky as it fades out
>trembling stops

It was surreal. I went and woke up my mom and told her about it. she herself has stood right underneath a UFO as it passed her by as a teen. And in turn my grandfather himself was big into the occult, but particular aliens.

... if it took 96 years to get there, it would take 96 to get back, right? This is nothing.
>>
>>18072822
You're being followed and studied as offspring of your mom who was visited in her childhood. E.T.s do not reproduce as some forms of life on Earth do, like humans. E.T.s are essentially clones of themselves. They're trying very eagerly to find out how we humans 'do it' so they could possibly reproduce the process themselves. So far, no luck on their end.

This is very common among those people who claim to be visited by aliens or abducted. Their children experience the same kind of visits because, well, E.T.s are very curious in us humans.

What's your worst (irrational/rational) fear?
>inb4 insects

The worst possible thing I could imagine is someone or something manages to stop time through incantation or device and just stopping time. The worst part? We're all conscious. Sitting there in the vast emptiness of our own thoughts. Unable to speak, breathe, or look around. Just frozen in time.
Shit that would suck.

yeah because that's definitely how the brain works, derp
>>
>>18072602
It's literally impossible to be conscious during time stop. You could be frozen in place though, at least that's more consistent with the laws of the universe

>while time is stopped

If time ceases to flow, so do the biological functions in your brain that allow consciousness. Sounds more like youre afraid of being date raped than of time stopping.

Question for you /x/philes.

I've only seen two Shadow People in my life. Both during bad times in my life.
The first one was accompanied with a strange dream. When I woke up, it was tall and skinny, and black. No face and no hat.

The second one I saw was a little over a year ago. I call it a Shadow Person, but it wasn't a shadow. It was wearing a cloak like in the picture, but ot was red and had gold piping running throughout.

Has anyone seen anything like this? I was curious. Couldn't find anything online.

I've gathered that if one were to somehow orbit just outside a black holes event horizon, then time would technically slow enough to make one basically immortal. However, we do not have the technology to do so, nor engines that can travel faster than the speed of light to reach escape velocity if we were ever to leave /orbit one. Am I wrong on this? Do you guys have any theorires?

>>
>>18072244
Time is subjective and relative. If we were to orbit a black hole, nothing would change from our perspective. We would age and die just like normal, only the universe would be going by faster. Look up time dilation. It could be used to travel into the future, but not the key to immortality.
>>
>>18072255
I was told an analogy that, if you were to hold one clock, and drop another into a black hole (somehow monitoring both), the clock dropped would slow down more and more as it approached the event horizon, and that the bend in time would literally slow down time for you.

Angels and demons are really annunaki/elohim/nephilim, right? They can shape shift? The bible derives from the enuma elish etc...
So demon posession is really aliens controlling you? I'm guessing from another dimension.

Suppose if we die, and we lose our consciousness, how would we know if we lost our consciousness? How do we know that we have become nothing?

And the whole "it would feel like how we felt before birth" makes no sense because compared to the uncertainty of pre-birth and death, we didn't exist before birth, but we exist before death. And when I mean "we", I mean the essence of our current life, so it makes no sense to say we lived another life before death, because that just means that conscious is nothing

If you die and lose consciousness you obviously won't be aware of it. Nothing really to discuss about it. Consciousness isn't nothing though, and it's not a function of the brain. I'm not going to act like I have all the answers, but I know that much. And sometimes wish that wasn't the case.
>>
I know that feel, Anon.
>>
>>18071135

> If you die and lose consciousness you obviously won't be aware of it.

How so? What I am saying is that I >think< that it is impossible to not be aware. At what point do you say "well I'm not part of the universe, peace" and just vanish?

And it wouldn't be like, say if you were in surgery and knocked out, because after that period in which you were unconscious, you woke up to "exist again", while if it was eternal, you'd be in some void that you would be "experiencing while not experiencing" at the same time

>>18071146

Yep, I'm in the middle of an existential crisis. I'm just hoping that some sort of advancement in technology happens. If materialists are right, then I'm hoping that me and my loved ones can get into ALCOR and hopefully be revived. Even if I turned out to be retarded or something, I wouldn't care, I just want some closure of existence

Or, in some physical phenomenon that we don't know if, and never will possibly, we move on to another dimension or universe. I just want to keep my memories and be with my loved ones, no matter the circumstance in which I'm allowed to exist as.

It's the loneliness that I am afraid of.

What are your thoughts on demons?

To me there are only 3 explanations:

>1. Demons are real and all religions are somewhat right, as supernatural forces fight against the demons.

OR

>2. Demons are fake and any feeling of expelling a demon from a person or a house is just a psychological trick.

OR

>3. Demons are real, but religion is wrong. However, centuries of battling demons with positive energies by people who believed in their religion more than anything have instilled a deep fear of all religious symbols and practices into demons. Thus, they flee when challenged by a religious exorcism.

I'm leaning towards 3 desu

Mixture of one and three.
Gods are real and and their powers are too, through ways which were more or less untaught to humans, faith in religions as it once was as compared to these days had a different meaning. Regardless demons also require this but lets just say to fear something you have to have complete faith it can harm you.
Christian god may or may not be real, but he did not create the world or the universe
>>
Saying something definite about them is impossible because, by nature, they don't have a material presence. Thus, everything we say about them will be nothing but conjecture.

I do think the most rational explanation comes from Jung's work, where they would be manifestations of the collective unconscious. Basically, quirks of the basic structure of the human psyche.

Mind you, I'm not hostile to more exotic explanations. Human perception is far from perfect, there might be a lot we don't know about because we just can't perceive it. But any explanation relying on things we can't perceive would by nature be little but the fantasy of the person putting the theory forward. The strength of Jung's theory is that it relies on empirical observation and data.

Our reality is a spiritual school. Every ying has its yang. Very simple Light vs dark. You fill in the blanks, it helps to know we aren't the only sentient beings in this multiverse and the negative faction has its agenda and some have very high technological and apritual understanding. Also after we are done woth our flesh bodies we do not die, for more complete truth look into the law of one.

Hey /x/, I got a question.
For a long long time I have been able to do something weird. Sometimes I would sit down and create an image in my head and later on in a few days, weeks, or even months I will be put in a situation where I see that exact image I imagined. I never knew what to think of it. Later on a friend recently told me he was doing that too.
So I wanted to see what /x/ thinks or knows of it. Have you guys experienced this or heard of it?
