There is a presence and/or dark energy that had been following me around since I was a small child. I would draw it and refer to it as the "Shadow man". My family was convinced I was afraid of my own shadow, but I know this is not the case. At the age of 6 it would materialize and pace back and forth around my bed and this was the ritual for months. I used to watch it walk back and forth but over time it seemed to get more and more aggressive and I didnt feel comfortable looking at it so I began to turn my back to it when it was on one side of the bed or the other..one night it crawled on the bed behind me and left an indention so big I had to tense my body so I wouldnt roll back towards it... Suddenly, the worse pain I have ever felt to date shot through my body. It hurt so badly I could not move or breathe, and it stayed like that until my father entered my room to say goodnight.. it has since periodically chosen random times at night to remind me it's still here with random acts of horror and I don't know what it is or why it is targeting me. I am now 20 and the most recent occurrence was last night. What is this?

My dog often barks at nothing in the most random places in my house, he will also stop and just stare blindly at walls and doorways. Sometimes he likes too run around and act like hes interacting with another person when there is no one there. Is there anyone else out there with a dog or any other pet that dose this?

Lately I have been having sleep paralysis and when it happens it seems my mind cant help but bring on a very intense tingling sensation all over my whole body. I think this is me trying to astral project but I dont want to do these things anymore. I know nothing about whatever else is 'beyond' and I almost feel like the point of life is to remain ignorant of these things. I feel like I may have dug too deep with my curiosity and I am scared that these types of experiences would ultimately be a negative on me and my family. Its hard for me to pretend like I dont know these things are real now. Now that I know, i wish I didnt.

Did I start something that is detrimental. Are there demons and shit out there? I dont want to tamper with things that we shouldnt be. Why couldnt I help myself?
