I am demonkin. I have plans for world domination, I hate people in general and I have some red hair which some Christians say is the devil's color. Also I don't recall anything before my third birthday, my first memory is of waking up in a bedroom and seeing my brother for the first time and thinking : Who's this? 3 is a number associated with the occult and may point to a demonic soul or that I am a reincarnated wizard or something.
Any strange happenstances in your life /x/?

I believe I have been cursed, and I believe my fathers voodoo and Santeria practices have caused it. I have spoken with a friend from Ecuador who,after hearing my story has seriously encouraged me to seek a way to break the supposed curse. I identify with almost every "symptom" of being cursed.
I really hope someone on /x/ can help me. I am willingly to provide details as to why I believe I'm cursed if anyone believes they can help me.

My mother asserted that they were eaten by a dog. However, if they were eaten... Why were their entire remains still within the tub?

The most interesting experience I had with this "ellagua" figure, was the first night his idol was brought home. This was also my first experience with sleep paralysis. I overcame the sleep paralysis and when I awoke, I sat up from my top bunk. I looked down, and on my floor, I saw a man. He was dressed in a vest.. Gloves, among other things. Interestingly, his head was actually that of the rock idol my father brought home that day. He sat cross legged and was playing with my toys. He looked up at me. I then proceeded to scream and jumped from the top bunk, and ran to my parents room. In the morning, my father and mother sat in the living room. My father asked me to describe the figure I saw once more. When I did that, he pulled up a foto of ellagua on the Internet. It was strikingly similar to my description. My mom denied the entire thing, still does to this day.
Since then I have been plagued with sleep paralysis. It seems to come and go in waves. Sometimes it will occur 4-5 times a night, in a number of consecutive days. Sometimes it only happens once every 2 weeks. I can even get sleep paralysis while falling asleep in class. During SP I will see a translucent goblin creature standing over me, or that my body is being lifted up towards the window, as if to me float me away.

First, we need to recognize that we are constantly evolving, everything is at a constant rate of change.
Now that is out of the way, we need to understand the power of suggestion.
The conscious mind can accept suggestion and it can reject suggestion, the subconscious mind however cannot reject suggestion. The subconscious can be filled with good information and therefore have postive results, and be filled with negative information causing suffering and negative results.
When information is repeated, we form paradigms. When we are being hammered with negative thinking, our perception reflects negative thinking. Think for example many of the content on websites like this; how often does a place like this cause you to have negative attitudes towards the world, spiritual concepts, people, groups, etc. Feeling sad because people hammer you with insults on your perfectly valid ideas, or looking at threads with these twisted perceptions; all to subliminally try to get you to think a certain way that benefits "them" and does not benefit you. What good comes out of it?
To defeat this negative thought and action pattern, we need to reinforce the mind with repetition of postive thoughts, thinks that bring good energy. Thinks like reading, excersise, quietly sitting, all can help us find better sources for more positive attitude.

Seeing as most occult knowledge and texts can be gained in PDF format a google search away, can it really be considered 'occult' in that sense? It's publically available, unlike it once was. So, mysticism as I practice it, is actually a form of skepticism.
Non-mystics usually have a dogmatic mindet:
They have certain truths they believe to be actually true, a believe system they cling to.
The goal of all philosophy, religion (and for some even science) is to build up a logically consistent system
to understand the world. That's usefull, as long as it isn't mistaken for literal truth.
It's all just models.
The goal of mysticism is thus to remove all attachment to such systems, to get to the point
where you can still use them as they can be helpful, but you're aware that
they aren't true.
By removing attachments you get to the enlightened state of mind.
This state will also mean no "suffering", which should not be confused with no pain or unpleasant experiences.
