My knowledge of Lovecraftean universe is limited and i'd like to be informed. I only really know of Cthulhu and the small amount of information given from 'The Call of Cthulhu: Darkest Corners of the earth' game. I do know that the game is actually based on shadow over innsmouth though.

A couple of weeks ago I made a thread about the scariest things anyone has seen on here, some anon talked about some picture of a guy dressed as an owl or bird in a dank room with a bunch of rotten magazines on the walls. Sounds silly I know but I'm intrigued, does anyone have it?

So I scried (scryed?) Into a candle For about 40 mins the other night. After about 15 mins the beams that refract off the candle reached my chest and out toward the ceiling.
I focused on the beams and began to see a bluish vapor emanating from them. By then I fell into a trance like state and watched as one candle became two and the beams form a closed off diamond CONT.

In the diamond the bluish vapor made what looked like a portal(?) It was like passing waves of awkward shapes and patterns and non human faces. I try to make out images in the smoky vagueness but it's all very ambiguous. It felt angelic and surreal. Sorry forgot to mention I was also listening to low vibration binaurul beats and rubbing an celestial amythest.
Sorry if this belongs in another thread, just have a shitload to write about it.

I see a fucking little blue man with a goat like face and symbols on his forehead looking into the candle that I was scrying into. I say "dope" and smiles at me and says "dope" back. As of recently a Discord-sever has been set up to discuss different things.
We started out researching an internet page (further info if you decide to
join the server, as I will not spread that here, again).
Since we decided to not investigate it furher, the server is slowly dieing out due
people not seeing any reason continue staying, though we're having a whole lot
of different topics to discuss from theoretical polymer physics over
(pseudo-) religious stuff to whatever you can imagine. No limits, unless

I've read about the "third eye". Can you actually explain what that is and
what the consequences would be if you opened it ? Especially since different religions/cults/etc. have different views on it. I remember some mystic
satanists having rituals of "opening the third eye" (among others like thelemic
people ?). This was considered great by some ("seeing the world clearly" and so on)
but very bad by others (i.e. "it attracts demons and this is going to fuck up
your live).

There is no mystery at all. The reason I'm not spreading the story about the page is simply that peope are softly annoyed by it.
That said, and as i wrote in OP, the server is not for this matter anymore anyway. We discuss, sometimes "research", a variety of topics.

But here's the thing. I'm not really smart enough to know what the ego is.
I was thinking if I tried to create an ego/persona, I can come to see it is a thought contruct in my own head and not my ultimate self.
Am I barking up the wrong tree with this? Should I just forget about it? Or might it be worth while?

There was this YouTube video that used to be in the /x/ dump sticky that showed some Spanish-speaking teenagers sitting around a fire or something with one of them playing a guitar maybe (it's been a while since I've seen it).
Anyway one of them is filming with a camera and yelling something about their being something close to them, then all of a sudden this horrid looking humanoid creature scurried through the middle of them and none of them besides through the camera seem to be able to see it.
Anyone have this video? I searched the entire /x/ dump where I first located it and I can't seem to find it in their anymore?

People I know one of you has the video.
Teenagers sitting around speaking either Spanish or some other shitskin language (it might have actually been filipino) and something that looks like that fucking rake creepypasta appears in the middle of them but no one seems to be able to see it unless they look at it through the camera lens.
The guy filming yells something, and the creature turns towards the camera before scampering off.
I remember reading in the comments someone saying this was a spirit that appeared in their counties folklore or something.
I would bet my life saving that this video was once in the /x/ sticky. I remember being so disturbed by it that I came back and watched it pretty much everyday for a week by finding it in the sticky (the video didn't have an English name so I don't know what it was called), then I came back a month ago and tried to find it again and couldn't. I spent all of yesterday opening every video in that stick, even ones that clearly weren't related to it, and it's not fucking there now.
What's happening someone else has got to remember this.
